Food, DELICIOUS! Service, WONDERFUL! Ambiance was small and cute. This place is a hidden gem. These out-of-state visitors plan on returning.

    Meat Lovers Pizza

The pizza had an exceptional flavor, though the crust was a bit on the crunchy side for my taste. However, the toppings brought a delightful New England flair to this cozy little café, which exuded a charming, hole-in-the-wall vibe. I usually adhere to the belief that if a pizza place has "NY" in its name, it's likely not the real deal--or at best, a southern imitation. However, I've recently stumbled upon a few exceptions, including this northern gem tucked away off Golden Triangle Blvd that must thrive on word-of-mouth, as it's not the easiest spot to locate. The meat lovers pizza we chose was loaded with bold toppings, but the crust was a tad too firm for my taste. My memories of New England pizza involve gooey, delicious toppings that would slide off the crust if not folded properly. Still, the flavors here are robust and evoke memories of the northeast. We also sampled the Garlic Knots, which were enjoyable but didn't stand out above the pizza itself. Would recommend if you're only ordering pasta. The Shrimp Scampi, on the other hand, was excellent and worth the visit on its own. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and I highly recommend it for your pizza cravings!

The tiny one and I stopped in yesterday for a bowl of soup and a slice. We love the Italian Wedding soup. Perfect for these cold TX days we are having. Pizza is a bit salty for my taste but one of the better pizzas we have found. Service is always friendly.

We got 3 XL Pizza's on Sunday night. One sausage, one pepperoni, one cheese. We got them to go, which I hate to do with pizza, since you lose some of the crunch from the crust. We live about 5 min away, so it wasn't too bad. The crust was definitely crispy, under carriage looked really good. I got there a couple min early, which idk if that rushes them to pull them out early. To be honest, I am in no rush and if it stays in to get some extra crisp, then I am good with it. I know some customers do not like to wait. It wasnt busy at all inside, and they were VERY quick with the food. The people in the restaurant seemed nice. Pizza was VERY good, we got it with light cheese, since I dont like too much cheese on my pizza and they did it VERY good! Price is reasonable and the food was really good. Will go back for sure!

    Stuffed mushrooms!

    White pizza

this place is more like 3.75 out of 5 stars. The small plaza this place is located in is a bit weird... its almost seems residential.... However, this plaza has very delicious food. One of the favorite Mexican restaurant is located here... enough with the location, and onto the food. we ended up getting a white pizza (Chicken, spinach, basil, ricotta cheese.) 14 inch for 17 dollars, and kid's lasagna (which includes 2 garlic pieces of bread.) The white pizza was good as it is different than the other regular red tomato pizzas, and its not greasy and packed with flavor. The lasagna was also good, but it was a bit too salty. We ended up ordering via their online website. yes, the pizza is a bit more expensive than what you'll find at chains and or fast-casual pizza chain. However its best to support small businesses.

Apéritivo Hour should draw locals running every day in the bar & patio including drinks & snacks. I wish I had come with a larger appetite because the menu offers a balanced selection of antipasti (starters), zuppa (soup), insalata (salad), primi (housemade pasta), secondi (protein dishes), and contorni (sides). My gracious server recommended a Rosemary Foccaccia (saved for next time) and Wild Arugula salad that was garden fresh in a Texas pecan vinaigrette with snappy pecorino and the most incredible crisped chicken skin as an alternative to traditional breadcrumbs. It was light and fresh with depth and richness, a perfect starter. From cool to warm - a Kabocha Squash Soup made with honeycrisp apple cider topped a tart currant chutney and crunchy roasted pine nuts. Texture was velvety smooth, delicately sweet, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully light to precede later dishes. Dessert a must, ask for house recommendation which rotates. My lovely server remained present and attentive although I was her only patron on the patio - a sign of superb service! I'm looking forward to seconds and main on my next trip.

Clean, well lit. Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!

The restaurant is small and cozy. Twice we could not get in without a long wait. Other times we made reservations and did not need them. Best to be safe and call. Bar seating is also available if you want to sit there. The food was very good, we tried two of the dishes. They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly. But I understand the staff were working very hard. They only had two wait staff when we were there. Great place to go for a date or special night. Or anytime casual inside.
