The doctor is a nice guy but the massage therapists are apathetic and not helpful, something that the doctor did not intervene within or resolve in my case. I was told to not give any feedback when massages were ineffective or in the wrong places and I found the rudeness of this situation astonishing. I got a package for 2 adjustments and 2 massages on Groupon recently and I definitely feel I lucked out with this place! I had an excellent first visit! Everything from easily booking the appointment, the nice and friendly receptionist, easy parking in the back made me feel so comfortable for my first visit! The doctor is so nice, easy going and makes you feel very comfortable! And the massage therapist Arnak is AMAZING!! He really gets in there with the massage--it is a no frills therapeutic massage--that will most likely leave you a little sore after but in a good way because ultimately it flushed out toxins, relieves all the knots, and gets rid of chronic pain which is exactly what I was looking for! No one ever tried to sell me anything (which can happen with Groupon packages) and I got everything and more for what I paid for! The doctor even put me in the water massage bed that was ridiculously amazing and relaxing while I waited for the massage. I felt amazing after this visit--so much so that I was scared I wouldn't be able to drive home because I was THAT relaxed! The doctor and employee is very friendly and knowledgable i was in a car accident in early June and i have been coming to see him for shoulder and upper back pain and i have been coming in to see him a few times a week for the last few months and i have to say my shoulder no longer has any problems or pain. He performed ultrasound on my left shoulder for a few weeks and now my shoulder pain is gone. Before seeing him i couldn't lift my arm or shoulder over my head. I used to have a lot of upper back pain every day since the accident and he has now gotten that pain to go away also. I still wake up a little stiff but my treatment here is not complete and I'm sure the doc will have me feeling 100 percent by the time I'm done with treatment. This is only the second chiropractor I have been to, and I felt very comfortable like I could ask a lot of questions and get to know more about the aching and tension I have in my neck and shoulders frequently. I also got a massage too, and boy he is strong! I felt a change in the tension by the next day and it was quite a relief. Overall the whole staff is friendly, and lets me lay in a warm water bed with bottled water while I wait for appointments :) They truly want to set an atmosphere for relaxation and pain relief. Dr. Postajian was an excellent doctor and took care of me like no other! From the first day that I walked in his staff treated me with the upmost professionalism and made me feel comfortable being there. Even when I was told I had a pretty serious back problem, they made sure to help the pain go away and recommended ways to make sure I keep my back from getting worse. One of the employees, Hike, was extremely friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. Anytime I had a problem with my neck or back he provided me the right treatment and made me feel a lot better. Have only had 2 sessions so far, both chiro adjustment and massage, and really am quite pleased. I haven't been to many chiros in the past, so don't have much to compare to, but am planning to make more of a general maintenance habit of it, and they seem to really know what they are doing here. I definitely feel more flexible after a couple adjustments and the massage is a REAL massage that will work out muscle kinks you didn't even know you had, no relaxation nonsense. It will hurt, but in a good way, and you will be the better off for it. read more

This was the worst chiropractic experience I have ever had. I had never heard of this provider until I got an email from a Groupon-like company offering a one-hour massage, xrays and an exam valued at over $300 for $39. An expert massage therapist can be hard to find. This sounded like a great deal, so I purchased it. The offer was for the Pasadena or Altadena office. I chose Pasadena because it is closer to where I live. When I attempted to make the appointment, the doctor (who answered the phone) told me that he no longer had a Pasadena office (however, the availability of both locations was quite prominent on his e-mailed offer). I agreed to the other location and set an appointment for what I was told would be my massage and my exam. When I arrived, I was given about 10 documents (double sided) to read and sign. I was then asked to watch a promotional video on the benefits of chiropractic care. After that, the doctor called me into one of his examining rooms (I also want to add that while I was watching the video, the doctor called his assistant into another room during which an exchange between them that I would call inappropriate for any "patient" to hear took place; the doctor was basically scolding his assistant for something the assistance didn't do quite right or fast enough. I can understand an employer needing to talk with his employee about work issues, but I didn't need to have to hear it. It made me very uncomfortable. The doctor could have closed the door and I would have probably heard nothing, but he did not. My "exam" followed during which time the doctor pushed on and turned my head in a way that triggered a migraine within 10 minutes. His "exam" also triggered the return of serious neck pain from past issues that had not been a problem for years. A set of neck xrays followed, after which I expected to be getting the one-hour massage that had initially brought me to him. That never happened. When I was asked, instead, to make a return appointment. The doctor told me that he was having "scheduling issues" with has massage therapist and he had a meeting with that person later that day to try and resolve it. I refused to make another appointment. I left with a raging headache and neck pain. In the three weeks that have followed, I have had to take high doses of ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer to help ease the pain, which has still not fully abated. I ended up returning to a provider I had seen years ago whose practice is in another part of Los Angeles where I used to live. I will recover. But what about some elderly person or someone with a physical health issue? This doctor could cause more damage than good. I called the company I purchased the discounted certificate from and filed a complaint. They refunded my money. read more

I had the best experience going to Doctor Jon. I had recently injured myself at the gym and my shoulder was in a lot of pain. I got an x-ray turns out I sustained a severe case of tendinitis. Dr Postajian is a wonderful chiropractor. He is patient and spends all the time you need answering your questions. He has multiple locations which makes it convenient to refer him to friends and family. I visit his Glendale office.
