I have been coming here for over 14 years even though I moved 40 minutes away about 10 years ago. The staff here is outstanding. Lauren is their hygienist and she's the best I've ever had. I go every three months for cleaning and she's the only person that is so gentle, I don't need any numbing gel (and I've always needed it!) THIS PLACE IS SHADY AF! I called Amore Dentistry on 02/22/2022 to see if I could see a dentist because my crown fell out and needed to get it temporally re-bonded in until I could see my real dentist. I was able to get an appointment for 02/24/2022 at 5pm to see someone. On the day I made the appointment I also asked if the provider took my insurance and they responded "yes" so I confirmed the appointment. On the day of the appointment before leaving the dentist office I was asked to pay $200 for services, I confirmed with front desk staff that I did have insurance and if they wanted to look it up but they assured me I could file a claim on my own and get my money back that way. Paying $200 upfront would be "better/faster" so I was cool with that and agreed and allowed them to run my credit card for $200. The next week I called my insurance to file a claim to get reimbursed for the service and my insurance tells me the dentist office would need to file the claim, so I called Amore Dentistry and asked if they can file the claim, after multiple (3) calls to the dentist office they filed the claim and a check was sent to them on 4/21/2022 from my insurance. I then called Amore Dentistry a few weeks later (5/10/2022) to see the status of my refund check and I was told by office staff I would receive a check for $45. When I asked for clarification on the amount I was told someone would call me back, good thing I didn't hold my breath because I have yet to have anyone call me back from the dentist and it's JUNE 9th! I should be receiving $148.50 (I had a deductible), not $45, but no one in the office can figure out where they came up with $45. I have called Amore Dentistry over 19 times and have spoken to at least 3 different staff (Laura, Sarah, and some lady with an accent that wont give me her name) and they give me an excuse each time why someone cannot go over this with me or they promise me someone will call me back.....never happened. So Amore dentistry is getting paid twice?????Once from the consumer and then from the insurance?????? Isn't that insurance fraud?????? So I get my insurance involved and my insurance tells me that Amore thinks they should keep my money because they helped me after hours, which is a HUGE lie! Office hours are 9am-6pm, my credit card was ran/swiped inside the office at 5:14 per my bank records, I was out the door by 5:15. I had dinner reservations at 5:30 and have proof that I was in the restaurant by 5:46. This business is super close to my home so I really wanted to love this place and transfer to a closer dentist but my first experience will be my last. Shenanigans! read more

I recently went to this office for the first time for a regular exam and cleaning. I liked the location and the staff. The receptionist was very friendly and pro-active about getting information correctly. Someone at sometime wrote down the wrong policy number for me, but that was corrected. Kevin, the hygienist is friendly and fun. I enjoyed his humming to the soothing music and his lively chatter. He was very solicitous and took his time. (He has quite a personality, which I enjoyed, but I am sure he can tone it down if you like to undergo your cleaning in silence. For me, I enjoyed the interaction.) More importantly in this context, he seems to enjoy what he does and take pride in doing thorough work. The dentist, Dr. Doshi was very informative and thorough. He showed and explained all my x-rays. I am set for a few fillings, so will do an update to this review after those are done. My experience so far at this office is top notch. The office was nicely decorated and clean. There was a strong perfume smell that really overpowered me when I came in which concerned me. I had recently gone to an eye dr that had strong air freshener or cologne and it was not a good experience. But after I mentioned the strong smell to the receptionist, the staff figured out it was lingering from a previous patient. I am very sensitive, but some people are really allergic to artificial perfume. It is certainly not something you want in a dentist office with your mouth hanging open all the time. Anyway, this turned out to be no fault of the dentist. I just put it here to remind people who wear perfume to be sensitive. UPDATE: I wanted to update my review based on my experience of getting three fillings done by Dr. Doshi. I am happy to report that he did a very thorough job. He used only the necessary amount of anesthetic so that my mouth was not numb for the rest of the day. I felt next to no pain during the procedure. The dentist was gentle and careful. He was also very persistent about shaving down the fillings so they didn't feel weird in my mouth before I left, even though I had to have him check them 2 or 3 times. I had no aches in the days following the visit. It has been over a month since I got this work done and I have had no problems with my teeth. I am very glad I found this dentist. read more

I visited Amore Dentistry for the first time this week and loved it. Well as much as one can love going to a dentist that is. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. I can be a bit of a baby when it comes to dental work and they helped me stay nice and calm. I loved doing the paperwork on the computer as opposed to hand writing everything out. Super easy! I felt that it was a very family-like atmosphere amongst those that worked there. I believe a husband and wife run the practice. The only downfall I see to this place is that they are only available Monday - Thursday. I believe they do however take appointments on weekends if needed. Very modern and state of the art office No wait time. Lovely staff from receptionists to the dental Hygienist. Drs. Alka and Tushar Doshi are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I came in for a simple filling but left with a whole new ideal of dental visits. The Doctors were pleasant, very thoughtful, and did a great job talking me through the procedures/explaining proper dental care. Again, very thorough with the diagnosis and never felt pushed of forced to any treatment. very honest proposed treatment and was given enough time to decide what I would like to start with. Dr. Alka Doshi took time to take intra-oral photos with a camera to show me my own teeth on the screen in front of me, and showed me step by step my treatment plan. both Doctors were patient with answering my questions and not in a rush to leave the room. I have been getting my teeth looked after at Amore Dentistry for about 10 years. Dr. Doshi has been taking good care of my teeth and mouth. I had gum problems and jaw bone loss  (before seeing Dr. Doshi). One of my lower front teeth had been giving me pain on and off. Dr. Doshi patiently watched it for a few years and provided conservative treatment to keep the tooth. Lately, I have noticed erosion of my lower molars. While discussing various options, I found that Dr. Doshi has a comprehensive understanding of teeth, gums, and bite (occlusion). He was thorough in examination, he listened patiently to my priorities and goals, he explained what he saw as prognosis of various options and he pointed out appropriate areas in the x-ray or photos to help me understand better, and we selected a treatment plan.   He did not oversell or propose over-treatment.  Through the discussions on treatment options, I realized he is very current with the treatment options for cases like mine.  I find that Dr. Doshi has steady and gentle clinical hand and numbs as needed (but not more). He does the work correctly and patiently first time and there is no need to redo the work. For example, after filling a cavity, he will patiently ask me to try the bite a few times and adjust the occlusion well enough that chewing feels normal after the treatment.  Dr. Alka Doshi did my dental checkup few times. I find her also well informed.  The Amore office staff, assistants, and hygienists are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and competent. The office is equipped with modern equipment and technology (both front office and chair side). Office space is very relaxing with good ambience.  They are punctual (the best I have experienced among all doctors and dentists I have visited) with the appointment time. It is a boutique practice (not a high volume practice).  I plan to stay with Dr. Doshi as my dentist. I highly recommend Amore to my friends. read more
