He took the time to evaluate my car AND show me what needed to be done. He went above and beyond to help me find the parts I needed. I needed gaskets for my exhaust. I left the shop after the diagnostic in search of the parts. Took the parts back the same day and my car was on the rack within 30 mins. The repair took about another 30 mins. Pricing? REASONABLE and AFFORDABLE! I had to ask him twice for the price bc I couldn't believe it. Car came off the rack acting brand new. They have earned a lifetime customer. So my sister was referred to this place by the local Toyota dealer after finding out she possibly needed a new catalytic converter due to a rattle. The dealer est. was 2K. So they suggested shopping aftermarket and this place was popular. After they checked her truck out for the noise it was found to be a simple exhaust shield next to catalytic converter and not the actual converter. They tightened it. And gave her back the truck " no charge". That's amazing! They could have charged her 1K then tightened rattling shield and she wouldn't have know the difference but that's not how they operate here. It's not often that people jump on Yelp to write good reviews of auto repair shops. I dropped off my car for muffler work probably 20 minutes before close for the day, with my wife on the way to pick me up, fully expecting to pick it up in a day or two. With no wait at all, the guys had me pull the car into the garage, and lifted it up. They told me it should be ready in a few minutes, as they just needed to replace a clamp, and just as they stated it was ready in literally just a few minutes. When I went to pay for the repairs, they told me "don't worry about it, just remember us next time you need muffler work." I couldn't believe it! This place is awesome. Worth its weight in gold. Went to fix a screw-up (no pun intended) - was drilling out a seized license plate bolt when the drill bit broke. Yikes! Figured I'd drive down the road to the muffler shop...worst they might say is no. Better than me sitting there all day with a dremel bit. Not this place! "Give me 5 minutes" is their motto, I swear. Amazing people, very generous prices, and HONEST. Can't say that about most shops. A few minutes later with an air chisel, the license plate is in and they even bolted it in for me. I am actually writing this from Denver, sad that Ritzman Muffler is not out here. I recently moved from the Akron, OH area. Have taken both of my cars here. Was quoted about $200 less here than my other relatively inexpensive mechanic! In fact on one occasion I brought my '99 Honda Civic in and they welded it, I asked them how much it would cost and they said...zero! This is a true story! My other mechanic quoted $200! They said, there were no new parts so no need to charge, brilliant marketing plan. I think the most I have waited when here is about 15 minutes total. My wife's car suddenly got really loud, as in "time for a new muffler". I've been ripped off by Muffler chains before, so I was very concerned about finding a service provider who would treat me fairly. I contacted my mechanic and asked for his recommendation. He told me he sends his customers to Ritzmans. I took my wife's car, expecting to have to leave it for a day. They put it up on the lift, and within 90 seconds, they started fixing the issue. It turned out to be a loose weld, which they fixed within 10 minutes. I asked for the charge and they said, "just come see us when you need a new muffler". Needless to say they can count on that. My recommendation? If you need exhaust repair work, and are looking for someone to treat you fairly and honestly, you can't go any better than Ritzman's. They are the best. read more

I am SO happy I took my car here! My car started making a loud noise, and I took it to Sears Auto for an estimate...in the past, I've liked them. They told me my flex pipe had a hole it in and gave me an estimate for $471 to get a new flex pipe and catalytic converter installed. I did not have the money to spare on this, so I took it to Ritzman, and they told me they could cut out the flex pipe and replace it for $100. It took about 20 minutes and I was on my way without spending $371 extra. I was SO thrilled that they saved me so much money.
