When I moved to NE Ohio 25 year's ago, there were two things I did immediately to give me peace of mind; find a good doctor and good car mechanic. Not only did I find both, but great ones at that! One day I went to have a standard oil change at one of the many lube stops that frequent the landscape, and later learned they had over torqued the steel oil pan screw and stripped the aluminum pan's threads. Needless to say I had big problem. I went back and the shop denied the damage and so found myself at a Honda dealership that promptly told me it would cost $1200 to replace! I was in a panic as I had nowhere that kind of money, and had to have my car to get to work. I asked around and my VP told me about Plevris. When I showed up, Mike, the owner personally greeted me and showed me the issue. He then said he could replace it, but since I was on a budget, he could fabricate a brass shim and see how long it would last. That small piece of metal lasted 2 years, and when I finally had to replace the oil pan, Mike found a used one and had it installed for $200! Not only did this simple fix save me from an enormous up front bill, it gained a customer for life! Over the years, Mike and his talented team have repaired my family's numerous vehicles, and not once did I feel cheated or mistreated. I have been driven to work after dropping my car off, picked up, and even allowed to borrow cars, all to accommodate me. I cannot speak for his other customers, but it would not surprise me if they received the same courtesy. Mike is a very rare find. In fact, this honest and ethical man honors his customers once a year with a Greek BBQ (full lamb on a spit) as a way of saying "Thank You" for your business! Good luck finding parking on that day! DO NOT TAKE A GERMAN CAR HERE - OR ANY CAR FOR THAT MATTER. PLEASE READ. So my check engine light popped on my 2014 Audi a5, a friend of mine recommended this place. I bring it in and they have it for SEVEN WEEKS, but that is just the beginning. Lord knows what they really did to it but I end up taking it back with the check engine light still on, and Mike (owner) has the audacity to try to charge me full price, which was about 3500 bucks if I recall correctly. He is the owner of the shop, told me he had the best guy on it, but was talking about my car like it was alien technology. IT WAS A TEN YEAR OLD MASS PRODUCED VEHICLE, not some formula 1 car. Anyway I ended up paying 1500 for the "parts" or whatever, Mike convinced me it was fine to drive on, but boom 5k miles later I get complete engine failure. For the love of God do not make the same mistake I did of thinking these guys know wtf they are doing. read more

Went here will wife's car leaking oil caused by me. Leaking small drops all over my drive way. Took car to Goodyear at Summit Mall, I was told that they did not want to deal with it as I had broken a bolt. I took it here hoping to keep the bill under 1000 for oil pan replacement and extraction of a broken extraction tool. They call me and say that it has oil all over the engine and they could not determine where the oil is coming from and that they need to clean the engine off and then run it to see where fresh oil is leaking from. Goodyear quoted a hour and a half for this they did it in 30 minutes. After they clean the engine and tighten down all the bolts snuggly I now have no oil leak total bill was $43 basically for labor seem very trustworthy I'm going to try them again but as of now I would recommend them to anybody the fact that they have tons of cars in the parking lot being worked on and tells me that business is good and that people trust them if a car repair shop can get you win same day that tells me that business is slow because people either don't trust them or their prices are too high. Edit: car still dripping oil and was told it was tranny fluid. Don't know if they don't want to fix or if their not caring. Either way upset read more

Around labor day took 3 weeks to get my car back. Attendant first admitted they got swamped on labor day weekend. Then a part order delay on to second week. Quality of work was fine but dinged 2 stars for 3 weeks they had my car because in my opinion they did do job on older car, but it was quite a wait. read more

Was driving on rt 21 on my was to work and my low tire light came on and it was going low very quickly I pulled in and asked for some to help me put air in the tire loooked at it and I had a hole in the tire they fixed it in less than 10 min service was excellent! Thank you ! Made it to work on time and had a few minutes to spare. read more

I think these guys are great. My family has been using them for years and they treat us very well. I have recently had both my cars worked on there and both came in under budget.... As for the time it takes to get the job done... Keep in mind that when you're dealing with a good company... They have lots of business... So it may take a little longer but well worth it. dropped off a step van that needed serious work. One other large repair facility estimated $2200.00, with 5 to 6 days. Plevis called within 3 hours to order steering shaft. u joints, plugs and something called rheostats for each cylinder. They also looked after a few minor things that needed attention on the aluminum body. The parts alone, on line from rock auto, where over $900. The steering shaft had to come from Ford. That was over $355.00 The total bill was $1562.00 They told me there would be other things that need looked after, but as of pick up it was safe to drive. That was the primary concern for the driver. Drives about 70% better, with about an extra 3 mpg. The old plugs were really toast, and the steering column and u joints were also terrible. I knew this when I bought the truck. The repairs were less than expected, completed on time with an in depth explanation of might need to be considered in the near future. Joe M Massillon read more

Really disappointed ! Mike said he would have it done in a few days, it took 2 weeks then he did repairs I did NOT authorize. I picked up the car after he said it was running perfectly and it was not. Thirty years ago this place was good but not anymore. Stay AWAY!!!!! Only go here if you want to spend more than you agreed to and don't need your car anytime soon. read more

Only come here if you're willing to pay more than you agreed and wait longer than you expected. Never bring a European model here. They neither like them, nor understand how to fix them. They have broken parts on my car before and attempted to glue them back together, hoping I wouldn't notice. read more
