Spoiler alert: the man is the consummate professional. The level of detail this guy focuses on is insane. The floral decorations on the bar top and the hors d'oeuvre platters come to mind. The whole experience was elevated because of the catering - the food, drinks, service, and presentation created a legit classy atmosphere. I felt like we were at a Hollywood premier reception - very fancy. I almost forgot to talk about the food itself lol! The reason we chose Scott in the first place was because we loved his dishes. We were impressed with the tasting menu meeting and selected our menu. When the day came...everything was so delicious! Here's the real proof. As hosts, we rarely get to eat much of the food at the event itself. We are too busy entertaining and talking with visiting family. THANK GOD they send the leftovers home with us! Let me tell you...working our way through the leftovers...was like...reading a love letter. Every dish was so good, so carefully and lovingly made, with only quality ingredients. The quality and care invested in each dish was literally palatable in every bite. The wait staff was professional and friendly. Scott himself was present and supervising everything. Timing of all services was perfect. Everything was perfect. No issues whatsoever, only love and praise, well deserved. Once again, thank you dearly, Chef Scott! Wishing you much continued success! The pricing was reasonable. Scott is personable and friendly. The night of the event, again, everything went smoothly. The buffet layouts were good. The bar and wait staff were good. The table settings were fancy and elegant. Everything was timed correctly. And omg the food. My son ate like 6-7 of the tuna tartare's. The salmon teriyaki skewers were my favorite appetizer. But my gosh the chicken was heavenly. All the guests commented on how good the food was. The day after we felt completely satisfied and we couldn't wait to dig into the leftovers. And, the staff members, Samuel and Freddy, were so professional, polite, friendly, attentive, and helpful! We loved their positive and upbeat energy and attitude. They made sure that we were completely satisfied and happy with every detail. We truly appreciated that they were also helping to clean up after our guests and served drinks to guests from the bar. We always have maid service to clean up after our guests during the event and told the guys that they didn't need to help clean up, but they were still adamant about helping out. What a couple of great guys! We can't say enough about the wonderful food and superb team that Buck's provided us!
