Not only was the breakfast good, but the service was excellent. To make things even better, though, I use a stainless steel straw, which I forgot. After I left, the young woman who had been my server literally ran after me to give me the straw back (then she ran back to the restaurant). Jordan Feed Mill has great Breakfasts. You can't go wrong with this one. I have not eaten lunch here but for years we go out for Breakfast and it's very good. I would recommend this if your in the Jordan area. My favorite is the cajun breakfast with smoked sausage( and it's not spicy I don't like spicy) and when they have the Tex Mex on special it is a must. both of these meals are enough for 2 meals for me unless you have a hungry mans appetite but even my husband and son can't finish all their meal. give it a try you won't be disappointed read more

Hands down most disgusting food in a long time. Incredibly rude service! Waitress was rude, impatient, rolled her eyes repeatedly and huffed and puffed about being overwhelmed over her 4 whole patrons in the entire restaurant. Potatoes boxed mashed, chicken could have been Banquet. Even my sons hot dog was gross! Some bantering between cook and waitress over not asking for preference on steak- so cook served the steak rare, we'd asked for Medium. When asked about items on menu waitress threw up her hands and said she couldn't tell us what was more popular. When asking about the potato selection she replied one was 'easier' for her. SO disappointed, the view is spectacular but I could NEVER go back. read more

Good luck! This place is so hit or miss with food including breakfast and lunch. You can also usually never get through to call them to order take out, and when you do, you are placed on hold for literally 10 minutes before you either give up or they remember you have been holding. You know your breakfast is always a busy time, so get more staff! This is not rocket science. We have continued to let things go for over a year, but the frustration is not worth the greasy, obnoxious food portions. We had tried to support the local small businesses but this is a joke and will have to go elsewhere. read more

Quick and easy breakfast!! Pancakes were excellent, bacon tasted smoky. The eggs were cheaply done but were ok. Biscuits and gravy were a slight failure to me. Not sure what meat they use but it appeared to be corned beef not sausage. read more

Stopped here on our way to Minnesota's largest candy store. Glad we did. Very friendly people and the food we had was very good. Husband and I had the biscuits and gravy. Very flavorful. Breakfast food is good in my opinion. Pancakes are great 8/10. Bacon is usually over cooked 5/10. Breakfast sandwich is good 7/10. Don't eat the weekend buffet 5/10. You will be disappointed. Dont ask to substitute anything, you will probably get punched in the mouth. Its good for what it is. Old town diner with a cool view of a river. Enjoy it but don't expect too much. Went for brunch with my family and the pancakes were huge and very good, the omelet and the hashbrowns were awesome. The portions were good. It was very refreshing to have great service also. Having the creek outside the windows is always nice. If traveling on 169 stop in for brunch but make sure to check when they are open. read more

I tried to order the Lumberjack with French Toast instead of pancakes but the waitress said no substitutions. I ended up with a 1/2 order of French toast. Middle of the road for quality. Food was delivered fast and hot. Server could have been more customer service oriented. I'd come back but be prepared for a fight. Not THAT bad but you get my point. Get the Pancakes! I have never been to this place while under the old ownership, but recently I went with the new owners and I have to say I am impressed with their breakfast. I love this place, I live a little far away but I beg my boyfriend to take me there when we have romantic breakfasts because I love the staff, the waitresses are so sweet and I feel like I know them a little and they remember their customers. The food is really great, I recomend any of their sandwhiches, their cake, or their french toast is amazing. It has a pretty view of the lake and the decorations that they put up for holidays personally makes me feel like I sitting in my grandmas kitchen again. Awesome place. Discovered this place about 6 weeks ago, when we made a trip to Jordan to go to Pekarna's meat market. The Feed Mill is across the street. The food, service and prices were so good, we've been back 3-4 times since then. The eggs benedict are the best I've had anywhere. Same with the hash browns - crispy, buttery, not overcooked. I've also had their omelets, and standard bacon and eggs, and everything was very good or exceptional. The portion sizes are generous, and the service has also been top-notch. If you're lucky enough to get a table by the "wall of windows" you can watch Sand Creek flowing by while you sip your coffee. It gets a little busy on Saturday and Sunday morning, so you might have to wait a short time, but the service is fast, and it's worth the wait. Easily my favorite "new" restaurant of 2016. read more

Sunday brunch was fantastic. Tons of food. Great selection. Servers were friendly and funny. Cool old building. The owner, Carl, was working away alongside his staff and was a great guy. Five of us ate at this restaurant recently. Food was good, but the waitress was the best part. She started out surly and went downhill from there. A few members of our party were actually afraid to order for fear they would do it wrong. The beverage refill experience alone was worth the visit - I'll leave that as a cliffhanger as not to spoil the surprise!
