Communication with them was a breeze and when the time came for the party, all my guests loved it. They provided plates, juices, salsas, toppings and 3 meat options (that I chose). I hired Jose's Taquizas to cater my daughter's baby shower this past Saturday. They would awesome!! They arrived on time (actually a little early) to set up. The food was ready to serve on time as promised. All of my guests raved about how much they loved the food. We had the tacos with carne asada, pollo asada, and carnitas, plus rice and beans sides with salsas, cilantro, onions, etc. Everything was so delicious! Just about 2 weeks ago my mom had sent you the confirmation email YOU requested asking for the type of meat, and drinks we wanted. Unfortunately we figured this meant we were actually on your calendar since in August we had booked you right after we paid for your teams services at my grandmas 85th birthday. You have no common courtesy, and your unprofessionalism is the cause for this review. I can not believe I had to see my mom that stressed out because 80 people were waiting for you to arrive & than to top it off when she called you YOU ALREADY HAD HER BLOCKED. Meaning it went straight to voicemail, than we called from a different number and all of a sudden you picked up within the first two rings. Now if that doesn't show that YOU messed up, I don't know what will. I will go ahead and attach the emails we have on file to make sure you guys know this was them and not someone we are confusing for. The amount of disrespect we felt, was outrageous especially because we have been booking with them for almost 8 years & we couldn't even receive an apology although that would never Suffice the stress it caused. Now for the review down below that states that someone mistakenly made a review and it wasn't you guys. We hired Joses Taquizas for my daughter's quinceañera in Nov 2023. Our decision for booking services were from all the 5 star yelp reviews and by recommendation. Unfortunately my experience was NOT at all pleasant. I will start by saying that the food was good and the 2 young adults who helped with the catering were polite and friendly. We paid for 125 guests and only about 110 guests arrived. It took between 20-25min for each table to get served (I had 11 tables with 9-10 guests at each table) approximately 40 guests did not get to eat because of how long it was taking to get served. Within the hour they ran out of the cactus salad and lemons. Guests were being served child size portions of rice and beans. 2 days after our event I reached out to Jose and explained to him in detail what had happened, he did express his apologies. He went on to say that in his 10yrs experience this had never happened & that he was going to find out what happened and call me back right away, sadly Jose never called me back. My suggestion if Jose is not going to cater your event himself DO NOT hire them!! read more

They never confirmed they were coming, we tried calling all their numbers because they were supposed to arrive at 4pm and no response, which was very worrisome on our side because we didn't know if they would arrive. They were supposed to serve from 5-7pm, when I went to ask for a quesadilla at 6:30, the lady had already turned the stove off. I thought I paid for services until 7pm?!?!
