When I asked the office why they gave me another one they said they didn't have the one from my previous dentist because I didn't give it to them and I said they never asked for it. They told me if I booked online I wouldn't have known to ask my dentist but if I called them someone would have told me. Like ok it's my fault for booking online???? Additionally, they're supposed to check insurance ahead of time and be aware of coverage and costs. I've never been so dissatisfied with a dentist office in my life.

I was so nervous when I had my first visit but Linda and everyone made me feel so comfortable. They took me on a tour of the place and told me what each room was for. They explained everything they were going to do and asked me if I was ok along the way. Their techniques and machinery are state-of-the-art and they even have cable-tv so you can watch while you're in the chair! I have been for the sedation dentistry, regular cleanings and ZOOM! teeth whitening and I now can say I am totally comfortable with going to dentist! I love the way my teeth look and feel and I really like everyone that works there. They also are going to help my fiance out with a mouth-guard to help with sleep-apnea in the near future. I would recommend this place to everyone! If you are afraid of the dentist, check this place out, it was alittle steep in price but they work with you. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. The result was a dark, dull tooth that I saw in every photo. I met with several dentists about it over the years but they either wanted to do more work than I was comfortable with, it was too pricey for me at the time, or their front desk staff were less than easy to work with. I was referred to this practice by an orthodontist. She said this office is where she sent all of her patients for that final aesthetic touch-up after long courses of braces or Invisalign. She showed me some before and after photos, and I contacted this office for a consultation. They were able to schedule me via email which was extremely convenient. After a thorough consultation and discussion of my problem and possible solutions, I was offered a clear rate sheet outlining the cost of the procedures. It's not cheap, but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. I'm happy to say that although the cost is high, the level of service and professionalism is as well. Dr. Dancykier encouraged me to be honest with him throughout the process, and when I decided that my temporary veneers were too long, it was easy to schedule an adjustment and re-mold so that the final results were perfect. Not once was I treated like a nuisance for asking questions or wanting changes made, which can be the case in a lot of other medical or dental settings. After getting my temporaries and final veneers, Dr. Dancykier contacted me to make sure I was happy with them, which I really appreciated. I may go back for one small adjustment, and it's nice to know that I can do that easily at this practice. Also, every single appointment I had here began on time, which was a nice added bonus on top of everything else.

However when they called they said they only way for me to get an appointment would be to make a appointment for a cleaning and full exam. Unfortunately it hasn't quite been six months since his last exam so I wasn't sure if my insurance would cover the cleaning yet. When I described the problem again they told me if I didn't do the cleaning I couldn't get an appointment until February. Obviously with a chipped tooth you shouldn't wait that long to receive any care--and honestly their staff should be telling people that so that the child's tooth doesn't get more damaged. I'm totally fine if they just didn't have an opening (and in fact we ended up finding a really nice office). However, I just think they should remove the claim from their website that they do emergency dental care because based on my conversation with them they basically don't.

The hygienist said the dentist was in a procedure while we continued waiting after the cleanings of the other 2, far beyond a reasonable amount of time. Our three appointments were at the same time and I'm not sure how another procedure could have been added in between them. More concerning was the mishandling of medical records afterward. When requesting my children's records to transfer care, the office repeatedly failed to send them correctly and ultimately sent another family's children's records to me, while sending some of my children's records to a different parent. This serious HIPPA violation was only acknowledged after I pointed it out myself. The combination of excessive wait times, poor communication, and careless handling of sensitive patient information made us lose confidence in this practice entirely.
