NIT RECOMMENDED! I ordered flowers from an online company called From You Flowers. THEY chose Jones florist in the Cincinnati, the city of my Dad's wife for her Mother's Day arrangement. I chose the middle size arrangement which cost me $57.11. She was kind enough to send me a picture when it arrived. 1) It had barely any water in the vase. 2) there were very few flowers in the vase. 3)The flowers that were in the vase were drooping. 4) There was no powder packet for the water for the longevity for what flowers there were. I contacted From You Flowers and explained what happened. They said they would have the florist get a correct beautiful arrangement out on Tuesday after Mother's Day. I said ok. By Wednesday there were no flowers, so I tried calling Jones Florist. GET THIS...THERE RECORDED MESSAGE SAYS THEY CLOSE AT 11 EVERYDAY. I live in a time zone that is 6 hours earlier, so I would have hat to call between 4 am to 4:45 am. I then called the From You Flowers again. They first said they'd have flowers sent out by Thursday. Then he changed it to be delivered by Friday. By Saturday there were no flowers still weren't delivered, so I cancelled the charge on my card. I was in need of a florists in Cincinnati Ohio and found the Jones The Florist via Yelp. I had been struggling to identify a quality florist who could deliver same day worst case scenario next day. I called and Diane answered my call. She was so pleasant. She assured me that I was in good hands. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow so I have my prayers up that all will go well. This was a super important delivery due to the sensitive nature of who was getting the flowers. This is my follow up to share what happened after my order was placed. The order was delivered on time and a confirmation was emailed to me letting me know. When you aren't local to an area you truly are at a disadvantage when it comes to trusting that the service you see online is going to be the reality of what you receive. The flowers were beautiful. The picture from what I am told doesn't do the arrangement justice. The key here is that Diane's word was true, she took care of me and I'm truly happy I found you via YELP! My daughter has sent me flowers three times since the beginning of the pandemic (pretty thoughtful daughter, huh?). The first time there were issues with flowers left at the wrong building, the wrong apartment, or in the mail room and I received no notification. I did lots of walking tracking down flowers that couldn't be found. She sent flowers for Thanksgiving and they came from Jones the Florist. They got the right building, left a message when I didn't answer the front door release call, and willingly came back. They brought the flowers right to my door which was a first. The arrangement was beautiful and has lasted better than any arrangement I've received in a long time! The roses still look good after 1 1/2 weeks. The lilies have continually opened and been beautiful without the questionable aroma they often have. Jones the Florist has my vote! read more

Awful. Sent candy to wife's office. Delivered after business hours to wrong address. After call from delivery driver instructed to deliver to alternate address. Called several times to get explanation and delivery fee refunded. No answer. No call back. Use to be regular customer. read more

I was told they are a great local florist; however the picture I saw was nothing like the actual bouquet. Don't call it Victorian Romance and send something that looks like a high school prom corsage! Colors, flowers and vase COMPLETELY different and certainly not worth over $100 read more

I will never order from Jones the Florist in the Cincinnati area again. I have had two bad experiences with them. I was the recipient the first time, and my boyfriend mentioned that he ordered flowers in advance to be delivered on Valentine's Day, and it wasn't. I ended up canceling the order for him, and the customer service was awful. I decided to give them another chance, and I placed an order to be picked up at the Deerfield location. The woman that took the order was friendly, but she placed an order at a location that no longer exist. When I called the downtown location, they were rude and unhelpful, so again, I cancelled the order. I will never give this florist my business again! read more

I will never order from Jones the Florist again. They sent an email on Wednesday asking me to confirm that the flowers had been received. They were not to be sent until Friday. I called and they had no idea what that was about (and they are still saying that). So they then confirmed that the flowers were to be delivered on Friday AND that they would call to be sure someone was at home to accept them. I called at 1:30 Friday as the flowers had not been delivered. They assured me that they were on the truck and that the delivery person would call first. Flowers were left on the front porch in full sun and no call was made. I called and they are refunding my money (beside the point). They are very annoying to do business with as they do not answer the phone!! We are at lunch, we only have one person here.....a mile of excuses... bye-bye! read more

A noon same day delivery for my 85 year old mother's birthday was not handled, and no phone call to let me know. USELESS floral service. Always great, but they out did even themselves, this time. I ordered an arrangement for a coworker facing unexpected surgery the next day. I ordered online at 10am, she emailed all of us a big thank you at 1pm, same day, saying she was really touched by the big smiley face mug with roses and daisies in it. I ordered for my wife who teaches in a school for Valentine's day. Turns out that a family emergency kept her away from school on the the day of delivery. I called them and they could not have been more helpful to accommodate me in making sure the flower arrangement was handled the way I needed. I know I spoke with Dianne during one phone call and can't remember the other lady's name. But both were extremely friendly, competent and very helpful.
