Very delicious pizza by the slice with excellent customer service. I've enjoyed the pizza multiple times and the price is a good deal

This food is so good!! My husband and son had been a few weeks ago and kept raving about it so we stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Great service. We ordered Calzone, Chicken Al Pesto, a slice of Meat Lovers Pizza, and Meat Lovers Baked Ziti! Huge portions loaded with meat, cheese, and sauce! Lots of menu options too. We will definitely be back!

This place did not disappoint. The slice of pepperoni pizza did remind me of a slice of New York pizza. The chicken pesto pasta was so good and so was everything we tried, the mozzarella sticks, wings, and garlic bread with cheese and marinera sauce. The folks there are very sweet and helpful and service is fast. I'm really glad I found this place. This place is great for takeout, dine in, and family dinners.

Ordered garlic knots expecting legit garlic knots, you know, the bread that's been tied in a knot and is decent size. What I received was more like garlic. Nuggets, looked like maybe they had cut up two legit garlic knots into quarters, and served us that. Not a good value at all for the price at all. The pizza was okay. Didn't think about the pics of the garlic "knots" but I got a pic of the pizza

Only recently-ish started coming here, but we really enjoy it! Straight away, the decor has that no-nonsense, "we're fancy because we ain't fancy" New Yoha-ka (my best attempt at the accent LOL) decor, I love it! Had a chance to make small-talk with one of the family on a previous visit, super nice legit New Yorker, fits like a glove here! The food's great, right on the expectation bullseye. Service is always people you'd love to find in a place like this, friendly. Wait times are not super-fast, but "in proportion with the quality", made to order. We've had most the pizzas, the calamari, various breads, etc, and they're all recommended (by me!!)! The large pizza is a whopper, each slice is as big as those "pizza by the slice" places you'd see in the mall in the 80s, that'll give you a sense of scale. And seasoned so nice, you can see in the pics. The salads, I gotta be fair, are their weak spot (IMO), they're not at all bad, they're fresh, just ultra simple/straight forward. But they at least have some. No biggie. Their cheesecake totally makes up for it LOL! This isn't the place to be on some aggressive diet, but if you don't tell, I won't tell. HEHEHE! Love Ya, Alex's! Anyway, we really enjoy stopping in here

My husband and I decided to try this place due to the convenient location to our house. We ordered a small white pizza, chicken Alfredo, two soft drinks, a side Caesar salad and a cheesecake. I read after the fact that this place is BYOB! Definitely something to keep in mind for next time. Drinks: They have pebble (sonic) ice! That's a plus for me on its own haha Bread: The rolls and slices of bread were really good. They come before your meal and are served warm. Caesar salad: We inhaled it before I could take a picture! The salad was good, the dressing was great. Chicken Alfredo pasta: The pasta was good, but not amazing. It is on par with comparable places nearby but didn't have a wow factor for me. Pizza: I ordered a small white pizza. When I think small, I'm think 4-6 slices. This was way more than that haha luckily, I am someone who enjoys leftovers. This place claims that they serve "New York style pizza" so I was expecting a pizza with super thin crust. However, that was not what I got. The crust is similar in thickness to a Papa Johns pizza. Flavor wise, it was good, but not amazing. I've definitely had better white pizza before. The tomatoes on top also seemed like an afterthought to me due to them literally just being thrown on top of the pizza, uncooked. Cheesecake: Cheesecake was cooked perfectly, good crust and consistency. I would order this again! Overall thoughts: I would return to this restaurant for their pasta but I think next time, I would skip the pizza. They do serve pizza by the slice too and I liked that idea.

So we are using the "one bite" idea of pizza rating. My husband gave it a 6.8. He is not a fan of the extra Parmesan cheese on top. I gave it a 6.2. I thought the crust was ok, I liked the crispness of the bottom and the softness of the inside however, I thought the sauce lacked flavor. There was an ample amount of cheese. One of the better NY style pizzas we have found in the area.

My first time here the other day, I work down the street so location was super convenient! Their menu was so big that I honestly didn't know what to order, but I knew I wanted a pizza! I will say that I am intrigued by their pastas so I will definitely be back! My coworker Cole told me about this restaurant and that he was very impressed with his last order so I decided to get us all some pizza! I wanted the basic pepperoni and cheese, but also wanted to try their sausage, and the others wanted chicken and spinach so we ended up with a little trio! It was really good! Hot and fresh! Will be back to try other entrees!

Came in around 330 was greeted by the friendly girl that took our order. She was patient and explained if I had a question. Before I even made it to the table with my drink she was following with my salad which was delish. Garlic knots came out hot and fresh! They were soooo good I could have ate the whole Basket. I think the owner was the one to deliver them and he was very personable and even got into a conversation with my youngest about kindergarten. Marinara was great! Ranch was great! The pizza... GUYS. The PIZZA. So good Fresh ingredients great cheese. The crust is the real winner here sooo flaky. I've never been to New York to compare it but if I ever do go I hope it lives up to this pizza.

The bread is amazing! This was after we ate atleast half of it!

Stopped by Alex's for the first time and this is a great place to eat. I think the owner is working the desk and extremely friendly. The food is amazing (the bread basket is to die for). Check out the picture below. Then to add to the fact that kids eat free on Tuesdays how can you say no!

We've been looking for good pizza close to home in the Alliance area. After reading some reviews we ordered online to pickup. I think it's fairly new and seemed clean when I walked in to pick it up. A little pricey for just a large "works" or supreme at $27. We also got a piece of cheesecake though. When you're ordering takeout or delivery pizza I'm always concerned about the pizza getting messed up. It was hot and in great shape when I got it. Ready to go when I got there too. Got it home quickly and it was still very warm. Our first bites I was pleasantly surprised. Good flavors and cooked well. Seemed like some of the ingredients were canned vs fresh. Still good flavors though. That turtle cheesecake was absolutely amazing! We'll definitely go back.

We ordered the calamari and the bread & ricotta. I really loved the bread & ricotta. Something always gets me about bread and cheese. The calamari was pretty good, I liked the addition of the olives, but overall it was a typical calamari dish. We also ordered the little gem salad to share. It was perfect because there were 4 gems for each of us. This was also decent. Nothing particularly memorable about this dish, but still good. We each ordered our own entree. Our friends ordered the vodka rigatoni and the lasagna bolognese. Hubby ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and I had the cacio e Pepe and added sausage. Pastas were cooked to the perfect al dente. There was so much meat in all our entrees. We each had a bite of each other's meals. I couldn't decide which one I liked best. They were all so very good and they all tasted different. I really love having foodie friends. And then we ended with dessert/after dinner drinks. Our friends got an affogato and an espresso martini. Hubby and I shared the pistachio cake. That pistachio cake is to die for. I don't want to over exaggerate because what if you decide to get it and you hate it? Well, I loved it. It wasn't too sweet and the salt flakes on top was perfection! It was so good with the affogato. 100% would get again.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!
