We are extremely lucky to have Dr. Joseph in the Irvine area. I stumbled upon his office one day while I was walking out of the building. I had always been wanting to get a veneer but I am very specific and picky. I casually walked in to his office and everyone was very nice and the front desk person suggested that I scheduled an appointment for consultation. I did and the moment I talked to dr joseph I could feel that he's such a real deal, no fluff and not full of marketing speech. I still ended up getting my veneer, even though the office didn't have any before and after "example pics" for me to refer etc. I just trusted them and I was really glad I did! they are very attentive, and the veneer is extremely natural! I've been going to Joseph Dental for the better part of a decade and have always been happy with the treatment, but the latest appointment was the cherry on top of the cake. I had to get my last wisdom tooth removed which I was quite nervous about because well, who likes getting their teeth pulled? Though looking back now I had no reason to be nervous. After they checked out the tooth, I was numbed locally just enough so that I didn't feel any pain, but not so much that I couldn't move my mouth. Dr. Suh warned that the numbing might hurt a bit, but it felt like a prick at worst. We waited a few minutes (I assume to let the numbing take effect?) and afterwards, Dr. Suh applied pressure to the area and just popped the tooth out with zero pain. It took 30 seconds tops for the actual removal and maybe 20 minutes for the entire procedure. I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to ask the doctor & assistant several times to confirm that it was over because I couldn't believe that it could done so quickly & painlessly. In the years I've been here, they've never over-treated and are always willing to address any questions & concerns you have. The dental hygienists are very professional and honest with you, plus the receptionist makes scheduling an appointment & taking care of insurance a breeze. I've been a patient here for many years, received many treatments and restorations including an implant. Dr. suh is knowledgeable and kindly explains the treatment plans prior to the procedure so I'm fully aware of what service I'm going to receive. The treatment and the crowns were top notch, I never had any problem with any restorations except one time my implant screw was loosened up and he fixed it at no extra cost. I mean, that's the kind of level of service we all expect especially when you spend whole lot of money and they go above and beyond. All dental hygienists are kind and helpful. Every time I visit for the deep cleaning, they spend like an hour to remove all the nasty stuff on your teeth. As a heavy coffee drinking person I must have yellow ugly teeth but I still can maintain my teeth bright and heathy because of their good work. The front desk receptionists were very kind and diligent to take care of all the insurance paper works at no hassle. My favorite part is that they remind your appointments. I usually make an cleaning appointment every six months ahead and forget every time but I get the reminder through email, text and phone calls.
