My wife has been using Josh's Auto Detail for years so I thought I would give him a try. I have a 15 year-old black Porsche 911 that was starting to show its age. Anyone who owns a black car knows how hard it is to get a great detail job. When I pull up to pick up my car, I thought I was looking at a car that just rolled off the factory floor. Super happy with the results - car hasn't looked this good since it was new. We had a bunch of scratches, sap, etc accumulated over time. I had a 2015 Dodge pickup truck. I had driven about 5,000 miles over the last 18 months. I attempted to wash it, but it had never really been washed. It had stuck on road grime all over the truck. I've had great service here when I dropped off my girlfriends car to have it detailed. They clearly spent a lot of time removing the extra dog hair thats built up over the past 3 years in the trunk because we picked it up and there wasn't a hair to be found. They do charge an extra $50 for excess dog hair but its well worth it if you have any pets that spend time in your car. The detail was extremely thorough inside and out and they ended up spending an extra 2 hours after their normal closing to make sure they got everything perfect which really left a good impression. Once the rain stops I'll definitely be dropping my car off here for a detail as well. They really went over every inch of the car and pointed out the spots where there were chips in the paint that they had to be careful on. I did try to contact them through their website first but never received a reply, email or phone, so it was much easier to call them directly and tell them what car and detail I needed. read more

Solid job cleaning the car but is expensive compared to any other business. Main problem with the price is that there is no published price list, he wont give you a quote over the phone and I made the mistake of not getting one when I dropped the car off. I thought a small local business would be cheaper than a big chain and he seems a decent guy. On pickup I felt that the price was pulled out of thin air based on what he thought I could afford. Maybe I was supposed to negotiate?? Instead I will just go elsewhere next time. read more

OMG, this man is a magician. My truck is 6 years old and has been out in the weather all that time. I'm afraid I never really took very good care of it to the point that there was even mold on the exterior. Josh spent all day giving my truck the tender loving care it needed (and I failed to give it) and I now have my new truck back. It truly looks brand new. I took my Lexus to Josh to detail it before I sold it. When I got it back from him it looked so good I decided to keep it. Josh is a master detailer in the same way Holly Smith is a master chef at Juanita Cafe. There may be bigger detail operations in the same way there are bigger restaurants - but if you're talking about dedication to a craft and all attendant skills to perform at a high level, then you want to go to Josh in the same way you want the best when you go to Holly's top-ranked restaurant. The typical detail shop business model is to give a young, low-paid worker a power buffer and set him loose on your car, letting him learn as he goes, practicing as it were, on your car. That's why you see cars come from detail shops with horrid swirl marks and grievous paint burns on the body lines. Josh's Auto Detail is not like that. Josh is it. Just him. You get all his skill and experience at work in your detail, whether it's a resurrection (bringing your car back from the dead like mine), or a quick wash. I honestly don't know how he does it. My alloy wheels had brake dust like most. I had tried the various wheel cleaning sprays from O'Reilly's, in combination with a wire brush and the high-pressure sprayer at the Brown Bear. Sure it helped, but it was nothing compared to what Josh was able to do - essentially give me back new wheels. The paint has the deep rich lustre it came from the factory with. Even the window glass is cleaner than I thought it could ever be again. We need to face it folks, our Windex just can't do what Josh can do. Have you ever watched a magic trick and then immediately wanted to see it again? It's kind of bizarre I admit, but I almost want my car to get all dull and lifeless again just to see Josh's magic. One last comment, and that's about price. Josh is not the cheapest guy out there. I considered one of the mobile detailers after I'd seen a SUV he'd done. The mobile guy's price seemed like a bargain. Josh was a bit more. Or so I would have thought had I not seen all the extra work Josh did, beyond what I was expecting. The bottom line line for me is did I receive value? It absolutely was worth every dollar I spent. I'm 58 years old and have had lots of cars detailed . . . Josh is the man. read more

Hey everyone! Since I usually shop for services based on people's reviews, I thought I'd post one here to let you know about the service I received today as Josh's Auto Detail. I came to see Josh last week and brought him my car to look at. I only wanted the exterior done. My white 13 yr old Honda has lived in a variety of climates including Florida and AZ and has almost 200K miles on it. The paint was definitely showing it's age. I asked him to get the paint as good as possible and then protect the heck out of it. So I dropped it off to him today to get the work done. I just picked it up. Josh totally did a great job and went beyond what I asked. He cleaned the interior, washed the car mats and even went around my car with touch-up paint to cover all the chips that were now much more visible with all the other stuff removed from the paint. NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!! It looks fabulous and I'll be taking my car back in 6 months to do it again. Very reasonable with his pricing too! Highly recommend Josh. He has great customer service too.
