Couldn't make it work with Chapter 13 (he had me on a payment pan at $7,000 a month!) so he took me to Chapter 7, I said no, that's here you lose your home. He said no, haven't lost one yet. Guess what? Now you have! Unless it's a case where you just file the basic paperwork, you DO NOT want this lawyer. In two years did I ever meet him? No. To answer back to the trustee I asked him to file certain motions. Did he file them? No. Did her ever plan ahead for scheduled hearings with the judge? No. He called me two hours before to ask what's new and brought nothing to the table. I had to listen to other cases with attorney's fighting for their clients. I yelled and said why don't you fight for me! Will he try to flip the script and make it your fault? Yes. He told me my case was complicated. Translation: I'll have to work and he won't do that. But please deposit more money. Will he tell the judge/trustee are all ready to move on from your case, that's it's over a nd nothing he can do? Yes. Is that true? No. My wife and I were so stressed that now we were just a few days from losing it all. I reached out for help from friends, when one suggested I call this other attorney they used. I did and she was a savior for us. She put the brakes on everything. Worked with the Judge/Trustee and put things in order. Thanks to her I sold my business instead of losing it. We're not wiped out, and most importantly she saved our home, where Serafin didn't give a shit and told us to turn it over. What a guy. I was also informed that there are others like me who were torched by this guy and are forming a lawsuit. I'll be joining that group and contact the Bar in hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I've worked with various lawyers in my life, but never have I run across a POS like him. Stay away and find someone who will work with you and actually care instead of this money grubbing so called attorney and his fake happy reviews.
