I tried to take the afternoon bus to Mohegan Sun this past Saturday. When the bus not show up I called the dispatcher. The person who picked up the phone was very rude and said she would call the driver and call me back. Of course she never took my number so she couldn't call back. After waiting an hour at the exact location and not seeing a bus I called this rude dispatcher again and was told the bus had already come. Come to find out they used a different, smaller bus for the pick up. You would think if a transportation company is using a different type of vehicle that 1) dispatch would know this information and be able to tell you and 2) the driver would maybe come out of the bus to make sure there were no other passengers. This was my first time trying to take this bus and the experience was far from good. read more

Took the day off work to go to Mohegan. Called to verify that the trip would still be on, the day before AND the day of, as it was raining out.. Bus was 15 minutes late, and took the longest route to get to the next few stops. After sitting for over an hour on the bus, and the dispatcher kept telling the driver to call him @ each stop, we are told the trip has been cancelled!!! Not because of the rain,but because we have only 5 people on the bus!!! I immediately called the disptcher, as, why do we have to pay for the fact there was not enough people on the bus? He said it was "company policy", I said, "you don't post it"! Do they tell you, that you could potentially be on the bus for hours, THEN they cancel the trip?? Needless to say how upset everyone was. We then had to endure another 90 minutes of the driver's longest route, to return us to our cars. By then, it was 3 hours after we originally got to the bus stop to be picked up!!! Why couldn't they have sent a smaller van, or small vehicle? We all paid for the trip-It is THEIR problem if they don't make an unposted quota.... You could understand if they sold tickets, so they would know how many people were going beforehand, but they don't! So, you have to be held hostage while they HOPE they pick up enough people to make the trip!!!!! SHOULD NOT BE IN A CUSTOMER SERIVICE BUSINESS!!! VERY POOR ETHICS! read more

Use Josephs for airport transfers, they are always prompt, decent prices, but the service has been lacking recently - namely drivers don't assist with luggage, etc... Most importantly, they get you where you need to go, and on time... read more

On the bus to Mohegan Sun got picked up in Saugus got 2 Burlington an hour later and then the driver says "we only have 12 people not 15 so we aren't going I'm taking everyone back to their cars". No where on the website does it tell you this. Luckily everyone on the bus really wanted to go so we paid an extra $7.50 each to make up for the 3 tickects they needed to sell to make the trip. If the driver offerex that as an option I'd probably have given more stars but all he did was stand up and say "we aren't going" someone on the bus had to come up with a solution. Who wants to wake up at 5am spend an hour on a bus just to be told we aren't going and you are going to be stuck on this bus for another hour while I bring you back. Next time I'll definitely be driving myself. read more

For my wedding I was looking for a cheap and nearby service that could provide a limousine to take me and my husband to the church and reception site. After calling a number of places, I was really relieved when I found this place at such an affordable rate. They were straight forward on the phone and handled my reservation professionally. On the wedding day, the limo arrived 20 minutes early, the driver was really nice and friendly and helped me in an out, and he got me to the ceremony safely and on time. The limousine itself was clean and well air-conditioned, and although we opted out of any extras, I was happy with the overall quality and service. read more

I would like to give a customer service follow up review on this company. It was sometime later but it still came. I do appreciate having feedback and a much more positive customer service approach. I was contacted and offered a retry on the bus service and I will take them up on it. I will once again add my review of my 2nd experience. Last weekend, I booked the 30 person party bus for a 40-something birthday bash, and it was outstanding. We went from the Foxboro, Mass area to Newport, Rhode Island, and there was plenty of room for us to party. The bus has an awesome sound system, karaoke machine, plasma screen, and more. Joey was great to work with (flexible and customer focused) and our driver, Tom, was also very friendly and accommodating. Overall, an excellent experience, which I would highly recommend. If you're planning on using these people be careful. The drivers do not have any respect for other people on the road and put yourself & others at serious risk. The driver of one of these buses tried to literally run my small car into a barrier inside the 93 northbound tunnel & proceeded to cut us off & then gave us the finger.. Joseph's Limo is extremely priced. The customer service could be a little better (I had to go back and forth a couple of times with the representatives due to lack of communication within the company). The limo had arrived on time and it was incredibly beautiful and stocked with ice and cups. The aux cable was not working though wich was a little disappointing considering my boyfriend had spent countless hours working on the playlist. Santos the driver was extremely respectful. Tried to get a 25-person minivan to take us from Harvard Square to Logan in time for a 6am flight. The minivan never showed up and we all ended up having to scramble for taxis at 3am. Turns out reservations somehow put in the previous Friday, even though the computer system doesn't usually allow putting in past dates (time travel). They were courteous when I called to inquire, and didn't end up charging me. I asked about them covering the taxi costs beyond the $250 price we were going to pay, and they seemed amenable. Didn't happen because the taxis actually cost less, haha. The call when I first called to book was really smooth and friendly too. Was quoted $250 for the service, which I thought was a reasonable enough price. The disaster + the overall friendliness + okay save = 3 stars. read more

A great idea!!! My family was taking a cruise from the Black Falcon terminal and didn't want to have to worry about a car or dealing with mulitple cabs. Instead we called Joseph's and had a great start and end to our vacation. The drivers showed up on time, helped with our huge bags and got us to our destination in perfect time. They even came a little early to pick us up at the cruise terminal because we arrived early. Try doing the math for how much a cab would cost or the cost of leaving your car some place for a week or more. Spend a little bit more and you can have a stress-free ride to where you need to be! read more

I booked the limo ( at expense well above a normal cab rate to ensure punctuality and comfort) but the limo arrived at my house to pick me up almost 30 minutes late! The car itself needed a new suspension job and the driver was asking me for directions to Logan airport. Give me a break. Definitely does not meet the standard or reliability or comfort that one expects from a limo company. Try somewhere else. read more

My husband and I arrived at the Kohl's parking lot in Burlington MA to meet the 8:00am bus to Mohegan Sun. The bus was prompt, however, when everyone was seated, we were told, not by the bus driver but bya rider explained the bus wasn't going to Mohegan because we needed 15 people and we only had 12. The driver said he couldn't take us and he needed the extra three people. Another rider came up with the solution by saying if we all could pitch in an additional $7.50 or $8.00 that would make up for the three missing fares. Reluctantly, we agreed because none of us wanted to waste the day; we were all up early, we planned our day, we were meeting others, etc etc I re-read the bus guidelines and I couldn't find any verb age that explained that the bus had to have 15 passengers and couldn't go with less than 15. Also, we collectively paid for three additional "tickets" to include the money for lunch, money for betting, etc. What happened to that? That should have been somehow distributed among the passengers. read more

I would NEVER recommend Joseph's Limo to anyone....unless you want terrible customer service and incompentent drivers! I recently booked them for my wedding for a shuttle to take people back and forth from the hotel to the reception. Thank God I didn't use them for the limos for my husband and I or our bridal party. The driver got lost, and did not follow the directions they were given. He was also supposed to make multiple trips and did not. I called to ask for some of my money back and the office did not care at all. No one book with this company! You won't get what you paid for! read more

Took this transport to the commuter rail station in my town (Hull, MA) yesterday morning, which is located in Hingham a couple of miles away, which is part of their regular route. The bus driver in the a.m. was very pleasant and the ride went smoothly, I was there in time to make my connection which was the Greenbush commuter rail into South Station. Because I have had the bus not show up for a return trip home in the past, I called Dispatch around 2 p.m. yesterday to be sure that the bus still picked up from the Nantasket Junction stop where I had boarded on the way in that morning. I was told they did two pickups, one at 5:22 p.m. and another at 6:24 p.m. I chose to go with the 6:24 p.m. I got off the commuter rail at 6:01 p.m. and waited until 6:50 p.m. (I did call Dispatch, who informed me that they were not the regular dispatch, only an emergency service, and that the bus must still be running or else they would have been notified). In any event, I called a local cab company who arrived in 5 minutes. It cost me $15. Very disappointed in the lack of service on the way home. read more

terrible! do not do business with this company. i had a party bus reserved for tonight april 4th at 9p. i had given my deposit almost one month prior to the date. when dropping off the rest of the money yesterday, i was told the the bus was damaged by 16 yr olds who used it last weekend for a sweet sixteen. they could not offer me another bus. they called another company to help out who couldn't get me to rhode island where my party was. so they refunded my money. it surprises me that they didn't check this vehicle when it was returned to the company or even the next day. i should have gotten a phone call on money but they didn't say a thing. they held my 200 and waited until my uncle dropped the money off to let him know. 24 hrs before my party. leaving me having to figure it out on my own. very unprofessional in my opinion. do yourself a favor and bypass this company. they have one party bus..so if this happens again, you're screwed. just figured i'd save at least one person from.this horrible disaster they caused on my 30th birthday!!! i'm mad i even had to give any stars!!!!! read more
