I had a mole my whole life that I had contemplated getting removed. It was one of those things that everybody called a beauty mark, etc. it was something I personally had always wondered about getting removed and had always talked about it. I researched so many dermatologists in the area and even spanning through LA to find one that I felt would really be sure it's done right. I came across Dr. Del Priore and contemplated getting the procedure done for about two months until I could actually do it (LOL nerves)! I started with a smaller one on my eyelid to test out how it would heal before I went to the bigger one near my lip. My first procedure was removal of a mole on my eyelid close to my eyebrow. He just numbed it and shaved it, and i was healed within 3 weeks! It's probably been about three months now since the first procedure, and exactly a month today of the second one. His office is very professional, and I enjoyed my experience with all of the team members. Dr. Talk to me through different options and understood my concerns, and ultimately helped me make a decision that was best for myself even though I was nervous, he helped convince get the procedure because I was nervous, but I told him I'd always wanted to. I definitely would say I had cold feet but a month later it is healed so beautifully and I'm so glad I actually followed through! I even followed up with questions about care to ask for advice, and ensure that I was doing everything properly for healing! Here's what i did for both areas: Neosporin every few hours for the first 5-7 days. Aquaphor consistiently after that until wound is closed. Wash gently 1-2x a day with face wash i used my normal cerave. Once wound was closed I have applied Mederma Scar Gel about 3x a day. Pretty much made it a habit to reapply every time i look in the mirror and it's dry. No sun on my face! Hats & Shade + Sunscreen 2x a day even when indoors! Takeaways from my visit -No pain -Great Healing (considering i'm only a few months in, scars can take about a year of healing to really be unnoticeable- I literally will come back and find this review in a year to update yall) -Professional, Clean & Friendly Staff -No Payment/Transaction issues Everything was great! I requested a refund a few times and never got a response. After paying cash in person they sent me to collections. Which was a mistake. And the reason I want a refund still is because he burned the sh** out of my nose. I went in for a spider vein on my nose, it was slightly red and an eye sore. He burnt it. Not only did the burn make the redness wayyyyy worse, I smelled my nose burning. Burning a red vein and saying it can heal but will still be red isn't a solution. He should have turned me down. I want a refund for the 10 second procedure that was $286 out of pocket. Look at the before and after. It's clearly worse after visiting the office. Please contact me for a refund. This guy managed to talk negatively about my other doctor who he had never met, prescribe me a medication I stated that I wasn't open to taking, had two aides in the office during the exam with no explanation (wonderful thing when you're naked and vulnerable in a tiny doctor's office with 3 strangers) and was unable to diagnose the thing I came for - all in under 10 minutes! I have been seeing Dr. Del Priore frequently for removal of growths under the skin (so far they are benign lipomas). I've never been kept waiting, never had any sort of discomfort, let alone pain, during or after surgeries, and no complications. The after care is a simple daily band-aid change for a week and no need to return for suture removal. No scarring either. Surprised that someone can go through the skin and back with no fuss.
