I also doubt that I had cavities as I am now aware that I am not cavity prone and had never been told I had a cavity before seeing this dentist. Even after a 2 year mission and in the 3 years since then I have not had a cavity. Dr Sorensen also botched a dental implant on me which led to me needing a bone graft right before I left on my mission, I then had to get a flipped last second before I left. This lead to issues with my bite and having to get braces for a second time when I got home. Do not go to this dentist, he is not honest.

I have had fillings fall out, they have had to re do their own poor work, we did several rounds of Invisalign lingers which ruined my natural bite reduced my lower mouth space and has caused me to constantly repetitively bite my tongue which has caused me a lot of pain in the three years sense we did the Invisalign. I HAVE NEVER HAD LESS CONFIDENCE IN MY SMILE. In my last 4 visits combine the "Doctors" have spent a total of less than 15 minutes conversing with me about my concerns and even when I raised my concerns I was told he didn't have time to spend on me because he had to get back to a procedure that was scheduled during MY APPOINTMENT SLOT. They have also ruined my husbands mouth. They have cut in to his gums so many times and HAVE CAUSED SO MUCH INFECTION AND PAIN and destroyed his gum lines to the point he now requires reconstructive gum surgery, he has also had to have fillings redone because the sub par filling materials they use at this facility are defective, and The last straw was on my last visit they made me wait in the waiting room for 25 minutes after my appointment time because again Main "Doctor" had scheduled a procedure DURING "surgery" MY APPOINT SLOT. NONE OF THEM IN THE ENTIRE OFFICE VALUE NORE RESPECT THEIR CLIENTS TIME NORE DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE WELLNESS OR THEIR PATIENTS. We have been loyal patients ever since. As a family, we make the 360 mile round trip for our checkups twice a year, and it is worth it. There is a dental office next door. Check them out before coming here. I made the greatest mistake of having them do some extensive work. Both times it was a disaster. Now, I'm in the process of paying more money to get it fixed. If you have options, I encourage you to look into those options before stepping foot into this establishment. UPDATE: please read their response. I had given this establishment the opportunity to correct their error with an extensive procedure of fixing my front tooth bite. During the procedure he shaved my tooth to fit the bite. However, I now have a gap in my bite and air pockets. I had contacted them a week after the procedure in July 2025. It took a month to get a reply. I then took it upon myself to check with another provider on what I see and his thoughts. The provider stated the work completed was far less than par. In order to fix this, it will cost me $8K out of pocket because Genesis has exhausted my dental benefits and will not reimburse me or fix this issue. This is the second time I had this exact issue with them. I trusted them to not make the same mistakes. I used loyalty and blinded my instincts. I should have listened to my intuition considering Dr.Foltz's has never made me feel comfortable or accepted during my annual checkups. I assumed it was me. However, with the statements below, my instincts were correct. Dr. Foltz doesn't genuinely care about his patients. If he did, he would have at least made an effort. Instead he excused my genuine concerns and told me to never come back. Please note that that my daughters and I have been a patients of Genesis dental for many years. If Dr.Foltz felt that he was inexperienced or uncomfortable with these types of procedures, then the proper steps would be for him to refer to another dentist. I double down on this location, do not come here. They will treat you just the same. Their dental technicians are fresh out of dental school and there are going to be mistakes that they are unwilling to correct. Also, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until after you see the work. Genesis dental advised me to sign a form stating I was satisfied with the work in an email PRIOR to my appointment and another form while waiting in the office.
