I loved the retro vibe of this place! I wish I could've tried one of the alcoholic bevs for brunch, but I was unfortunately unable to. I did have a latte though which was spectacular! They were pretty slammed for a Wednesday, but service was still pretty quick. I had a Cajun Hash which was delicious! I asked for my eggs over medium and they came too overdone (it would be 5 stars if my eggs were done right), but that's ok since the hash had a sauce that was great. Next time I come, I would want to try one of their benedicts!

Brunch at The Breakfast Club in Minneapolis never misses. I had the "Jamaican Me Hungry" and it was packed with flavor from start to finish. The sweet corn cakes were soft with just the right amount of sweetness, paired perfectly with the carnitas that were tender and well-seasoned. The black beans balanced everything out, and the pineapple salsa brought that bright, fresh pop that tied the whole plate together. The jerk sauce? Bold, smoky, and just the right level of heat without overpowering the dish. The atmosphere is always lively--good music, a steady brunch crowd, and that energetic weekend vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer than you planned. Staff was super sweet and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Definitely a go-to spot if you want brunch that's flavorful, filling, and full of personality.

Need more staff! Would have given 5 stars but the service was slow, I will say, it wasn't their fault the waiters were busting their butts but the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Only other negative was not alot of parking, it was all street parking and hard to find a spot. The food however was fabulous! So flavorful and so many unique creative options. Genuinely enjoyed this spot!

A cool, colorful space! I went with some girlfriends for brunch. It was very fun and busy, though no wait on a Sunday! Plenty of street parking. The menu is sort of weird haha. It's fun but weird! I had a breakfast corndog and hash browns which were delicious. I also had the breakfast tacos which I wouldn't recommend - they were just normal tacos with eggs. The cocktails and coffee drinks were tasty. The prices were fine. Next time I would get something on the sweets menu. Overall worth a visit for the fun vibes but wasn't my favorite breakfast in the area!

The Breakfast Club is an eighties-themed, family-friendly brunch spot. The atmosphere and is bright, colorful, and upbeat. They have eighties music videos and pop art decorating the walls. Our server, Jamie, was super friendly and attentive, as was the host. Great service all-around, and definitely a staff trained to provide family-friendly service. My date said that the coffee was good but that the Honey Lavender latte was very flavor-forward. The food was heavenly ; we got the Farm Boy and the Blueberry Cream Pancakes. The Breakfast Club isn't a place that relies on its branding to do all the heavy lifting. Highly recommend, whether you're looking for an adult brunch or family outing!

Stopped by for a lovely Sunday meal. We got there early so it was mostly empty. Our server Jenny walked right up and got us started. I am not sure who she knew from one look that it was our first time, but she was spot on. She walked us through the menu and made sure we knew EVERYTHING could be made the way we liked. I was exited they had Just Egg in the menu and got the chicken fried steak, It was incredible. I loved every bite. The 90's mucus made a great vibe. Lots of drink options.

This place has it all - fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! We were looking for a place with music for brunch and this place popped up. So glad we jumped on it! We sat at that bar as there were only two of us and the bar team was super attentive and had really great recommendations for food and drinks. We loved the "you can get this everywhere" options for both too! We started with the mimosa flight - don't sleep on the guava mint - and monkey bread. For mains I had the Senior Barracho and my husband had the Jamaican me Hungry - both were delicious! We will be back!

Super cute place for breakfast in the Minneapolis area! The 80s style pop deco decor is matched with music from the decade. Our server Abigail was attentive, friendly and helpful. Food came out very fast and was good. There are lots of interesting items on the menu both food and drink. We tried the crepe flight and chicken and waffles, both of which were solid. Enjoyed our breakfast experience here! (4* for food, 5*for service and ambiance )

We had such a good time at our last visit, we came again and had an equally good time. Our server, Rilee, was attentive and hit all the right notes. We sampled the peach mango mega-mosa (25 oz mimosa), Hash Sticks (deep fried hash browns with cheese, bacon, green onions and cheese), Breakfast Egg Rolls (bacon, scrambled egg, cheese, green onions filling), and Breakfast Club sandwich. The ginormous mimosa is festive and an experience with the cotton candy, rock candy, and glitter garnishes. The egg roll is delicious and a unique combination of breakfast fare. I love the bright colors, music videos, and music from yesteryear.

Our server Bree was a pure delight. The food was delicious and filling. The chicken was juicy and seasoned to perfection. The entire restaurant is a photo op.

Holy wowza, this place is INCREDIBLE! If you're looking for a new local breakfast spot (or lunch) this is it!! They have such a unique menu I don't even know where to begin. What I can tell you is that this place gets BUSY. So if you're coming on a weekend plan for that. Also plan for parking because it can be difficult finding a spot to park especially when it's a weekend. Our wait time to get seated was an hour. We waited for 15-minutes before we decided to sit at the bar when another couple left. So our wait time at that point wasn't longer than 30/45 minutes. We were served by the Bar Staff and they were all awesome!! I loved how they worked as a team and gave their feedback on what was good and what they personally liked. They were awesome! We ended up ordering am appetizer to start, the Breakfast Egg Rolls which had bacon, cheddar, scrambled egg, potato, & green onion inside, and was served with sriracha mayo plus sweet thai chili on the side. Yum!! Definitely worth getting and would recommend anyone to try this app! For my main meal I got the Uptown Sunny Side which featured sourdough, ricotta cheese, avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, arugula, cherry tomato, sunny side egg, over easy egg, and more avocado on top with sweet reduced balsamic. I chose the fresh fruit as the side and it was actually fresh!! Tasted like they just cut it all up and wasn't soft or overly ripe, was perfect. My husband got the Jamaican Me Hungry dish and that was a large portion! It featured sweet corn cakes, carnitas, black beans, potatoes, cilantro, pineapple salsa, and jerk sauce. He finished it all but was stuffed for the rest of the night! The atmosphere is loud and energetic-- it's a fun time! Very nostalgic for those who grew up too with some of the decor. I also loved the comic decor and cute picture seat when you enter!! I'll be back to The Breakfast Club to try other menu items soon!

Hot Dang! This one is a winner! If you are a fan of the 80's this is more than breakfast, it's an experience. Abigail deserves a "shout-out" she took such good care of us. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. Pay attention as the options have been developed with thought and care for every flavor. The problem is that then you will have to choose one! The decor is as bright as Abigail's smile. It was a Friday so no DJ but it was so fun to watch the 80's music videos.

Very busy place on a Saturday! Waiting time wasn't bad for two people. However, if you have a big group, waiting time could go as long as an hour. Service was phenomenal; our server kept checking in on us multiple times. They have a few vegan options, but the menu is overwhelming meat heavy. I liked my fiesta hash, which is one of the vegan options. Avocado was fresh and everything was seasoned adequately. Iced latte is good, and I can tell the coffee is brewed well. Penchodilla was also really good. It comes with salsa verde and sour cream! Portions are generally big and definitely worth the price. I am not the biggest fan of the crepe flight because it was overly sweet for my liking. But the fruits that came as toppings were fresh. You could barely taste the crepe because of the combination of all the sweet flavors. We liked the vibes of the place, and it makes you feel like you're in Southern California. Very lively, fast-paced and family friendly :)

I came here a few days ago during their "crabby hour" from 8-10 pm and we all each ordered our set of a truffle fries, a Granada slider, and a mahi mahi taco. The fries were incredible. They were super crispy, cooked perfectly and I love truffle with fries. The best part however was the aioli that came paired with it. It had a citrusy, umami flavor that was just so incredible I would have taken a whole jar home if I was able to. Absolutely perfect and can make any dish. The Granada slider was also awesome. It was bigger than I expected and included that wonderful aioli again, along with some greens, the patty, manchego cheese, and bacon. It was delicious and once again that aioli is just perfect and it was a much larger amount of food than I was expecting. I also had the mahi mahi taco as well which was good, but not my favorite. My face often compels people to vacate crowded establishments in Minneapolis, and we often find seats. After grabbing the two seats, we ordered wine and a wonderful Amaro-based cocktail. Jules was our bartender/server, and although he was crazy busy, he found time to be gracious to us. We ordered the meatball appetizer, halibut, and the Nightingale hamburger. My halibut was sublime, cooked perfectly, and it wasn't drowned in sauce. Bravo! The meatballs were tender and delicious, but the hamburger was not memorable. It was good, not great. Despite all the accolades above, when the bill came, I was charged two dollars after requesting a cucumber slice for my Pimms Cup. Perhaps the source of this pettiness came from the kitchen, but it wasn't smart, because the $2.00 charge placed a shroud over my experience. The bill was $125, and because of the petty two-buck charge, I only left a $25 tip. I was going to leave a $30 tip. I will sadly remember those 2 bucks forever. Once your "night vision" kicks in you're surrounded by a nice bar, numerous bistro-style tables and booths. Candles adorn the tables creating a nice, cozy place to settle in for drinks. Once seated in comfortable chairs at a table, we were quickly greeted and provided with menus. The cocktail selection is relatively "small" but really nicely varied. Prices seemed a tad steep but frankly, given the quality of the drinks I'd say quite worth it. I started out with the Evita, a nice flavorful gin-base cocktail topped with a nice egg white foam. Very tasty. My wife opted for the Tapaculo, with gin, mezcal, pineapple, banana and bitters over ice. Also quite good. There are also bites available from the associated restaurant I can't recall the name of mine but I can say it was delicious. Bread-like bites with a really tasty dipping sauce. To close out the visit I selected Palo, a smoked aged rum cocktail that was really nice and rich. My wife chose the Nahualito with rum, walnut, amontillado and white chocolate. All should be on your radar. Flora Room really fit the bill for a nice, intimate speakeasy-style spot to spend time. Dark and cozy. Savory cocktails and friendly service will stand out and make you want to return. I know we'll seek it out if we return to Minneapolis again. I hope so.

Our booth was comfortable and felt cozy. We had some snacks and drinks. The fries came out pipping hot (burned my fingers) and we ordered extra sauce for the second round because they were delicious. I also really liked the empanadas- they were filling with a nice amount of sauce. Two of our group also enjoyed they oysters (with optional add-on caviar). The bartender was able to customize my espresso martini to my taste (I like it creamy- I know, controversial). I will definitely be going back!

I would give them a 8.5/10 The Empanadas were SOOOO good. I'd give them a 9/10 Now to the entrees... dun dun dun So my wife and I ordered the Spaghetti Fra Diavolo it was very very good, it has a little kick but not overly spicy very good balance. I would highly recommend, I can see why it's one of the most ordered items on the menu! I'll add some courtesy bread to go with the pasta 8/10 Overall food experience 9.1/10 The atmosphere was great, lots of windows which lets a lot of light in but at night maybe hard to see inside. Overall atmospheric experience 9/10 Service was good had no complaints and even gave us free desert for my wife's birthday. 9.5/10

Martina is an ace with its bold flavored Argentinian cuisine and relaxing atmosphere. We dined on the patio, but whether you are seated inside or out, the ambiance is adorned with green plants, natural wood, and clean lines for a modern aesthetic that pleases today's diner. The food was a pleasure. The secret to the bold flavors is in the sauce. We started with an order of the grilled bread and a dozen oysters. I'll never say no to raw oysters (even on some occasions when I should have), but these were a great experience. The vinegar sauce served with these was a unique version that when paired with a dash of the shredded horseradish and a squeeze of lemon juice, the oysters were a punch of zingy perfection. The salted, vinegar infused butter that came with the bread elevated the dish. I chose the halibut for my entree and it was lovely (halibut is a win in any format). However, I would highly recommend the ribeye. My son got that and I sampled a piece with the accompanying chimichuri sauce and it was heavenly. The oils chosen to create that sauce were very well thought out so it made for not-your-typical ribeye and lent itself to something flavorfully unique. We want to return! Putting this on our list of faves when in Minneapolis/St Paul.
