If you're ever in Haleiwa craving Mexican food and stop by here I hope you have the pleasure of being served by Teresa. She was an amazing server, so kind, so informative to all of our questions, attentive to our table with refills, and she absolutely blessed us with her personality and service. The food was unreal, the portions were beyond what I expected and satisfied us right after a long beach day. 10/10 coming back and requesting Teresa!!!!

Came on a weekend and sat on the patio. Super busy so service was slow but to be expected. High quality in food would recommend 100%

Came on weekend which was super busy, slow service was to be expected. Amazing drinks and food. The battered fish tacos was to die for. Highly recommend for anyone in north shore that wants fish instead of shrimp.

My husband and I came here after walking around North Shore before our drive back home! We went at 3pm on a Saturday and were seated within 15 minutes. We ordered the happy hour nachos, the quesabirria, and a NA margarita. The nachos were great, and the NA marg was delicious! I wish that the quesabirria had been a little more authentic but otherwise portions were great. Overall I would come back!

Was able to quickly get parking and a seat in the craziness of north shore. My plate was large and tasted good! My friend loved her tacos and margarita day deals too. Her favorite part was the special sauce they make on occasion that she was able to add to her tacos. Place felt clean and well decorated, with an interesting seating layout. Giving you the opportunity to sit inside at tables or the bar, or outside! Only complaint on my end is the waiter spent more time flirting with her than doing the table much service. Fed her endlessly with free margaritas, where I got to be the one who dealt with the consequences. Thanks!

Saw this on place featured on a local TV show and decided to give it a try. Parking is right out front and more parking towards the back of the small strip mall. Typical Haleiwa traffic, so pack your patience. The restaurant is in the same place that used to be Stormy's Gastropub. Our server was friendly and helpful with questions we had. Bar vibe atmosphere and got a table facing the main road so we could watch all the people walk by. Was intrigued by a dish that was featured on that TV show, the Birria Ramen. It was just ok to me, the taste was good but I think the noodles weren't the right type of noodles, they were too chewy. My husband liked his battered fish burrito. I feel it wasn't the best Mexican food I've had, it was just ok.

Mediocre service and not the most authentic Mexican food as they claim it to be. Seems like a good place for some casual drinks and nachos but not if you are craving solid Mexican food wanting quick service. I enjoyed the fish tacos but the batter was a bit doughy.

My friend and I came here for lunch/dinner after we went shark diving. This was such a good place! It wasn't busy at all and the staff was so nice and helpful. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. They have umbrellas to block the sun. The food came out very fast and was suuuper delicious. I originally ordered the spicy c&c that ended up being too spicy for me unfortunately and the waitress was so kind and switched my drink out. I highly recommend this restaurant! Great Mexican food!

such a cute little spot in haleiwa town. There is free parking in the complex but for some reason every stall was taken. If you're patient one will eventually open up. they are located in the front corner with huge yellow walls so you can't miss it. they are near one of the entrances to exit/enter the complex. We went about 2pm and it was probably on the tail end of them being busy but we got a table right away outdoors. They seemed to slow down mid way and I'm not the most needy person, but for some reason i felt super neglected here. i think the main server tried his best, but the busser who helps them totally ignored us - our water was not refilled, we didnt even get napkins or utensils, and even had to ask where some of the things we ordered was. at one point i went up to look for the server or even napkins at their bussing table. I ordered the beer battered fish tacos which i assumed would have been the must get item since there was a lightning bolt next to it. it was about $23 and tasted a little burnt. in the end i barely ate one whole piece, probably cause i was a little annoyed with the service. They seemed to have catered to the large table with tourists next to us instead. We also got guac which is market price. in total for 2 entrees, a beer, and guac was around $70. I still gave a pretty good tip (20%) even tho i felt neglected during this visit, so this was really generous of me on my part when it should have been a lot less, but i do really appreciate that they allow dogs in the outdoor area, so often times i do a auto 20% at the least just for that. i honestly don't think i would make it back here again or recommend it to others tho.

Great food! Closest thing you can get to traditional mexican on the island and affordable. Jay was our server and she was excellent, gave great recommendations and was quick with her service. The restaurant is super cute and has a great atmosphere. Will definitely return!

I should know better than to eat Mexican food outside of my hometown of San Diego. It just never compares. But I decided to get a couple fish tacos here because my vegetarian boyfriend was struggling to find good Hawaiian options and wanted to fall back on Mexican food. The fish tacos and rice were both good enough but it was the poor excuse for salsa that caused me to question my decision. It was watery and flavorless and I was very disappointed. Chips and salsa can make or break a Mexican meal and sadly it broke it here.

Jorge's Haleiwa is a great stop on the North Shore. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and solid Mexican food with good portions. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the drinks were on point. Easy place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Haleiwa.

Chips and Salsa were good and the draft beer was icy cold and refreshing. Chips were clearly homemade!

Jorge's is a great place to take a break and recover while enjoying the North Shore beaches. Easy parking in and out and they have a decent happy hour if you happen to land there in the late afternoon. I stopped in to just grab a quick beer, cool off a bit and thought I'd get some chips and salsa. The chips were clearly homemade which is always nice and I love searching for the occasional holy grail slightly undercooked chewy soft chip, of which there were a few. The salsa was "fine", although nobody is going to eat it and run screaming into the ocean with their mouth on fire. It was tasty enough but on a 1-10 heat scale, it was a touristy "minus 3" haha so just know that going in. (Actually, it was strangely reminiscent of the salsa you'd get at Chili's) The menu was typical North Shore touristy spendy with most dishes over $20 but if you get in on happy hour, fish tacos were only $6 and drinks are discounted so maybe plan accordingly.

My family and I had lunch here today and we were happy with the food, ambiance and service. We ordered the beer battered fish tacos, nachos, quesadillas, Mexican salad and churros. All very tasty! Will definitely be back for the nachos and salad again.

We tried the calamari, which I enjoyed way more than my entrée. The garlic shrimp was OK. I liked that it had a lot of sauce and flavor. Can't beat the garlic shrimp trucks, but it was pretty good. The local mall was also really good different. I wasn't too much of a fan of it. Overall experience was great. The service was nice. I don't know if chicken is imported to the island or what, but the price is CRAZY high.... I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was actually really good, BUT that wrap was so small. It was too twisted, fusion, modified etc. i prefer a mai tai a plain old fashioned mai tai without the fixings. The orange foam was too strong it overwhelmed the dark rum im used to and prefer. So i decided to try the ube rey instead which was much better but still not as much to my liking/preferences. Went back to Aulani a but bummed and decided to get another at Aulani the next day instead and I will say, i liked it better as it followed the more traditional way of making it. So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer.
