Call this shop and asked if they have camel blazer (online it stated they do) The mensa candidate salesperson, we have camel polyester blazer. Come on what type of experience do they actually have. To start the place is gross. Upon arival not one empleyee out of about 6 even bothered to look up or greet us. The floor looks like it's never been mopped. There was dust balls, hair, dirt and garbage all over the floor. Nearly impossible to get to/into the fitting rooms between all the boxes and garbage piled in the back. The White suit shirts that you try on to figure out what size you are all stained and yellowed. Everything was just disgusting. It took over 3 hours to fit 1 man and 2 small children for suit rentals. They were out of many of the sizes and we were left to just guess which size we thought would work best. Not impressed would not recommend nor will I go back. read more

WOW! What a tremendous experience I just had at this location. I called before I went in to check on availability of something, and Pete found what I needed and held it aside for the next day. I then called back and asked if it would be okay for me to come by now, he said absolutely without hesitation even though the store was closing. Once I got there he was friendly as could be, had everything ready for me and made me feel so calm when I was really worried about getting what I needed so last minute. I recently needed to buy a new Sport Coat as all these Yelp reviews seem to be keeping me from losing any weight (just kidding, perhaps it's my lack of willpower when confronted with pizza, sushi, fries, etc). Anyway, I've purchased items from Jos. A. Bank before and I figured SOMEONE there could help. I walked through the door and, surprisingly, it took a couple minutes for a guy to come over to give me a hand. Brian asked what I was looking for and I told him a sport coat, preferably in a charcoal grey...and that I had no idea what size I was anymore. Anyway, I didn't like the first jacket he pointed out and I told him it didn't HAVE to be charcoal grey. Brian offered me two other jackets before I found one that fit and I liked. Took about 5 minutes. I told Brian that I also should probably look at some dress shirts and possibly a new tie and he simply pointed me at two racks of shirts. No help, no 'I think this color shirt would go well with that jacket', nothing. He stood there and talked to some other guy who was a snowboard instructor at Camelback. He couldn't even be bothered to look at me as he handed me my receipt. SO I came into the store willing to spend a feww hundred bucks on new dress clothes, but only walked out with a new jacket because this guy thought it was preferable to talk to a snowboard instructor who was less than half his age. To quote Hermione Granger..."What.An.IDIOT" Since I had to create this business site for YELP, I'm assuming the jacka$$ isn't going to read this, but I'm sure that Jos.A.Bank was happy to know how much money I then spent at Macy's and Kohl's on shirts, pants and ties. What a terrible experience my husband, groomsmen and mom had today. We walked in with 6 men needing tuxes for our upcoming wedding. Immediately after walking in, we were treated like dirty beggars because they acted as if we were ruining their entire day. There was not a soul in the place, and the two workers were sitting around not doing anything. I was immediately chastised for bringing 6 people without an appointment and was told i should have had my groomsmen go to a location near them. How did I know it was going to be busy on a Saturday morning? There was no one beating down the door to get a suit. I was doing what was best for my family and my groomsmen, especially since the majority of them were out of state. After sizing everyone for tuxes and forgetting to size a few men for shoes, we finally got around to paying and they made my husband pay for his tux first. After we paid, I looked online and saw that if you buy more than 5 tuxes you get one free so we told Miguel and he acted as though it was our fault and said he can't fix it until the tux comes in in a month. Moral of the story is, if you want to be treated like a piece of trash and get berated by disgruntled employees, this is the place for you! read more

Went in for a suit and accessories with my 16 year old son for his upcoming confirmation. Miguel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We got everything we needed in less than 30 minutes (picking up the suit in a few weeks after alterations). He also got 3 shirts, a tie, 5 pairs of socks, a belt and shoes. Very reasonable prices. Whatever you want in clothing, do not expect to ever see a custom shirt of you order one. I thought I would spruce up for my son's wedding. I placed a customer shirt order in February. I cancelled it April 24 after I kept getting the runaround. My original delivery date I was told was March 17. Joseph A Bank used to be my go to. They are going downhill fast unfortunately. I came to this location to exchange a pair of pants from a suit I purchased online. Before I could explain what the problem was with the paints I was told I couldn't exchange the pants because I didn't bring in the matching suit jacket. I tried to tell the sales person that the jacket fit perfectly and I didn't want to return it, he didn't seem interested in finding a solution. If you are looking for horrible customer service and the felling that you are inconveniencing employees simply by walking into the store then this is the place for you. Awful. read more

I took my son to the Denville location for the first time to buy him a suit and accessories now that he'll be graduating college. Rose, our sales person, was phenomenal. She clearly was up on all the styles appropriate for his age group in the workforce and recommended the perfect shirts, tied and shoes. She also was great at mixing and matching items to get more bang for the buck. There is no way we could have done any of this on line or without her help. Jos A Bank is a classic American store. Every sales person was engaged in helping customers unlike department stores where you can never find a sales person to help. This is my son's new favorite store. read more

She not only helped me to get what I was looking for, She helped me acquire two of the nicest suits I have ever owned. This was by far the worst vendor we used for our wedding. It was not just this location it was the entire chain! My husband wanted to have the men in the wedding buy suits and we thought the best way to do this would be to use a country wide chain since he had groomsmen all over the country. Everything about Jos A. Bank was a nightmare. We spent hours picking out a suit with a vest only to find out when we were paying that the vest didnt come in the right color. Then we had to start from scratch. They lost one of our guys suits, they were not altered properly, they failed to alter my husbands suit (even though we paid for and measured for alterations) so he had to take it somewhere else. I could go on and on. I will never use them again to either purchase or alter a suit. Bad, bad, bad! read more

Horrible customer service. It I was able to give them negative stars I would. Came in for suits for my wedding the sales associate made it seem like we would be in and out with all of our groomsmen and we were there for five hours. We went in there a month prior to get an idea about the price of suits and he said when we were ready to come in with all of our groomsmen and that would be the eastiest but he did not tell us how long it would take, how unorganized it was, and he did not give his undivided attention. The sales associate, Mark kept leaving us and working with other people instead of measuring all of our guys and getting us out of there as fast as possible. It took three staff to make our order and they were arguing and disagreeing with each other the whole time and were extremely unprofessional. I totally regret giving them out business of 9 suits and we should of went somewhere else. My advice if you need to get suits for your wedding GO ANYWHERE ELSE! read more
