Fluffy warm fresh towels beckon to be wrapped around you ! Spa sandals are given upon request & your given warm fluffy bathrobe to change into . Waiting room is dimly lit with beautiful candles and some light snacks available. I had Imelda for my massage and let me tell you she is petite and MIGHTY! A 50 min Swedish massage will leave you feeling like pudding !!! Her strength and skill is really quite amazing !! Jennifer did my facial and was so gentle and relaxing I actually fell asleep while she was doing the facial! Her skill and level of professionalism was amazing !! They use all Dermalogica products which I love!! Oh my god- let me just start off by saying that every single one of my expectations was blown out of the water. Shoutout to Rachel for making my last minute plans come to life, and working so patiently with me. Upon arrival, I was taken back by the entire resort and its beauty. The front desk staff at the spa itself was warm, welcoming, and beyond friendly. The amenities are all so taken care of and create the most relaxing environment. The locker room has anything and everything you can possibly need. The robe and slippers given were convenient and comfy. I spent about 5 hours at the spa and honestly if I didn't have to somewhere to be, I would have stayed for another 10. There is a dimly lit, cozy space to make tea/coffee, drink fresh citrus water, and help yourself to trail mix. The services themselves were splendid and extremely organized. The heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi with the magical view of nature were so unique. From start to finish, I was in awe... especially when I was offered a complimentary glass of wine. I must also mention that Jennifer is FANTASTIC! She knew my questions and requests before I even said them. She made my experience 10x better so thank you, Jennifer. Booked for a bachelorette. Started booking before the schedule was even created. Clarified through email and phone what we were looking for. Did the spa rental ($350 to have the spa to ourselves for 4 hrs). Also reserved a fruit tray, breakfast tray, and 2 bottles of champagne. The spa was letting other people into the spa for services halfway through our 4 hrs. (Luckily they cut the spa fee in half). Food and champagne was never brought out for us. You can get a massage just about anywhere but if you want to treat your aching body to absolute bliss, you have to come to the Spa at Bear Creek for your services. My therapist was top-notch, so if you go then make sure you ask for Jodie. Hands down (no pun intended) she is the best. She gave me some good tips to help me loosen up my lower back and my neck. We had to cancel due to extreme weather ( 3 inches of snow with continuing precipitation and sub freezing temperatures) and they charged us an unreasonable fee. I understand a fee if it is a cancel without reason but this was due to unsafe travel conditions. Will never go back. Spa personnel indicated to me "that the roads were fine" in a very rude way. I went in for a pedicure today, was greeted at the front desk by two very welcoming women, filled out some paperwork and was escorted into the spa to wait for my pedicurist. I was offered water or tea, a robe to change into and a comfortable seat. Within 10 minutes I was taken to one of two pedicure massage chairs. They only have regular nail polish, I believe the brand was zoya. I was wanting gels, I don't think I would have made the appointment at Bear Creek if I knew I didn't have the option for gels...my fault for not asking when I was making the appointment. The chairs and the spa were clean, the tools were in a little glass of disinfectant next to me. The pedicure consisted of the norm, scrub, a very short massage...overall it was kind of average. Absolutely nothing special. My usual spa is $35 for gels and a great massage. I don't think I'll spend the extra money for a pedi at Bear Creek. I may try another service, I'm in need of a facial, but I would like to be sure it's going to be great for the extra $$. Pedi has chipped pre 24 hour mark :( read more

My bridesmaids and I went the other day and we had a fantastic time. Three of us got massages and one got a facial. We were all raving about our services. One thing we really liked was being able to relax afterwards outside. We got lunch at the cafe and ate out by the pool with our complementary glasses of wine. Then we went back to the quieter outside spa area where it was more secluded. While we were outside, the ladies would check on us from time to time and brought us infused water. The staff was very friendly. Three of us received facials that were performed by Kim who was excellent! Four of us had Massages that were all great. My son loves pedicures, but loved only the ice cream sundae portion of the mani pedi. He was disappointed without a tub soak and massage portion. Guess I have him spoiled with the place at home that rubs lemon and honey on your legs! The lounge could have more comfy chairs and actual lounge chairs, but we didn't wait long anyway. Myself and two friends went for massages today. Two of us had had hot stone and the other had deep tissue. Massages were great. I love the ambience of the spa and amenities. We took advantage of the pool after our massages. The prices are comparable maybe even better than spas that don't have the frills. The only possible negative I can say was the changing area was sort of warm, which could be due to the sauna attached to the changing area. read more

I got a facial from Abby and massage from Barbara and they were both amazing! From the second I walked in I felt relaxed and I left feeling even better. They give you a robe to change into while you wait for your treatment and have refreshments. You can also use the hotel amenities (pool, hot tub, etc.) after your treatment which is so nice! My mom's mother (my grandmother) had passed away over the weekend. The Spa at Bear Creek was able to accommodate my mother, sister, and me for a number of services on Monday. Everyone was so genuine and kind in passing and offering their condolences. The manager of the spa came multiple times through the day asking if we needed anything. All the services were met well above our expectations. The entire staff from entering the spa to checking out was nothing but accommodating. We will for sure be coming back, thank you to everyone for making my mom feel so special and for giving us our special spa day, we cannot thank you enough. read more

I have been here 4 -5 times for massages and it's hit or miss. The best thing is the locker room. I was there for a couple massage with my husband and I received a hot towel behind my neck and cover for my eyes which was lovely, but afterwards I found out that my husband did not receive the same treatment while in the same room. Why?? I Went again with a girlfriend for the hot stone special and the same thing happened but this time I did not receive a hot towel behind my head only she did. Unfortunately the sheets and blankets on the table are too thin and of low quality and mine actually smelled a little rancid from stained oils? There aren't carpets on the floors so its kind of gross to get off the table and feel a cold and slippery hard floor as you slid over to find your slippers and robe. Sometimes one of the good therapist will place your robe on the table before she leaves but that only happened once for me. My friend therapist did it for her. I didn't feel relaxed at all after my hot stone...I could tell my Therapist was new and needed more experience bc she rushed through the 50 minutes. A hot stone should be slow and steady and super relaxing. I wish the spa director would consider emailing the clients a review form afterwards to really see how her Therapists are preforming bc I know most ppl wouldn't say anything while they are there face to face when checking out. This could be an amazing Spa but it lacks in quality and consistency. I have one more gift certificate and I am not too excited about going back at this point. read more
