But the BIG point I want to make here is about the character behind the business. I had some rather extensive repairs done on my car last year. Shortly after which I had to travel to Massachusetts for medical reasons, needing to stay in Massachusetts for surgery and a fairly long PT rehab. During this time I had difficulty with my car. I was told my car needed the same repair John's shop had done on my car...big $$$. I knew it couldn't be true but had no idea what to do. I reached out to John HAUSER'S and John went ABOVE AND BEYOND, helping me trouble shoot, find a reputable garage, and HE called to apprise the garage owner about the case. I have no words!!! I have such respect and gratitude for John's kind, professional, honest, straightforward help!!!! This took time and effort away from his busy day with quite a few different interactions; not only calls with me but researching garages in the area I was in in Massachusetts, but also actually calling and talking with the owner of the garage I ended up taking my car for the service needed. The net result of the repair saved me HUNDREDS of dollars (over a thousand) and a car that's safe to drive back to Pennsylvania in a few weeks! They said they had to get a guy in there to do the work that had the tool, and he couldn't either. They told me that in order to get the filter off, they had to replace the fuel line. They had one excuse after another. They had it for a month!!! I didn't know where else to go. They finally told me that they couldn't do it. I was not happy. I picked it up in the evening after they were closed. When i called them earlier in the day, he said i owed him $40, which I dropped in their slot. When I started the truck, i had a check engine light, an awful smell and smoke coming from the exhaust and it didn't sound right. It was not that way when i dropped off. I notice a lot of my gas was missing and there was mud splattered up the side of the truck. It was clean when i gave it to them. It was obvious that they were using it and did other damage. I was recommended by a friend to a mechanic in Linwood. They new what was wrong and are honest people!! When he looked at it, he told me that they mangled the fuel line trying to get the filter off. This cost me a good amount of money!! The owner of Iacon's is also good friends with a mechanic in Aston who is also a thief and liar! Not a coincidence. OTHER THAN BASIC INSPECTION/EMISSIONS, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!

Updated review: 8/20/20 Had to come on here with an update…read morebecause these guys took me in right away when my car window motor broke. They also allowed me to pay them over the phone because they saw that I had been a frequent visitor over the last couple of months, and I didn't have my credit card with me when my window broke. They definitely didn't have to do that but did--what a customer courtesy! They also gave me a water while waiting because I had just come from a long run. What more can you ask for! This is one of a handful of small businesses in the area that I actually feel comfortable at. I drive out of my way to get gas here to support them. You should come and see for yourself and hopefully do the same. These guys picked up where Tom and Nick left off--courteous, honest, and hard-working. I have already been to them numerous times for gas, oil changes, inspections, repairs--all of which were handled with care. Chris, with whom I spoken on a number of , is professional and positive, something that makes the experience of going here more pleasant. I feel strongly about people who are working hard to establish a new business in the community, and these guys are doing just that! Highly recommend!

I was charged $1000 for my one of my rear calipers to be replaced. This seemed unreasonably high. I sent the receipt to my regular mechanic to see if the repairs are in line with standard pricing. They were not. Cal's put their mark up on retail pricing of parts. I would have liked to have used them as my regular mechanic for oil changes and brake jobs. There are cheaper places out there who actually try to save you money. I feel I was way overcharged and ripped off. Go somewhere else.
