At the front desk, I specifically asked how much I would need to pay for a first time consultation and was told it was free by the woman at the front desk. When I saw Dr. Wang, I was assured a second time that it was a free first consultation that lasted about 20 minutes. There was no physical examination--Dr. Wang only filled out a few forms and asked me a few questions. A month later I got a bill for almost $500 for this "free consultation". My insurance covered about $100, but I was told I had to pay $313 for this. I called Hallmark Health, and they told me to call my insurance. Yet, after calling my insurance, they told me to call Hallmark Health. I had to call Hallmark Health at least 2 times before getting an answer as to what the bill was for, since they had told me it was free. I was very upset yesterday when speaking to the manager, Colleen, who told me that Hallmark could pay half if I was willing to pay half. Of course I was not willing, as I explained that both the doctor and front desk had told me it was a free consultation. At this point, she got very snippy with me and told me to call insurance again. This place has the WORST customer service, and I will not be coming back.

The staff is wonderful, working in that environment is most often met with patients that are not on their best behavior, in pain who can be ? The staff always remains so optomistic. This is my second visit and the results are great. Dr. Lubrano is the best, concerned with making me feel better and he did.

I gave birth to my second child at Winchester Hospital, and unfortunately, it was a very…read moredisappointing experience from start to finish. The biggest issue was the L&D & Mother/Baby unit after delivery. My newborn and I were placed in a room that was only 68 degrees. We were told there were no other rooms available, the solution was to give us extra blankets. We had to wait approximately 36 hours before we were moved to a room with an appropriate temperature. Recovering from childbirth while trying to care for a newborn in a cold room was incredibly stressful. I was also shocked by the cleanliness of the hospital. The postpartum room did not appear clean when we arrived. During my stay, the trash was not emptied daily, and the floors were never mopped. For a labor and delivery unit caring for mothers and newborns, I expected much better sanitation. While a few staff members were kind, my overall experience in both Labor & Delivery and the Mother/Baby unit did not meet the standard I expected. One experience that has stayed with me involved the nurse who introduced herself as Lindsey. She attempted to place my IV before my C-section and was unsuccessful after five attempts between both of my arms. At that point, I politely asked if someone else could try. Instead of responding with understanding, she appeared upset, gave me attitude, and slammed an item before leaving the room. It was an incredibly vulnerable moment for me, and I was shocked by how I felt I was treated. Even if a procedure is difficult, patients deserve compassion and professionalism, especially during childbirth.

Don't go here!! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I felt like…read moreDr. Millar had no interest in getting to know me and understand how I feel rather than to get me out of there. I told her about my anxiety and things and she went and told me every worse case scenario and then shamed me for how much weight I've gained in the past year and never listened to how I felt. You walk in and it's like being slapped with body sculpting and thin women advertisements plastered everywhere. If you have any sort of self image issues DO NOT come here. The staff is friendly and understanding but I was very unhappy with Dr. Millar and how she treated me. Felt judged the whole appointment and left feeling extremely guilty. Never going back.

After my first visit with Dr. Millar I learned to request an appointment with the nurse practicioner who was everything a dr should be but sadly she is now gone. Dr. Millar is very very rough to the point of pain. She will do unnecessary testing just because insurance will pay for it. She is very untimely (waiting for 45 minutes with a paper robe on is not anyone's idea of fun). I fully understand that emergencies come up and that she is a dr after all- but don't put patients in rooms to have them disrobe if she is running 45 minutes behind. At my last appointment she retook my family history as if it was my first time visiting... The office itself is so disorganized. They are constantly confusing my sister and my records and insurances. I have been frequently checked in as my sister for them to say-oh your not due for your examine where I then have to look at the record myself and explain well that because this record is not mine... For the last 4 years I have had the same insurance-yet I was billed in full for my last visit because they don't have my insurance on record. REALLY? REALLY? This last visit will definitely be my last. Absolutely ridiculous.
