All for one hourly rate. Plus the knowledge and assistance from the Wingman himself, Aaron! It was an amazing coincidence that I found this place just when I needed it. I'm on a cross-country road trip having logged 13,000 miles and carrying some parts with me that I didn't have time to install before leaving. No automotive repair shop is going to accept customer supplied parts so finding Wingman was perfect. I happened to be visiting a friend in the area and told him of my dilemma and to my great surprise he said there's place nearby that's just what you need and he was right. The place is fully equipped, clean and available by appointment only so there's no waiting around or guessing when to go. I had a great experience there, got guidance on things I wasn't familiar with and hands on assistance by the Wingman and I really needed and appreciated that. I think all that for $40 an hour is a real good deal. Like he says no one wrenches alone. For this DIYer with an old Subaru Bugeye WRX, that is a labor of love, it doesn't get any better than this. First, the place was safe, Aaron (the owner) seems to take this seriously which is a must when walking under 3 thousand pounds of car. Second, it was clean and organized but setup like a DIYer would. The tools were in good working order and easy to locate. Third, it wasn't awkward or weird, it is a car place for car guys. Aaron made it comfortable to work alongside other guys in other bays. I was in and out with a quick oil change but I'm already planning more serious work here even if it doesn't require a lift, it's nice not to be squeezed in a two car garage plus was nice having other car guys around. If you are like me and wondering if it's worth it or kicking around giving it a try - my only regret is not doing so sooner.

Email stated someone would be in contact with me in one business day to 25 hours. 2 days later no reply. I called the 3rd day and asked about my appointment I put in for an they had no answer as to why no one contacted me. No big deal I get it. My problem is with the next part of this story. I set an appointment over the phone, show up for appointment. They had the tires I requested in stock at a fair price. I asked for an alignment since I always get an alignment with any new set of tires. I get informed my truck is done and ready. Awesome, the guy rights up the work order an I pay the bill. The full bill for tires and the alignment. After which I get informed that they couldn't do the alignment an that I need ball joints and rear control arms. This would of been very important info to have before paying. Now they have to refund me my money for the alignment they could not be performed. I'm asked next if I would like a price quote for the repairs. At this point absolutely not. You can't inform me before finishing my vehicle that I need repairs an that you can't do the alignment? But you'll gladly charge me for it before reviewing your paper work. Needless to say I left livid. Once cooled off I walked around the truck at home to inspect the tires. Found all four my wheel covers destroyed, scratches, and cracks! You can see where they over tighten the outer wheel balancing nut into my rims and completely ruined all 4 of my rims. Unbelievable!!! I absolutely can not believe this place gets away with this kind of work. I've heard very high things about them. All of which is a lie. Stay far away from this place if you value your vehicle.

The next morning, I was trying to find a place that could come tow it or put air in so I could drive it to be fixed, since that service was covered by our insurance. I called McCall's, and the call was sent to voicemail. While I was talking with my brother about the tire over the phone, I got a call back from Bill McCall. I returned the call, and he said they could come put air in it. When Jeff arrived less than 15 minutes later, he surprised me by saying HE would take the car to the shop, leave his truck at my house, and then bring my car back when they were finished. I thought that was pretty awesome, but they topped themselves by bringing it back and saying "no charge"!They also turned the tire around, because it had a noticeable mark on the tire from where I drove it flat. I was blown away!! Where on earth do you get that kind of service these days? So glad I went with a local company. They've been in the same spot for so long, they have to be doing things right or the business wouldn't have lasted.
