I called Jorge after seeing all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed! I needed to modify my boat t-top and asked Jorge if he come by to take a look at it. He showed up promptly at the scheduled time with another person and said he could easily do it. He pretty much did everything at my place except for the welding because I mistakenly told him that the t top was stainless steel, but it was actually aluminum. So he did not bring the right welder. Jorge was so cool. He said he will just do everything else l, but the welding which will be done at his shop. You can tell by the way he works, that he really knows his stuff! One of the legs of our iron stair railing had rusted out, so I called Jorge to see if he would be able to repair it. I had 3 iron gates at my house that needed fixing - simple stuff, 2 just reattaching the latch and one that was constantly "stuck." But I am not a welder so I needed to find someone who could fix them. I tried getting other gate guys to do a small job but no one wants to come out. Jorge is a great guy. I had a window fall off my second floor in terrible wind storm and he came out and re-welded it. It was a very heavy window and unfortunately if fell off the hinge again. I called him and it was tough for him to fit me on his schedule but he was willing to, it was just going to take a little time. I would call him again but I didn't give him 5 stars because of the delay in being able to help me the second time around in a timely manner. I can't say whether the window fell off because of the welding or because it the difficulty of the job. Another worker on site (a painter) was able to help me fix the problem. I recently asked Jorge to weld some ornamental pieces on my existing doors, rails and driveway gate. He was punctual and started to work right away on a holiday because he made a commitment to be here. He gave me an estimate time of half a day and he welded non-stop for about 5 hours. He did everything I asked him to do and the work was excellent and he even helped me put in a new door knocker and extra hinges on the front door. We had a metal driveway gate installed last year, but the installation was so bad that the hinge already broke. I called Jorge to see if he could come out and fix it. He answered all my questions over the phone and scheduled an appt to come by and give me an estimate. He texted when he was on his way and showed up early.
