I came to Oahu two years ago for work and we happened to stop here for lunch. We planned a trip this weekend for my husbands birthday and I told him we could do whatever he wanted but we must stop at Uncle Bo's for their Kalua Pork Sliders and local beer. The service was fast and friendly, we shared the sliders, some pot stickers and a bowl of chowder. Everything was hot, fresh and flavorful and the prices were fair. Also loved sitting out on the patio in the nice spring breeze listening to music that wasn't too loud

Happy Hour daily 2-6pm (food + drinks) Everything I got was less than $10 except the shrimp plate, $16. Their fuji apple highball is a light, sweet premade mix from a japanese can. A refreshing treat after a long morning of hiking and 'āina work. . Staff here give solid service with easy going north shore vibes (: . keep the country, country aloha \m/

The food here was not good, and definitely not worth the price. The only good thing about this spot was our waitress, she was super nice and even took the nachos off of our bill. Bottom line: Haleiwa offers tons of good fresh food, most of the food trucks are better than here. I do not recommend especially if you are here visiting/on vacation. Spinach dip: dry and lacked flavor. Nachos: very weird. The Kalua pig is sautéed in a tomato sauce and the sauce pools on the bottom of the dish (making chips soggy). They also throw in chunks of ham? And load it with mozzarella cheese...overall the sauce was SWEET and the flavors just did not go well together. Thankfully the waitress was nice and understanding enough to take it off the bill. Crab cakes: large but the crab was mushy not chunks. SOS: good but not $40 good.

Quite possibly the worst loco moco I've ever had! The hamburger itself was good. However, the gravy was thin (demi-glacé) and the rice had hard bits (probably not enough water during the cooking process). Also, the utensils weren't very clean. There was dried food (?) still stuck on the fork (pictured). Overall, service was lacking. The fork wasn't addressed with the server because we were mostly ignored. The Uncle Bo's restaurant in town is preferable to this location.

Arrived shortly after opening and was seated right away. We were able to watch football on the tv screens. Ordered the favorites: loco moco, dynamite shrimp, Boca rota with extra bread and kids grilled cheese. Everything was so YUM!

Gluten sensitive mom+ kiddo and wanted to share the menu. Within 20 min of consuming gluten I get a migraine behind my eye and no migraines from Uncle Bo's in Haleiwa. I ordered the kalua pig fried rice. It wasn't as spectacular as the reviews, assuming the gluten version is much tastier. But it was enough to tie me over until dinner. I ordered online and it was very simple. There's an option for GF and I also added it to the notes just to make sure. Easy peasy. I'm must note I do not have a gluten allergy so I didn't inquire about cross contamination.

This place is locally owned which is nice and has a variety of menu options. They have inside and outdoors Seating. Service is great staff is very attentive. We got there 25min before HH ended so were offered the HH menu. Good choices of wine and appetizers on the HH but it's the same price on their normal menu. We got our food out very quickly surprisingly. All food lacked flavors and didn't come out fresh! Something as simple as Spicy Ahi Poke was so blend. Dynamite shrimp came with rice infused with garlic. Thai chicken wings were chewy, pot stickers were ok. Overall service was great but food quality lacked.

I went for happy hour , it was pretty empty but I think because the restaurant had just opened . I just got the pizza from the happy hour menu. And it was perfect for a quick snack after the beach

Went for happy hour and enjoyed it! The spicy garlic shrimp was yummy! $16 for 6 shrimps seem a little overpriced but it was not your usual garlic shrimp. Very delicious! Also tried the kalua pork sliders which tasted like bbq pork sliders, but on a taro bun. Delicious and decent deals. I wouldn't say it's the best happy hour, but definitely decent deals!

Food was good, service was extremely slow. We were there for almost 3 hours. If the service improves the food was good enough to be back. Lots of parking and the ambiance was worth it.

Cute spot with happy hour from 2-6 in Haleiwa! Staff was friendly, we got seated promptly at 2pm on a Saturday. We sat on the side patio with our dog. Our waitress brought out waters for us and a bowl for our pup! We both got a cocktail, and the sliders from the happy hour menu. ($4.95 per slider) First round of drinks during happy hour comes with salt and vinegar pork rinds (these were so crispy and delicious!) The food was good, drinks good, price wasn't bad either. It was a great end to our long afternoon.

There is an upstairs seating area that must provide some exceptional views, but it was closed during our visit. Our lunch was easily 5-star. We began with the Spicy Ahi Wontons. Fresh ahi with shallots, scallions, tobiko (Japanese caviar), and cabbage. This App was extremely complex with a hint of spice. Truly wonderful! For our mains we ordered the grilled mahi mahi and fish and chips. My mahi mahi was grilled to a moist perfection, and the brown butter sauce could have overwhelmed the fish, so I went light on the sauce. Their fish n' chips are not your traditional Irish bar offering. The fish was gently battered with panko and fried just right. Their homemade tarter sauce was absolutely delicious. They have a very interesting craft cocktail menu. My Ku'Ula-Kai Mai Tai was on point and perfectly balanced - sweet and sour. Plus 1's Aloalo Fizz reminded her of a Paloma, only made with vodka with a tropical twist. Service was attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu and ingredients. We really appreciated the chill environment, beautiful view, and the welcoming ocean breeze. Pro tip: After dinner, head downtown to walk off your lunch/dinner and check out all the shops. Dessert?
