I have been seeing Dr. Suros for 5 years. I began seeing him after moving to Bethesda from Colorado for work. He is one of the nicer doctors I have ever seen. I first saw Dr. Suros after injuring my back helping to lift a sink during a kitchen remodel. I was in bed for 2 days. It eventually went away, but I have flare ups from time to time.
Dr. Suros was polite, friendly, very professional, and actually takes the time to sit down with you at every visit and does not send you to one of his assistants after the first visit. Dr. Suros has always been a thoughtful, caring, and listens. I do not feel rushed.
He is personable and knowledgeable and if he doesn't know about something, he is honest and will direct you to someone else. He is also open minded to multiple treatment options and does not think you have two heads if you want to avoid medication. He does not do acupuncture, but he discussed it with me. He recommended a place to go. ( see my reviews as I have also reviewed Dr. Xiaoming Tian at the Wildwood Acupuncture Center in Bethesda. I saw him for acupuncture and he was very good) his office is in the same building, but one floor below Dr. Suros.
I have spent too much time with the medical community and with doctors and I can tell you that he is rare. I sent 2 of my friends to him. He was able to help one, but the other just needed surgery, however, both thought he was a great doctor.
Thankfully my back pain is not constant and I have avoided surgery.
If I have s critique it is that I typically have to wait to see him on the day of my appointment. Also, his office can be cold when the AC is blasting. read more
