Our house was in the market for 6 months and did not sell. Frustrated we pulled it out of the market to put it up for rent. Joseph Lee was the first person to contact us. He introduced himself and offered his services. We met with him and asked for time to make a decision. During that time he did follow up several times. We decided we wanted to rent it and let him know. He then asked for 30 days to sell our house- He said "I know I can sell your house" Give me 30 days. We thought 30 days only? really? sure ok you got 30 days. To be honest we thought it was not going to happen. The house was in the market for 180 days and didn't sell so besides professional pictures taken what would change? right? Well... one week after he put it for sale we got an offer over asking price and 30 days later we closed escrow! Jospeh and Christine communicated throughout the process through phone calls, emails and texts. They let us know all the showings they had scheduled and all the feedback received. They also sent weekly emails every Friday with a summary of what had happened that week. Would really recommend! Yes, he doesn't give up easily on you giving him your listing and he follows up constantly ( in a very professional way) but he does the same with potential buyers for your home and he gets the job done! read more

I wish Yelp could give negative stars because that's truly how I feel about Joseph Yong Bum Lee and (Christine) Ji Youn Kim in my brief experience with them. I was in a market to buy a condo and there was a condo in Diamond Bar CA that was up in the listings that I was interested. I asked my agents to contact Joseph and Christine and it took them about a dozen tries to get a hold of them. After we saw the house, I was interested and wants to make an offer, but my agents were having the hardest time in the world to get a hold of either one. Then all of the sudden a message saying that she (Christine) will notify us a date to make an offer. When that day came, nothing, nada. Then 2 days later, she turned up and we made an offer. She told my agent that they would make a counter offer if it's not good enough then she and Joseph vanished for another few days with no replies on any forms of contact. So after about a dozen + tries, they popped up and said 'you can make your final offer on 10/7/2017" so when we asked what happened to the counter offer, nothing again. We waited and waited then on 10/9/2017, the paper finally came from them so we did the usually - signed and returned within minutes. Here comes the best part. The house went on "Pending" status! And of course there is no way we can get a hold of these ghosts like usual. I was suspicious on their tactics at first then I was certain that there are definitely not the type of people that I want to deal with. I feel so fortunate not to enter any commercial engagement with them especially after reading previous reviews. But I encourage everyone that reads this to stay away from these two and file a complaint on California Board of Real Estate (www.dre.ca.gov) so this type of practice can be avoid by future victims. read more

I had a really terrible experience here. During the whole process, I have tried to speak with my dual-agent Joseph lee many times, but I have never been provided any way to contact him directly until I told them I will file DRE complaint. I have no guidance as my agent has never returned any of my request to speak with him for guidance and counsel. Can you believe I have never had a chance to speak with my agent even once? The Diamond escrow,which is the escrow department of Remax Diamind, even refused to deliver my notice to seller for several times. It is totally violation against the California Real estate code. The escrow want to charge me escrow cancellation fee which is higher than original escrow cost in pruchase agreement. They also charged me with an $200 Notary and e-sign invoice of last September. Do you have any idea that I saw the house at last Novernber for the first time? Remember, if you don't remove contingency here, everything changed! Threating for potential legal action, refusing to do an agent and escrow's duty, refusing to return deposit with ridiculous excuse which was even agsinst the law. I THINK THIS COMPANY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE DRE TO SEE IF THEY DOING ANYTHING AGAINST THE LAW. Never step in their office for your house purchase deal. Yelp should give me a chance to give them a 0 star. read more

I wouldn't let my worst enemy use this guy. He represented us as a buyer on a property a couple years back when we were overseas and did a crap job. Now that we are trying to sell, we're seeing all the stuff that he either failed to see or purposely omitted, either of which are inexcusable as an agent. We trusted him on our $1.2 purchase and now we're paying tens of thousands just fixing what a good buyer's agent is catching and inquiring about. All conditions were pre-existing and I am not trying to put blame on him for natural deterioration of a house. But we're talking about obvious issues... such as missing insulation in the attic, window locks that don't work, rotted wood on deck, spa heater malfunctions, and the list goes on and on. DO NOT GIVE THEM A NEW LISTING My mom dropped the listing from a realtor. Jospeh Lee shows up at Door for listing 7 am with bull crap cheesy presentation. Jospeh Lee up at Door in a nice suit and a new Tesla SUV and 3 pages presentation showing he is best award winning realtor. My mom signed up contract for 45 days. Every time she tries to get hold of Jospeh, his calls get transferred to Christina. It took these realtor 7 days to put the sign on property. They showed the property to one person in 45 days. They left all the lights on. Our neighbor called us to inform to turn off lights. After 7 days of listing, there was no communication from Jospeh and Christina. We could not contact them. Every time we called Bryan Kim realtor Office, front desk girl took our messages and no one returned the calls. Do not waste your time with these bad agent. If you just drop off your old agent, All Joseph does go around first day on new listing opportunity with his bull crap presentation. Jospeh is a bad nitemare. Do not list your property with him and do not waste your time. He does not do anything. Just collect inventory and inventory. He may be sell one out of 10 due to his inventory. That's how he sells. The worst real estate agent my family has ever had to deal with. Joseph and his wife, Christine are both absolutely terrible-- no follow ups, extremely difficult to contact (especially after you sign a contract with them), hardly any communication to keep clients informed, and when you do get a chance to talk to them they are very disrespectful and unpleasant. We paid them but we did most of the work for them since they were not available to answer questions nor follow up on doing their basic duties as agents. They do not have the best interest of their clients, they only care about getting paid. I am not sure how he thinks he can advertise himself as a "top agent"-- it's not just about landing deals that matters, it's what you and your wife can do throughout the process and after clients sign the contract that truly matter! I would NEVER recommend him, his wife, or their family business (uncle is the owner of the company) to anyone.
