Getting a heated red LED light on my stomach and electrical pads underneath my body.
    Ida F.

I was in Scottsdale visiting family between Christmas and New Year's and I discovered Jolt PEMF Lab. I was curious, so I decided to take advantage of the generous "new client" special, which was $150 for three one hour visits. My boyfriend also did the same. We both have our share of aches and pains, but I really wanted to focus on my right hand, which has had trigger finger (spreading from one finger to three) and hand pain. I've been dealing with this pain for almost two years. Earlier this year I got cortisone injections, twice, but was still stiff and in pain. So why not? Nothing to lose. After three days in a row, my pain went from a 10 to a 5. I decided to go back for one last 30 minute treatment before leaving Scottsdale. Now I have increased movement in my hand and still weeks later, an improvement in my hand pain. It's maybe a 3 now, although first thing in the morning it's still a bit stiff. I'm a believer, and will go back when I'm in Scottsdale. In the meantime I'm trying to find something like this near me in California.

My mother has been a patient of Synergy for well over a year now, struggling with complex, painful,…read moreand frustrating medical issues. When my knee pain escalated in 2022, she nagged me (as all good moms do) to get it checked out. So I made an appointment with an Ortho, and also with Synergy to get a full assessment. It turned out that I had a full ACL tear from a football injury seven years prior (hey, don't look at me that way, I thought knee pain was normal as you aged). Vincent and Kaley walked me through my options, sharing surgical and non-surgical approaches, and what life would look like on the other side of either choice. Ultimately, I decided to have reconstruction, as I'm fairly young and like to be quite active, and the chance to possibly avoid full knee replacement was appealing. To prep for surgery, I spent 4-5 months doing pre-hab to get as strong as possible, setting myself up for success. Pre-hab was often grueling, especially on top of my regular workout schedule, but I knew my best chance would require me dig deep and work hard. My surgeon, who speaks highly of SPT, was really impressed with my strength going into surgery, and confident that the work I put in would set me up nicely on my path to recovery. As I write this, I'm 7 weeks post-op, and things are moving along nicely. What made me trust everyone at SPT was the no B.S. approach. They don't ice your leg, or baby you through little stretches you should be doing at home. They hone in on the muscles and areas that are weak, and help you dive in and dig deep to improve. The key to success at SPT is homework - you HAVE to take responsibility for your recovery 24/7 - it's YOUR body and you have to live in it. Two or three 60-90 minute PT sessions a week will NOT get you to where you need to be, you have to be willing to do your stretches and exercises every day. I work out 3-4 days a week, separate from PT because I KNOW that's my best chance at a healthy knee. When an area is tight/painful, I share it and they help me by any means necessary to work through and alleviate the pain. If you stay in tune with your aches/pains/tight areas, then communicate that clearly, and stay consistent with the work, you're not going to fail. Sometimes, I'm convinced the team at SPT wants patients to succeed more than the patient themselves. They can guide and teach, but you have to do the work. There are no shortcuts. Bottom line - their approach is unconventional. They don't treat you like a child and babysit you, but if you have questions/concerns they ALWAYS address them kindly and fully. Pain is part of injury, and part of healing, but on the other side of that pain is a better you. If you advocate for yourself, and work hard at PT and AT HOME, you can't find a better partner on that journey than everyone at SPT. I'll never trust any other PT spot in The Valley - I'm Synergy Strong for Life.

Her genuine concern, compassion & empathy were evident as she explained that she too had an elderly mother, and she cared so much. This experience marked the beginning of the outstanding care my mother received at AZ Pain. Violetta Melkum has an extensive experience and thoroughly explained my mom's CT scan from SMIL using the model of the spine until we could fully understand all of the problems, what could be treated, and being honest about what could not. The first visit included a pain-relief shot and a professional back brace, all covered for just $30 dollars with Medicare! Dr. Jensen is so highly recommended that we are again very fortunate to have him perform the epidurals, and are grateful to Sophia Diego, the scheduler to get my mother into the schedule so quickly. Believe me, when you have debilitating pain, every day seems like a month. AZ Pain "bends over backwards" to relieve your back pain! And I love how the receptionist always says in such a warm & cheerful voice, "Hi Miss (and your first name)!" to every patient. Impressed and respectful of every aspect of AZ Pain, I'm confident in entrusting them with my own back pain once I can step away from my caregiving responsibilities. It should go without saying, but check to make sure that that accept your insurance For Medicare users - minimal co-pays cover the exceptional care you receive. No endocrinologist has been willing to engage with my question of 'why is my thyroid enlarging' other than doing a biopsy which came back benign and putting me on a low dose synthroid. Cara did talk to me about different reasons this inflammation might be happening, and I've found through trying different ideas she suggested, that iodine and gluten are big factors for me. It is mind-blowing and undeniable what I different I feel in my increased energy, lifting of mental fog, and decrease of thyroid size. I am so, so thankful for Cara. If you are hitting roadblocks with your thyroid issues, I would definitely encourage you to see Cara! Just as we've come to see that gastroenterology and naturopathic medicine work together, it has been my experience that endocrinology and naturopathic medicine can also go hand in hand.

I went to this practice specifically for PRP injections having exhausted so many other treatments for chronic neck pain. Multiple people told me to try this treatment because it helped them immensely. I did three rounds of injections as advised. No imaging/mri was ever taken or done before hand which I questioned. The injections were painful and each time I let them know I was getting much relief. I paid 1675.00 for three treatments and was told that generally helps most people. After the third treatment I was told I may have to much damage and stem cell injections would be the next option. I confirmed with other doctors that stem cells cannot be taken from the stomach area which is what this clinic does. So thankful I did not spend the 5,000 here on that treatment. After being in pain, spending money and getting no relief I moved on and had several second opinions. I learned PRP injections are done very differently and was advised by reputable doctors that I was scammed. An mri is a bare minimum when injecting into the neck and the amount of prp used was extremely low. Also, it is generally one treatment and you are under anesthesia because they go through many layers. When a person is in pain they are desperate for some relief and I feel this clinic took advantage and took my money. The treatments are not being done properly and it creates false hope and then you are left with no relief and cannot get that money back. Unacceptable. Please go to a reputable doctor for PRP if you are considering. I'm trying to get my money back with no luck. I need to have PRP done again elsewhere and the money would go towards it.
