The staff at Edgerton and Glenn were so considerate, thoughtful, and caring- You feel like family when you are in their care. Taylor Glenn came in, examined my mother, and explained everything we needed to address. She presented us with our best options. Even though Edgerton and Glenn said they were not able to help my mother personally, Doctor Glenn promised to reach out to some fellow colleagues so together we could get the best care for my mother. I am currently waiting to hear something back and looking forward to my mother being able to take care of her dental issues. Thank you Taylor Glenn and staff for all your time and effort to make sure my mother is going to be healthy. Thank you for helping me make sure she has some teeth so she doesn't choke and die while she is trying to eat.

I had the worst looking teeth before hand. Now I have a beautiful smile. People in grocery stores compliment my teeth often. He exceeded not only my expectations, he surpassed my hopes. This is as close to dental perfection as it gets. 1. I have always been afraid of the Dentist's chair. Dr. Li absolutely destroyed my Dental-phobia with his amazingly calm, compassionate and kind demeanor. I'm not afraid anymore and I look forward to my visits because of the way I am treated. 2. I had a full set of titanium implants, because I just didn't take care of my teeth. But I never once was shamed for that. Instead, I was educated. He included me whenever possible. We devised a process (I say 'we' because Dr. Li works WITH patients. Making patients a part of the team gives us agency, and there is very authentic unity) and Dr. Li was very clear about what I could expect. For me, the process took longer, because I had an overbite. Many other Dentists might have just taken the quick way, but Dr. Li is so gifted, so talented and passionate about his profession that he invested a great deal of time to get my occlusion (that's the science of how the top and bottom teeth fit together) corrected. This choice prevented damage to my TMJ, and the process was custom-tailored to my needs. I was not really hopeful at first. That very quickly changed. Fifteen seconds into our first meeting, in fact. 3. I'm an Industrial Designer. Because of this, I can tell you that the Coastal Smiles instrumentation and technology is absolutely state of the art. This is important, because recent developments have made it possible to increase precision and make the patient's experience more comfortable. 4. Dr. Li is a wonderful dentist and a good human being. Titanium implants are a life-changing investment, and the dentist and his team made the best choices. The entire process was built around my best interests, to achieve the best outcome, and Dr. Li was very patient and kind in answering my questions. At one point, I was feeling like I was being annoying by asking about everything because I'm just an overthinking, sometimes easily made anxious person. But I told him honestly that I was fascinated by the art and science of dentistry and my questions were from a place of wanting to learn, a place of intellectual interest, and not because I doubted his clinical acumen or abilities. He immediately lit up with the kind of passion for his calling that every patient would hope to see. He is quite simply the finest dental surgeon I have ever encountered, and he answered all of my questions with kindness and interest. He never talked down to me. He earned my trust very early on, and his integrity and commitment are unimpeachable. 5. I got so much more out of this experience than I ever expected. Dr. Li and I developed a friendship based on mutual respect and, while he is clearly the professional here, we were and always will be in sort of surgeon-patient partnership. This is good, because it motivates patients to do our part in maintaining our health. I not only got a great dentist and beautiful new smile out of this, I made a new friend! 6. His staff are absolutely the best in the business. I was greeted with kindness and hugs, every time. We all know one another by name, and we have all become friends. That's a rare and beautiful thing. 7. Dr. Li made it a priority to monitor and manage any potential pain. Other than the injections of the anesthetic, there was no pain during any procedure. There are televisions mounted on the ceiling in case a patient could benefit from having something to take their mind off of the work being done, but I was fascinated by everything. Dr. Li's skill made me so interested in what he was doing. His skill and his technique are unsurpassed, and the materials are top-of-the-line. In short, he made certain to deliver the best care possible, and constantly checked to make sure I was appropriately anesthetized. 8. The team is very organized, kind, and capable. I would arrive at an appointment and over the course of two plus years, I NEVER HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN 5 MINUTES TO BE TAKEN BACK AND SEEN. 9. Dr. Li has a system set up for out-of-office-hours emergencies, and returns calls within minutes. You won't find a better, more committed dental surgeon anywhere than in Dr. Collin Li. They have two locations. One on Carolina Beach, and one in front of Best Buy. This is so convenient. It's also nice that his office is next door to Starbucks and a wonderful cookie and pie bakery!

After having 6 month smile which really turned into 2 1/2 years of braces and nothing but problems with my teeth after I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR LEE . My filling came off from a chip in my front tooth and he said he couldn't see it and it didn't need fixed . Which is ridiculous bc YES you can see it and the young boy who is working with him said I didn't even have to show him what tooth because he could see it . On top of denying ( basically bc he probably didn't know what to do with it ) I got charged for a "exam" . That's interesting because I was there for 10 mins and there was zero examination done . More like a consultation. I guess I should just be happy that I paid for him not to mess my teeth up anymore than he already has !

From reception, to the technician I interacted with, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated that I was seen close to the scheduled time and never felt rushed. Once the technician brought me back, I went through a quick X-ray and was led into the exam room. The room was clean, organized and comfortable. Again, within minutes, the dental hygienist arrived and started her routine. I'm very particular about following up with dental care and exams. I floss and brush frequently, and take pride in my teeth. Nevertheless, this dental hygienist took her time, and was extremely detailed in checking the health of my teeth, and even better, she was meticulous with a very detailed cleaning! I can say that in all my years, she is most definitely the best Dental Hygienist I've ever had! Great job! Next, I was welcomed to the practice by a super down to earth and friendly dentist: Dr. Panchal. We went over any concerns and and oral history, and, of course, he studied all of the X-rays taken. He proceed with the oral exam. Dr. Panchal patiently explained his findings and discussed his recommendation, treatment plan, and timeline. I'm pleased to say that my first visit was above average! From professionalism, welcoming and very clean environment, detailed staff, everything was perfect! Dr. Panchal has a great personality and I can see how he sets a wonderful standard which staff fallows. His wit, and lack of pretense were great, and even better: his knowledge, his ability to put the patient at ease, and his communication skills were wonderful! So, if like many, you're nervous about going to the dentist, I strongly recommend that you give office a chance. They are fantastic and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!! Nice job, everybody! A clean and comfy reception area where I feel like I am at a well loved home, where care was taken with the decor to give patients a relaxing and welcoming experience, not a feeling of being a product in an assembly line like at other dental practices. 2. A receptionist who smiled and made eye contact, politely asked the necessary information, and remained pleasant for duration-this is important because it is lacking at dental offices where front office employees often act as if patients were a chore. 3. A competent, thorough dental professional named Andrea, who did probably the best dental cleaning I have ever had. 4. Dr. Miles greeted me, checked work done, and even referred me to a dermatologist for treatment of a growth she noticed on my skin. I live at walking distance from two dental practices in the area. I was a patient at both. I prefer to drive 15 minutes to Dr. MIles' office. If anyone is going to invade my body by placing their fingers in my mouth, I need to feel that I can trust that person. Not to mention I am in my 20's and have a lot of life to go in my teeth. In 2024/2025 she had told me I had some very small cavities starting and she recommended fillings to prevent any worsening. Since those fillings I have had nothing but issues. Not only did she crack my teeth she caused extreme sensitivity and I am now up to $8,000 worth of dental work done to fix her mistakes. She knew she messed up and tried to have her daughter fix her mistakes but not even that could do it! She cracked my teeth when doing the fillings and then sent me home. I then noticed and called and told her what she did. She supposedly "fixed" them but can confirm that did not happen based on a second opinion. She did poor fillings and I am still having to have hers removed and fixed. Not to mention she completely messed up the crown of my implant creating a large food gap. Most dentist would redo the crown until it's right but not her I was told "you'll just always have to have floss" EVERY piece of work she has done I am having to have fixed. I am having to have a new crown made and placed on my implant because hers was horrible, I am having to have all her fillings removed and replaced because it's "terrible" work. Having to have my bite fixed because of her TERRIBLE TERRIBLE WORK! I went back several times telling her something was wrong but was always brushed under the rug and told to use sensitive toothpaste. Turns out shes just a horrible doctor and doesn't want to fix her mistakes. She messed my mouth up so bad she couldn't even fix it. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! I've been having to have her mistakes fixed since I left this practice and I'm still dealing with issues she created. Leave while you can because you will end up paying for it in the long run. When she retires you will be having to have your mouth fixed! Horrible dentistry work clearly she had no idea what she was doing
