Let me just say I popped in for a quick slice and it was 2:30 in the afternoon. The pizza all looked like it's been sitting there a while. The calzones and Stromboli looked good but I didn't need a whole one myself. So I opted for the slice. They did reheat the slice making it extra crispy crust which I like. But the cheese ended up being quite dry. I think if I would try it again I would opt to go when a whole pie could be ordered. 3.5 stars. read more

Scanning the menu, I was surprised pepperoni was not available as a slice. It appeared to be blacked out. When I approached to order, I saw four slices from two cheese pizzas were left in the display case. I inquired if all I could get was cheese as a slice, but an employee told me that any topping were available as a slice. All they do is take a slice of cheese pizza and add the desired topping. He also confirmed pepperoni was available even though it was not listed on the menu. So I ordered two slices of pepperoni and the cashier grabbed two slices of the cheese pizza to be converted to pepperoni. Unfortunately, the pepperoni slices were just okay. Of the bubbles in the crust, one was quite large. The edges were brittle and the pizza would crack when folded. Unfortunately, the two slices were not a good value. I almost got the slices for free. When I was about to pay for my order, only the fountain drink showed up on the screen and I asked about the pepperoni slices. The cashier thought I had already paid for the pizza. Last night we ordered: a large cheese, a medium meat, fettuccine Alfredo, chocolate cake, tiramisu, and zeppole (don't judge, it was a hard week!!!). This IS our new Friday night pizza place. The kids loved, the adults loved it. The meat pizza was really delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The crust was crispy and tasty. The sauce was perfect. It was just really good pizza which is hard to find in this area. We warmed up leftovers tonight in the oven and, yep, still delicious. Jonnys supreme pizza has been a regular Friday night staple for me for almost a year. I picked one up tonight and it looked different. When I questioned it, I was told thats how we make it now. It was disgusting. The FRESH peppers, onions, and black olives that once topped this masterpiece were replaced with soggy tomatoes, green olives and buried under globs of cheese. The freshness is gone. Do yourself a favor and get a frozen pizza from Walmart! So sad read more

We have had Johnnys from Frisco like 100+ times and when we moved over here we were excited to have one close. This location was not the same. Pizza was so greasy it was like wet and slippery. This is one of the new places to eat across from the Walmart on golden triangle blvd. My family has been trying each of the new places that came in and so it was time to try the new pizza place. Since it is so new, there were not a ton of reviews of what people recommend. I wanted to try several items and really try what they had to offer. We wanted to give them a little time having the doors open to get the real experience. We ordered curbside pickup but at the time of pickup it started raining so we went inside to get it so the employees didn't have to go outside. The restaurant was empty, but it was also a 4pm pickup so we didn't think much into that. Johnny's Appetizer sampler comes with calamari, wings, cheese sticks, garlic bread. Bbq wings- breaded and covered in thick bbq sauce. There was absolutely nothing special about this. Im Calamari- these have to be bulk bought from the cheapest distributor possible. It tasted like a rubber band was deep fried. Cheese sticks- it was breaded cheese with no flavor of either. The marinara was bland. Garlic bread- this one caught me off guard. It was a whole loaf of garlic bread. Not the homemade kind it was more like the ones you buy from Walmart out of the freezer section and just pop in the oven as is. The pizza we ordered was so greasy even the crust was saturated. We ordered cheese pizza and meatball pizza. We thought it would be a great way to try the meatballs since we were also considering one of the pasta dishes. The meatballs had no flavor at all. Overall I am very unimpressed. We kind of splurged to try several things and I regret doing so. There was not a single thing ordered that anyone in my household liked. With this quality, this place won't be here long. read more

I moved here from Manhattan - there is absolutely nothing New York about this pizza. I appreciate the generous toppings, but the amount of cheese was so much that when you pick up a slice, all toppings fell off. Flavor was decent enough but it looks like it's made in a pan which is not NY style at all. I also got a chicken parm, which was absolutely disgusting. The chicken (the size of a large chicken tender) was so over cooked and burnt that it was not edible. The spaghetti was cut into bite size pieces which was quite odd and resembled gummy baby food. The sauce tasted more like tomato paste than anything else. Spending $18.95 for this to just end up in the trash was disappointing. So details: Garlic knots: best I have had hands down. Chewy edge but soft bready inside with a light salting. It comes with their delicious marina sauce in a decent size. Calzone cheese with hamburger: Tender but crunchy, Meat was cooked but not dry and the crust is lightly spiced and comes with a good sized marinara sauce. Pizza! Hubby and I were childless and on a whim, decided to swing by this place after realizing a nearby pizza restaurant wasn't dine-in. We were a bit lost in our own world (distant family member in trouble, dear friend lost his special needs child - not necessarily a "normal" evening by any stretch of the word, but a bit on the heavy heart scale and not necessarily observant that this is NOT a full service restaurant - although we are usually very generous tippers nonetheless). I ordered pasta, hubby ordered pizza. Server brought the food and dropped it on the table. I asked for silverware (again, not realizing it isn't full service). She said NOTHING, but turned and walked away. So.... generationally, I get the stereotypes, but damn. How hard is it to be kind? Won't be back. I agree with the other review, prices are a bit steep for a pizza place. A kids cheese pizza was $10.95 and we ordered 2. Next time they can split, as it was a decent 6 slices. My side of ranch was $1.95, and they forgot to bring it out with my order. The bartender was very sweet and helpful. The pizza was decent, but nothing to rave about. Waited about 15 minutes for a kids chicken tenders and when I went to go ask about them all they said was "oh okay" and asked for my table number which was little confusing. Another 15 minutes passed and still no meal for my fussy 2 year old, he's at the picky eater stage. Asked again and they said she didn't hear me ask for the meal. Didn't get a picture of garlic knots, but they were delicious. Pizza wasn't floppy, a little greasy but not bad at all. When we walked in we though it was quaint and nicely decorated. They greeted us but offered us no assistance since this was our 1st time here. We chose a booth towards the back and noticed electric & USB ports and thought that was a nice touch. We watched as another table near us get their pizza before we did even though we ordered and sat before them. Ours then came out but was not made correctly. After taking it back she never came out to let us know how long it would be. I then had to go up to the register and ask the status of our pizza. She said it got a hole in it and they were still working on it. When it finally came to our table the half that was Meat Lovers had uncooked but slightly warm Canadian Bacon. It looked like it was an afterthought. Once I removed the CB the pizza tasted good. I'm not sure I will continue come here. It was very pricey for the product and service. read more

Decent pizza but they need to learn to bring the cheese bread out first, I also said I would grab the cheesecake at the end of the meal so it would stay cold but they brought everything out at one time. The manager was too busy/lazy to help grab me another beer when his bartender disappeared (yet she walked by several times not on the phone but didn't ask what we needed). At the end the bartender again disappeared into the bathroom so we couldn't use that as well (obviously back on the phone) overall skip actually going there until they learn customer service, pathetic service by the manager and overall staff. read more
