I asked, "aren't you supposed to rinse that off first" and she rudely said "no... it's barbicide" like yes I can read thank you. My scalp started to burn as I was sitting on the chair longer and longer. I did a quick Google and sure enough the combs are supposed to be washed off before use. I attached pictures of my Google search to prove this is not ok practice. Not to mention the comb she was using looked like it was ten years old and had broken prongs. Not sure how you can get a proper cut while using a comb that's broken. To top it all off, not once was I asked if the water was ok while she was washing my hair. I had to ask twice for her to turn the temperature down. She didn't ask if I wanted my hair blow dried and just started doing it. She didn't ask how I wanted it styled and just turned on the straightener. When I said "oh you dont need to straighten it, I don't like using heat on my hair" she got snippy and said "ok you can just follow me then." And turned the straightener off. When I was being checked out I was not asked how the service or my experience was and was basically just given the price and told me I can read the monitor. Horrible experience. Let's hope my scalp is okay and I don't need to go to the doctor!!!!

Avalanche Salon & Spa you should be ashamed of yourselves how you treat customers after one of your stylists messes up. I was asked to come in to get my full refund, when I got there the women made the statement of this will end our business with you and your not welcomed back. Ummm excuse me why would I want to come back? I made it clear what I wanted with my hair dye, I was told it was attainable. Even while the stylist was dying my hair she said it would still be close to what I wanted, yet the end result was not even close. You darn well know your stylist messed up but instead of apologizing you continue to argue with me and tell me my hair was unbleachable and blame the dye I use at home. First the stylist was informed of the dye I use at home before even setting the appointment second you did a bleach wash not a full bleach. Lastly my hair is 100% bleachable. I've bleached it with the same products salons use so don't tell me my hair is unbleachable when you didn't even attempt to do a full bleach. Then to tell me this hot mess in the 1st photo is indeed pink and purple, are we serious? That is a dark mess with some purple streaks and red, on top of some spots missing dye all together. Not to mention my scalp is also stained from what your stylist did. The second photo is what I was told I'd be getting. Now let's go a step further. The last time I came in for a cut the same stylist messed up my under shave and bangs. There were patches of hair unshaved and my bangs were uneven. My under shave is not difficult, it has no fading, it's just a simple no attachment shave. And if you see my bangs in the photo, that's suppose to be newly cut but you can see the choppy look. I was just gonna take my refund and move on but since you wanted to continue to argue with me even while giving me the refund I will be filing complaints against your salon. I was in tears in this photo, I've had a beanie on my head since this was done, and I'm now going to have to pay even more to get someone to fix it because of the damage your salon did.

Adrianne is simply exceptional, and I would recommend anyone looking for a talented stylist to schedule with her, you will be happy you did. I owe Adrianne a huge "Thank You!", earlier this year she gave me a very much needed and appreciated day of beauty , that my daughter and friend submitted me for around Christmas. The attention to detail, the relaxed salon, from color & cut, hair treatment, & a paraffin hand treatment, all were fantastic. To fix it, the stylist spent 2.5 hours applying an all over base color, then lifting that with a balyage (kind of) bleach and then toning it so much that I ended up leaving with plain brown hair. My hair was plain brown to begin with and now it has a ton of damage and is still plain brown. I wouldn't recommend this salon for anything trendy or modern.
