Came in here on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead! We had the pepperoni knots to start which were delicious, they came with marina and a garlic sauce both great. We then followed those with the Grace Alfredo pizza which was also really good. Clean and cute inside and a patio. Good price, we would definitely come back.

It was Friday it was lunch ten and I was hungry.I was looking for pizza by the slice but they didn't have it.But they did have a special for a personal 3 topping pizza a salad and a drink for about 13 bucks. Not bad.I ended up getting pep, sausage and jalapenos. With the pizza being well done.As I was waiting on the pizza my salad came out.The salad was just your basic dinner salad m.Nothing special but it wasn't bad.So about ten minutes or so later my pizza came out.I told them well done but the pizza almost came out Burt. They guy was very nice about it and said he would remake it but I just didn't have the time. So as I ate the pizza it just reminded me of a frozen pizza. It just didn't have any kind of flavor to it.I mean it was ok but with all the great reviews I was expecting better.Maybe it was because it was a little overcooked? It did the job and that's all that matters. Will I go back?I might give them another shot and see how the pizza turns out next time? This time it was just average.

Food was DELISH! So fresh and great portions/prices. So good that it almost makes me overlook the poor customer service. No greeting at the entrance, only began speaking to me when I said hello, dropped off our food without saying a single word (or warning that the pasta plate was hot as heck straight out the oven). Knocked one star off for this, but food is worth 5 stars!

Palios never disappoints, tonight's special: a large specialty pizza $15 and I had a Greek salad which has lettuce, cucumber, banana peppers, sun dried tomatoes, regular tomatoes, olives, feta cheese and a tasty Greek dressing. We dined on their patio which has nice lighting. Their service is excellent too.

Palio's just keeps drawing me back. This is my third location to visit and the quality remains the same. Excellent pizza. Start with the specials. Almost every day has a different special, and some are good all the time. You can't beat the daily lunch special. My favorite is Grace's Alfredo. I order it every time. Ive tried several others, and they are all good. I really enjoyed the Greek salad. Prices are high, but for quality pizza, that's true everywhere. Of course there is an app so you can order online. Try Palio's, you'll like it.

We have lived in the same apartment for 4 years and have seen restaurants pop up all along Western Center Blvd. But for some reason, when Palio's came to town we were a bit hesitant to try. Perhaps the name threw us off, we don't normally try new pizza joints, after all it's Texas and there's so many bbq and chicken spots to try! However, we decided that after a long afternoon running errands we would give Palio's a go. And I'm so glad we did! I guess we were only expecting pizza to be on the menu, no no no. They have sandwiches and pitas, salads and even yummy desserts! I'm talking cannoli, cheesecake and tiramisu:D In short, don't let the word "pizza" deter you from trying this new cafe because they really do have delicious food to offer our community! And in case you actually DO want pizza, I've heard, from my neighbors that walk over there for dinner on occasion, it tastes amazing too!

We came here for lunch. It wasn't crowded. The place was very clean. The employees wore masks and gloves. Love their ambiance. The pizza here is among one of my favorites in the DFW area. Perfect crust and each bite is full of flavor. The are generous with the toppings, which I love. They have various sizes to cater to your appetite. They also serve wine and beer. We will definitely come back!

When I went there, I believe the place was empty. I picked up my to go order of pasta Arriabata and tiramisu. The customer server could use some work, it makes a difference when you smile. The prices are decent and they finished my order quickly. The pasta was creamy, flavorful and tasted fresh. The tiramisu was delicious as well. The pasta came with garlic bread which I appreciate. The portions are big, so this could easily be two meals with the dessert and side of bread. All in all, I will probably return to this location.

I was randomly in the mood for a good pie this evening and wanted to give this place a shot. We ordered delivery and it arrived in prompt timing. I got two small pizzas. I wasn't sure the size of them as it wasn't listed when ordering. I got a specialty veggie pizza and asked for extra sauce and added Feta. It was very good! Not saucy at all unfortunately but even then I couldn't complain. Love how they use real slices of tomato and totally loaded the veggies and feta. The second pizza was the scorching gourmet. Just like the name, it was HOT! Great flavor although the chicken was very dry. The smalls are like a big personally size pizza. A little too pricey but I'll probably be back.

Apéritivo Hour should draw locals running every day in the bar & patio including drinks & snacks. I wish I had come with a larger appetite because the menu offers a balanced selection of antipasti (starters), zuppa (soup), insalata (salad), primi (housemade pasta), secondi (protein dishes), and contorni (sides). My gracious server recommended a Rosemary Foccaccia (saved for next time) and Wild Arugula salad that was garden fresh in a Texas pecan vinaigrette with snappy pecorino and the most incredible crisped chicken skin as an alternative to traditional breadcrumbs. It was light and fresh with depth and richness, a perfect starter. From cool to warm - a Kabocha Squash Soup made with honeycrisp apple cider topped a tart currant chutney and crunchy roasted pine nuts. Texture was velvety smooth, delicately sweet, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully light to precede later dishes. Dessert a must, ask for house recommendation which rotates. My lovely server remained present and attentive although I was her only patron on the patio - a sign of superb service! I'm looking forward to seconds and main on my next trip.

We ordered the calamari and the bread & ricotta. I really loved the bread & ricotta. Something always gets me about bread and cheese. The calamari was pretty good, I liked the addition of the olives, but overall it was a typical calamari dish. We also ordered the little gem salad to share. It was perfect because there were 4 gems for each of us. This was also decent. Nothing particularly memorable about this dish, but still good. We each ordered our own entree. Our friends ordered the vodka rigatoni and the lasagna bolognese. Hubby ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and I had the cacio e Pepe and added sausage. Pastas were cooked to the perfect al dente. There was so much meat in all our entrees. We each had a bite of each other's meals. I couldn't decide which one I liked best. They were all so very good and they all tasted different. I really love having foodie friends. And then we ended with dessert/after dinner drinks. Our friends got an affogato and an espresso martini. Hubby and I shared the pistachio cake. That pistachio cake is to die for. I don't want to over exaggerate because what if you decide to get it and you hate it? Well, I loved it. It wasn't too sweet and the salt flakes on top was perfection! It was so good with the affogato. 100% would get again.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

On today's visit, Sun March 15, it was not very busy but people were waiting. Whether that was to order, to leave, or to get their food. When we were asked how many, the hostess walked away without any explanation. Just kind of left standing. After five minutes we were seated. This is where this location just falls apart, no one ever seems to be focused or attentive when we have been there. The staff does seem to enjoy being inside the small area behind the curtain. Our order was taken after a bit. We ordered the cherris and burrata, love those!!! For sure try them. CBF and chicken tika are solid pizzas. If you want an extra kick, get it spicy. I also ask for mine to be well done. If you have any aversion to possible burn area as on your crust, don't do well done. On this visit one of us ordered the build your own, ingredients were left off. We didn't say anything because it took long enough to get the order. We had to get our servers attention for the check. They dropped it so fast we couldn't say anything about asking to have the left off item removed from the bill. Wasn't worth the wait! Look, Cane Rosso is wonderful. We tend to take out of town visitors here. These past two visits to the FW location, just disappointing.

Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good.
