I've have three children we trusted Dr Jorgensen with orthodontic care. They are grown adults. One in NM, one in AZ and one in TX, they now are having so much trouble with the permanent retainers required by Dr Jorgensen. All the dentists they've seen don't understand the reasoning behind this decision! All of my children have had extra expenses because of this! I absolutely do not recommend this office. I had my braces removed in January 2024 and fully paid off my out-of-pocket balance by April 2024. Over a year later, in July 2025, I suddenly received a letter stating I still owed a balance of $582 -- supposedly the portion that should have been handled by insurance. I want to note that up until this point, my experience with the office had been good. The staff was professional during my treatment, and I left satisfied when my braces came off. Unfortunately, everything since then has completely changed my opinion. I immediately contacted both MetLife and the orthodontist's office, and since then, I've been going through hoops trying to get an explanation. What bothers me most is that this balance is only being brought to my attention a year and a half later, long after my treatment ended and my account was paid in full on my end. This delay feels extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, in August 2025, I received another letter from their office that included another patient's personal information along with mine. This is a major privacy concern and shows a complete lack of care in handling patient records. Now, I'm left trying to figure out how to cover a balance that I was never made aware of during or shortly after treatment, while also questioning how securely my own information has been managed. Regardless of where the miscommunication lies, the way this was handled reflects poorly on the office's professionalism, transparency, and respect for patient privacy. read more

Dr. Jorgensen and his staff are amazing! I've gone here since I was seven-years-old and I've always been satisfied with everything they've done for me. I am incredibly happy with the outcome of my teeth. Also whenever a complication occurs such as a broken retainer, wires sticking out, the staff is super helpful in which they will come in to take care of the problem. Finally, Dr. Jorgensen is very professional and super friendly too! He is a master of his craft and makes sure that all his patients are satisfied. My experience at Dr. Jorgensen's office was superior. Very beautiful office and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The consultation experience was very thorough and well organized and I got my braces on the same day. I can't write a review concerning Dr. Jorgensen in terms of straightening teeth, but I was his patient for other reasons. I played football for Cibola High School, and Dr. Jorgensen provided for the entire football team, all four years I went there, with the highest quality mouth guards for free. Let me tell you, most mouth guards are terrible. They're too large for your mouth and they they fit well. Dr. Jorgensen's were perfect, and he provided us with the molds he used in case we needed to make more. All the times I went the staff was friendly and Dr. Jorgensen gave us Gatorades. He's a great guy and I highly recommend his clinic for this reason. read more

AMAZING experience from start to finish. The office is IMPECCABLE, and looks like something Pinterest. Dr Jorgensen and the entire staff were nothing short of awesome, not to mention 100% professional. They encourgage the patients to take responsibility of their teeth, and reward them with points when they comply. My oldest had braces done here a couple of years ago and they were amazing and made his smile even more beautiful than before. More recently he had his lingual bar come loose and they were able to fit us in with a next day appointment for repair. It's like we never left. They have a very nice office, staff and technology BUT my biggest grip is with the financing lady. I took my daughter here to get a consultation before deciding if it's to early to start her or not. They gave me some forms to fill out (name, address, etc.) Well, I didn't know that this form was also the authorization for them to run a credit report on me. Why a credit report, this is only braces not a new car? Who thought that they would do this. Of course they did and because when I filled out the forms I didn't fill everything out completely and I'm thinking this is only a consultation they don't need to know where I work or where my husband works. WELL! I was quoted this extremely high price for the phase I and on top of it, they wanted an extremely high down payment. I asked if they could work with me on the down payment and the financing lady told me, "NO! we don't do that". When I talked with my friends about their payments and down payments, and yes! we did look at each others notes about what work needs to be done and we all had the same similar work that needed to be done. They were all waived the down payment and their monthly payments were also cheaper. Anyway, a few months later I get a phone call some someone else at the office, I started to ask this person questions. I discovered that the financing lady ran a credit report on me without my knowledge and with no job info given she didn't feel I was a good fit for their practice and wanted to keep me out so she quoted me this outrageous price and as it turns out. They quote people all different prices just because they can. NOT VERY NICE PRACTICE!. If you go get a cavity fixed at a dentist, it's one price for everyone and if you go buy a car, it's one price for everyone. If you go get a flu shot, it's one price for everyone. So, because for some reason they couldn't work with me on the down payment, I was forced to go somewhere else BUT for half the price. BEWARE!!! This is the most expensive orthodontist in the country. This is Rio Rancho NM not New York or Los Angeles, where I also got a consultations from. I'm not going to give the price I was quoted on this website. But if you are curious inbox me and and I will give you all the numbers. And the only reason they are getting three stars instead of one star is because everyone else in the office is super nice. I'm glad I found Dr. J...I relocated to NM in the middle of 18mos of agonizing ortho treatment. My consult was of no cost and I found staff very reassuing of process. Finding a new ortho you can feel comfortable with can be a daunting task. Regardless if your a new patient or relocating I would plan to visit this office, again consult is free. I did not feel pressured to continue treatment with this office, they took time to answer all my ?s and concerns and I was provided options for treatment. The office is state of art from where I previously was and if you have read other reviews, the infamous cookies are as good as people say. Additionally, I started treatment with Dr. J and application of braces was quick and painless compared to my previous experience. He even called after hours to personally check on my well being. I rarely venture into Rio Rancho but it's totally worth the drive for me. After consulting with 4 orthodontists in the Abq area, I was incredibly discouraged with what was available to my teen who desperately needed braces. I shared my ortho frustration with a friend and she referred me to Jorgensen. From the minute we were taken back into the office, I knew we would be coming back for treatment. I can't begin to explain how professional and thorough our consultation was. As a business owner myself, I was taking mental notes on how they handle new patients. After we discussed payment and treatment plans, my daughter was able to start her treatments that same day. Dr. Jorgensen was so enthusiastic with what he could do for my daughter without pulling any teeth despite the overcrowding of her teeth. This was a first! He has consistently been optimistic about her treatment and is great at explaining every step that needs to be taken to get the results he wants. The whole vibe in the office is upbeat and you can tell the employees enjoy their jobs. Every visit ends with a freshly "baked" cookie. Honestly, that was the selling point for me!
