Good food, cheerful, professional staff, attractive retro look, reasonable prices. What's not to like? Recently my adult son, adult daughter and I gathered for a weekday breakfast at this trendy place. In my experience the descriptor "trendy" often has a somewhat negative connotation. It can be associated with long lines, high prices, harried staff and mediocre food. IMHO none of those things are associated with The Breakfast Club. We started by sharing an order of Monkey Bread [ (roughly a cinnamon/caramel dough baked in a bundt pan (or at least something round and hollow)], topped with icing and with sections that one may tear off). A bit messy but overall a great start to the day. My son and daughter both ordered more conventional breakfasts and both were very pleased with their choices. I went with the Senor Borracho which I found flavorful and delicious. I love a good Huevos Rancheros and the Borracho is an interesting twist on the classic dish. Service was excellent. The coffee was decent and mugs were kept full. Noise didn't seem problematic. Parking could be an issue at times. read more

We knew we would be in the area around breakfast-time and looking for a spot for something new. The Breakfast Club came up and it was an excellent choice. The menu had some very eclectic choices. I would say pretty standrad breakfast choices with a lot of flair. I got an egg white omelet with jalapeño and buffalo cauliflower. I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was. I was struggling between that and the caramel apple french toast, to which our server said "you can get one slice". Ok done. I'm actually really glad I only had once slice because it was so sweet. My biggest disappointment was not having a non-pork meat option (other than impossible meat), but I can look past that. The space is like being transportes to the 80s. Bright colors. I loved the retro vibe of this place! I wish I could've tried one of the alcoholic bevs for brunch, but I was unfortunately unable to. I did have a latte though which was spectacular! They were pretty slammed for a Wednesday, but service was still pretty quick. I had a Cajun Hash which was delicious! I asked for my eggs over medium and they came too overdone (it would be 5 stars if my eggs were done right), but that's ok since the hash had a sauce that was great. A cool, colorful space! I went with some girlfriends for brunch. It was very fun and busy, though no wait on a Sunday! Plenty of street parking. The menu is sort of weird haha. It's fun but weird! I had a breakfast corndog and hash browns which were delicious. I also had the breakfast tacos which I wouldn't recommend - they were just normal tacos with eggs. The cocktails and coffee drinks were tasty. The prices were fine. Next time I would get something on the sweets menu. My date said that the coffee was good but that the Honey Lavender latte was very flavor-forward. The food was heavenly ; we got the Farm Boy and the Blueberry Cream Pancakes. Stopped by for a lovely Sunday meal. We got there early so it was mostly empty. Our server Jenny walked right up and got us started. I am not sure who she knew from one look that it was our first time, but she was spot on. She walked us through the menu and made sure we knew EVERYTHING could be made the way we liked. Holy wowza, this place is INCREDIBLE! If you're looking for a new local breakfast spot (or lunch) this is it!! They have such a unique menu I don't even know where to begin. What I can tell you is that this place gets BUSY. So if you're coming on a weekend plan for that. Also plan for parking because it can be difficult finding a spot to park especially when it's a weekend. Our wait time to get seated was an hour. We waited for 15-minutes before we decided to sit at the bar when another couple left. So our wait time at that point wasn't longer than 30/45 minutes. We were served by the Bar Staff and they were all awesome!! I loved how they worked as a team and gave their feedback on what was good and what they personally liked. They were awesome! We ended up ordering am appetizer to start, the Breakfast Egg Rolls which had bacon, cheddar, scrambled egg, potato, & green onion inside, and was served with sriracha mayo plus sweet thai chili on the side. Yum!! Definitely worth getting and would recommend anyone to try this app! For my main meal I got the Uptown Sunny Side which featured sourdough, ricotta cheese, avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, arugula, cherry tomato, sunny side egg, over easy egg, and more avocado on top with sweet reduced balsamic. I chose the fresh fruit as the side and it was actually fresh!! Tasted like they just cut it all up and wasn't soft or overly ripe, was perfect. My husband got the Jamaican Me Hungry dish and that was a large portion! It featured sweet corn cakes, carnitas, black beans, potatoes, cilantro, pineapple salsa, and jerk sauce. He finished it all but was stuffed for the rest of the night! The atmosphere is loud and energetic-- it's a fun time! Very nostalgic for those who grew up too with some of the decor. Very busy place on a Saturday! Waiting time wasn't bad for two people. However, if you have a big group, waiting time could go as long as an hour. Service was phenomenal; our server kept checking in on us multiple times. They have a few vegan options, but the menu is overwhelming meat heavy. I liked my fiesta hash, which is one of the vegan options. Avocado was fresh and everything was seasoned adequately. Iced latte is good, and I can tell the coffee is brewed well. Penchodilla was also really good. It comes with salsa verde and sour cream! Portions are generally big and definitely worth the price. I am not the biggest fan of the crepe flight because it was overly sweet for my liking. But the fruits that came as toppings were fresh. As you can tell by the outside, there is always a wait. You first put your name down and wait. They do give you a text when the table is ready. For my friend and I, the wait was tolerable. When it was our turn, we got seated at a table and went straight to ordering. I personally ordered the SEOUL FOOD. It was filled with carbs (rice)/protein (egg/bacon). It was actually quite filling. The kimchi was decently good. I enjoyed the sriracha mayo to bring the flavors altogether. I personally really enjoyed it. It wasn't bland at all and it had the spicy kick that I wanted. I had a great experience at this restaurant a couple weekends ago! We had Madalyn as our server and she was fabulous - super friendly and gave us great recommendations. I personally found the ambiance to be a little overwhelming especially because they had music blaring pretty loudly - definitely not a spot I would pick if I was really trying to catch up with someone  - but I would definitely come here again. They also had a DJ playing when we came which was kind of fun - but again pretty loud and very busy so a little hard to converse. I really liked the wide array of options that they offered on the menu and had a hard time picking just a couple items to try. The decor is also vibrant and colorful.  Vanilla Latte / Specialty Drink I really liked the vanilla latte we got here - it had good flavor and was a fine price - all you can ask of a latte really. We also tried one of their seasonal specialty 'mocktail' drinks which was a mix of pineapple juice, guava puree and sparkling water (among other things I can't fully recall). Overall that drink was mediocre - it sounded fun but ended up just tasting like pineapple juice - nothing else really came through which was a little bit of a bummer because it cost more than the latte. Breakfast Egg Rolls - 10/10 These were delicious - I really enjoyed eating them with the sweet thai chili sauce. On their own they weren't too dry which was one thing I was a little nervous of. Such a fun concept that I haven't seen before combining breakfast flavors in an egg roll. Jamaican Me Hungry - 8/10 I liked this dish a lot but felt the portion size was a little small for an entrée. I liked the combination of sweet and savory with the pineapple salsa/sweet corn cake and the carnitas. I felt like it could have been a little saucier because the corn cake was pretty thick and somewhat dry (as you might expect from a corn cake). S'mores Pancakes - 5/10 Visually very attractive but somewhat disappointing in application. I liked the flavor but all of the toppings were only on the top which left a pretty dry and plain bottom two pancakes. I also expected more toppings even for the top pancake - I felt there was a surprising lack of Nutella. Just too dry and too plain. Still good pancakes but not worth the price and a bit of a letdown in flavor. read more

Very cool retro vibe if you're into that Miami Vice/80's vibe. Not all the decor was 80s appropriate, but it's all appealing. The food is very good. I've had the Killer Cowboy Killer Hash Browns (all the meats and BBQ Sauce) and the sweet & spicy chicken sandwich. The The hash browns were easily like 3 normal meals. The chicken sandwich was barely crispy but tasty enough. We also tried a mimosa flight, on the of the chairs visits. I recommend the Blueberry Pomagranite & Peach Mango, the Cranberry (meh) and Pineapple (just not flavorful enough)were not as good. Service was fine, and luckily we didn't wait long either time (Saturday was fine since there were only two of us, lots of big groups waiting, a later Monday was good, as well). read more

This was our first visit. We came at 8:00 on a Sunday so while it wasn't packed it was still pretty busy given the early time. We got the Juan denver omelette, country hash and cajun hash. All were very good and had lots of flavor. Portion size was good as well. Do note the omelette and Cajun hash were fairly spicy. We did get a couple sides of toast as well. OBSESSED! What a fun and unique breakfast/brunch place! We loved the ambiance and unique decor combined with so many Instagramable moments. The fun 80's music really adds to the experience. My family and I loved the caramel lattes and monkey bread! For breakfast I ordered the Senior Borracho! As a Spanish speaker this translates to "the drunk man" which I thought was a cute and fun name for a menu item haha! This was one of the best meals I've had and included a pupusa topped with carnitas/pork, poached egg, salsa verde and cotija cheese! The service was inviting and friendly! Our waitress made sure to check in regularly and the staff was very warm and inviting. We cannot wait to dine here again! Cute photo opp in the waiting area, def an Insta moment. Often times a restaurant has either an amazing vibe or amazing food but not both, usually one is left to be desired. Not this place! We were seated quickly on the patio despite the line. Started with the mimosa flight and it was super pretty and the flavors, like guava mint, were on point. I had the chicken and biscuit which was a sandwich with scrambled egg too. And came with tater tots. Too good! Comfort food without being over the top heavy. I appreciated an option like that without gravy. Love that they have my fave sauces, Cholula and Cry Baby Craig's plus their own aioli sauces. Next time I want the chicken and waffles. My 2 time attending a Vikings vs Eagles (of course I am an Eagles fan #GoBirds), 1st time it was a blizzard. This time we were able to venture out and find the most awesome Breakfast spot. Be prepared for a line there was an hour wait time so we opted to sit at the bar. We made a great selection as the bar staff was awesome with their football themed shirts. They kept us laughing and the music selection was on point loud enough that I could sing and no one paid attention. The restaurant is energetic and busy but very comfortable and the food was DELICIOUS. I was a very healthy portion that we couldn't complete so we took it back to the hotel for a later snack which came in handy later that evening. I totally give the breakfast club 5 thumbs up and if you go and get my waitress (pic included) make sure you flow with her energy because she brings the joy! read more

My wife and I fell in love with this place while we were in Minnesota. First, the decor and music are amazing. You feel like you are transformed back in time. Everything was great this visit! We waited about half the time we were told to get a table (about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning). The food and drinks here were incredible. We ordered the mimosa flight, my favorite was the guava mango and my partner liked the strawberry. We tried the breakfast corndogs and they were delicious, topped with a strawberry syrup. I ordered the ponchodillas and my partner ordered the pancake sandwhich. They were both delicious and so filling! We had leftovers. Our server was super kind too! My only qualm was that the music was perhaps a little loud, but I tend to have that issue most places as I don't have great hearing. Let's start with the obvious, the food is 5/5 fantastic. I had an amazing s'more's hot chocolate and chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and served with a savory white gravy. the waffle was also tasty with syrup on the side. We got the breakfast sausage hot dogs for an app and they were yummy too. The vibes inside are fantastic. We got there just on time to be early enough that we didn't have to wait, but shortly after our arrival, there was a wait pretty much non-stop. And I can see why! As for service, that's where things got a little weird. Our server went through all the motions, but something was totally off about him. He very much gave the impression that he did not want to be there, and it was frankly off-putting.
