I ordered takeout here. I chose radiatore rose with a meatball. I waited for 10-15 mins. The restaurant made it fresh. I ate the pasta at home. It came with a piece of focaccia. The focaccia was soft inside and a bit crunchy outside. The red sauce in the pasta was slightly spicy but it was manageable. The pasta tasted really good that I had one bite after another. The pricing was affordable considering this restaurant is in Vancouver. A lot of young adults, families, or friends would come here for a dinner when I was there. I tried to go there earlier one evening but it was full of people in the seating areas plus the entrance for lineup. I didn't want to wait and left. I would love to try other dishes next time. I wish they sell desserts such as Tiramisu and panna cotta.

Super yummy affordable, casual Italian spot with solid portions and food. You can also see them making their own pasta and everything through the window. It's not super big but there is a decent amount of seating. You order at the front then can either take your order to go or seat yourself. It did get pretty packed while I was here though. There's paid street parking right out front then a nearby neighborhood. The closest part of the neighborhood is only for residential parking but we drove another block down and parked there We got two pastas and each one came with a piece of focaccia bread which was nice. Portions were also a pretty good size. My boyfriend and I both ate some then ended up having leftovers Rigatoni pesto cream: 4/5 this was good but pesto isn't my favorite in general Radiatore rose: 5/5 this was my first time having this pasta shape and I liked it a lot. I also liked that there was a slight spice to it

So thrilled to have an Italian deli/resto on Main! We checked it out and got a small salad, pasta and sandwich each. The pasta is what I will definitely come back for as it was my favourite of the bunch and made fresh and so affordable! I got the fettuccini Alfredo which was nice and creamy with lots of sauce! My husband got the pesto cream and enjoyed it as well! The noodles were cooked perfectly. We devoured both our plates. The only downside was the focaccia tasted abit stale. The salads were good too, fresh lettuce, great crunch and generous portion of bacon on top! Our sandwiches were what left us slightly underwhelmed as we felt they were too packed with lettuce and not enough main ingredient. I got the Italian and my hubby got the Vege. We love the location and the layout and design of this spot! It's nice and spacious, the grocery corner is awesome with speciality items and the merch is adorable. Excited to go back here and try more of the menu!

Jo's Italian deli is so good and affordable! They make their own pasta and focaccia bread where each pasta dish comes with bread. The service is pretty quick too. I love the rigatoni pesto cream. The rigatoni has the perfect al dante chew and the sauce is fresh (you can taste the basil) and creamy. It has the perfect sauce to pasta ratio. The regular size will definitely fill you up. I also added the crispy chicken. The chicken is very crispy yet still juicy. The seasoning is very good as well. They also have a small convenience store which is cool to look around while you wait for your food. Definitely will be coming back whenever I want pasta!

Great affordable place! They also have another location around west point. It definitely has a homemade feeling. The only downside is they only have bread chicken for the extra. Would love to have grilled chicken to add. I also love their strawberry ice tea because it's not too sweet. The italian soda is good too but I'm not a big fan of soda.

Jo's Italian Deli offer pasta and sandwiches. The menu is fairly straight forward. Small sandwiches start at $9.89 and regular pasta $11.59 You order at the counter and get a buzzer. Once your buzzer goes off, your order is ready at the pick-up side. For the Fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken cutlet. The pasta was al dente with some chew and the chicken cutlet was pretty thin and crunchy. The are several tables and some bar seating There is a commissary section at the front for ingredients and snack.

Spaghetti & meatballs come with foccacia bread. Caesar salad is an add-on.

Honestly, the woman who made those is amazing. However, I'm not sure, but I think there's been a recent change in ownership (August 2023??), so I cannot comment on whether the current fresh food offerings are the same calibre. But, they've reorganized the layout a bit, and they're definitely more focused on Eastern European offerings with lots of frozen, fresh and shelf stable options. I was very happy to see that they still have the same vacuum sealed smoked chicken and ribs, and they seem to have a wider assortment of frozen pierogies and pelmeni than typically available in grocery stores. Hopefully the woman with the magical savoury baked goods is still there to make her delectable items!

Yesterday after failing to find skin-on turkey breast elsewhere I phoned and ordered a whole turkey…read morebreast, skin on, and paid a deposit of $20. All good - head out and ask my husband to pick it up. While I shop for other things. After several minutes of confusion from the staff, he's finally handed an enormous wrapped parcel and charged $104. He's shocked but figures he better get it. Now I don't know if we could have returned it at this point, but when I saw Safeway only had a small, single breast (for $13.99) I figured I'd go with what appeared to be a very large double / full breast. Getting home I unwrap a bloody, netted roll of turkey that turns out to be one skin-on breast that has the meat partially separating from the skin, very unevenly and poorly removed from the bone, plus approximately 8 skinless breasts of various sizes. I'm already anxious enough about making a massive and complex meal and now I have an extremely expensive pile of basically crap as my centrepiece. Wonderful. Suggest if you buy from them do it in-store and watch what you're getting. I suspect they had a trainee and rolled their unsalable poorly cut breasts into a giant 'sucker' package for whoever phoned in a turkey order. I certainly won't support this business again, which pisses me off because I sure don't love supporting Galen and the other monopolies. Feeling incredibly ripped off and gullible for trusting which also sucks for us as a society. I was very clear in my order that I was expecting both sides of the breast with skin on (I asked twice) from a roughly 5-6 kilo turkey. Guess I'm just bitter as I lie awake stressing about presenting a hacked up small pile of turkey to my guests. Damn Tango's, you did me dirty.

I haven't tried the deli since I don't often eat deli meats and sandwiches but the iced mochas have been delicious and quite affordable. Staff is friendly and the owner seems to always be here so if there's problems, it should be brought up so they can do better, although i haven't had any issues.

The interior has a warm…read moredecor, although some elements, particularly around the deli and food counters and walls, could have more sophistication. The furniture looks nice but some is better quality than others. Our high top table was wobbly. Better signage is needed for the deli and sandwich section. Some things were missing prices/labels. When I came with a friend, the place was fairly busy. The staff and friendly. However, they are not experienced. It is clear they have not worked in food and beverage previously. There is a water and condiment station, but the cups for the water are so small, and they are plastic. I'm not sure why they don't just have plastic tumbler cups since they have real tableware for purchased food anyway. There is compostable cutlery, which is better than plastic. But again, why not have real cutlery since the cups and plates are all real dishes? The compostable cutlery is also very difficult to use with some of their items as it's just not sturdy enough. The compostable should be saved for to go orders. In terms of the food, they use good ingredients. The sandwiches also came with a side of artichokes dip/spread, which was a nice touch. On the other hand, they claimed to have heated up the sandwiches, which was definitely NOT the case as the sandwich was cold and the cheese was not even close to melting. Because the sandwich was cold and they used thicker bread, the bread was tougher than it needed to be. They claimed there was a preset timer and that they had grilled or pressed it. Well, the timer must have been for 3 seconds since it did nothing to the sandwich, and I don't believe their claim as there were zero grill marks on the bread. They need to have a proper panini press, and staff need to be trained in it. There is a large selection of dessert and sandwiches, and they also have soup and pasta and then sliced meats at the deli. Some sandwiches were not available even though we came at 130pm, e.g., veggie, prosciutto. We saw more sandwiches that were prepared on a try that was behind the deli, but they were not restocked into the window/case where you ordered. Additionally, the deli was "closed for cleaning"; I'm not sure what that meant as no one was cleaning, and it wasn't apparent that the deli was dirty. Plus. The meats were all sitting in the glass case. Considering, they had three staff and no line. The whole situation of the sandwiches and deli made no sense. Prices are reasonable for what you get and are comparable to other cafes The place has a lot of potential, but there is also a lot of competition in the area, and I think some areas need improvement.

This is the place where I usually buy cakes for the office. Their cakes are pre-made and placed in the displays for you to choose from. If you have time, order ahead, but I don't usually have any problems with walk ins. The most recent cakes that I purchased were the Lemon Meringue and the Chocolate. The HBC Gourmet Market is a little known great eatery in downtown Vancouver. It is located on the bottom floor of the Hudson's Bay Company (next to the Pacific Centre food court). It appears to be relatively unknown because Yelp doesn't know about it and so many people are always asking where I buy my lunch! Here you will find a very tasty selection of typical deli fare... The soups, salads, and sandwiches are their main selects but there is a whole lot more! My favourites are the Thai Chicken soup and the Chipotle Chicken Soup... usually ordered with a Greek salad. I am always so pleased with my lunch that I made this my very first review on Yelp!
