I'm extremely disappointed with how my experience with Dr. Laleh's office has been handled, particularly regarding the cancellation and financing process. I originally went to Dr. Laleh for a veneer consultation. My natural teeth are healthy, and my primary reason for considering veneers was cosmetic--I wanted a level of bright, bleach-white color that I could not achieve naturally. I ultimately agreed to a veneer treatment plan totaling approximately $42,000. During the consultation process, everything moved very quickly. Heather, who handled the financing, made getting approved through their financing partner, Cherry, seem smooth and easy. After getting additional professional opinions, I was advised that because of the condition of my natural teeth, veneers were not recommended simply to achieve a whiter shade. After thinking it over for a few days, I decided that permanently altering my healthy teeth for a whiter smile was not worth $42,000, and I contacted the office to cancel. This is where my experience became extremely frustrating. When I initially tried to cancel, Heather told me it would cost approximately $12,000 because of work that had already been performed. At that point, to my knowledge, the only thing that had been completed was a scan of my teeth as part of the consultation process. No veneers have been placed, and I have received no actual veneer treatment. I later expressed my concerns directly to Dr. Laleh in June. Dr. Laleh told me that Heather was wrong to try to scare me with a $12,000 cancellation fee and that this was not how she runs her business. I appreciated hearing that and expected the issue to finally be resolved. Unfortunately, nearly 90 days later, it still has not been resolved. I have called the office approximately 3-5 times attempting to get this financing canceled. Meanwhile, I am still being charged approximately $550 per month through Cherry despite receiving no veneer treatment. I called again on August 19 and was told Heather would call me back to help resolve the cancellation. Once again, I have not received that call, and the financing has still not been canceled. What concerns me most is not that I changed my mind about veneers. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies and may incur legitimate costs. My concern is that I communicated my decision to cancel months ago, have repeatedly followed up, was personally told by Dr. Laleh that the $12,000 cancellation statement was inappropriate, and yet months later I am still making payments on financing for a treatment I never received. I originally chose to address this privately with the office and gave them multiple opportunities to resolve it. After nearly three months of calls and continued monthly charges, I feel I have exhausted that option. I am sharing my experience here so prospective patients understand the importance of carefully reviewing the financing and cancellation process before signing anything. I also plan to document my experience with Google and the Better Business Bureau if this remains unresolved. I would still welcome Dr. Laleh's office resolving this promptly by completing the cancellation and addressing the financing charges that have continued since I requested to cancel. read more
