Between snowboarding all winter and camping all summer, my car takes a pretty solid beating, and they've become my go-to for the annual reset. Most recently, I brought it in after Burning Man, which was a whole different level of dirty. First, a PSA because I have to look this up every single time: they're inside the Bellevue Square parking garage on P3 and can be surprisingly hard to find. The easiest route I've found is entering the garage from 10th Ave and driving straight forward from the entrance. The nearby elevator takes you up into the Hyatt and is also the easiest way to find your car again afterward. Now that I've written this down for all of you, perhaps I will finally remember it myself. I usually get the Elite package, and my car comes back spotless, smelling amazing, and feeling almost new. I've tried several other detailers in Seattle, including Eco Car's mobile detailing, and nothing has come close to the results I get at the Bellevue location. It's why I continue making the trek out here. For my post-Burning Man appointment, I upgraded to the Extreme Elite package. I wasn't expecting literal perfection given the amount of playa dust embedded in every conceivable crevice, but they did better than I expected. They got an incredible amount of dust out, including around the rubber seals, and pointed out some areas where I could consider paint correction. My car genuinely feels new again as long as I'm not squinting too hard into the tiniest nooks and crannies. I also really appreciate that they have bright inspection lights so you can actually look over the car before leaving, even in the dim garage. They also let you come back within a week if you notice something that needs a touch-up. For my fellow Burning Man people: I did a vinegar wash outside and vinegar wipe-down inside as soon as I got home to help neutralize the playa dust before bringing it in. I also attempted Calgon, which turned into a bizarre sticky, oily smudge fest on my car and required hot water to remove. Cannot personally recommend that experiment. One small hiccup on this most recent visit involved the garage rather than Eco Car. Because the Burning Man detail took more than five hours, I learned that the standard parking validation only covered the first five. When I tried to leave, I was told I owed $10 for the extra time. I remembered then that Eco Car had given me an additional ticket or validation on a previous long visit, but the parking attendant told me I couldn't turn around to ask and rather dismissively said, "it's ONLY $10." With cars lining up behind me, I just paid it. Not Eco Car's fault, but not a particularly pleasant way to end the visit either. If your detail is going to take more than five hours, definitely ask about parking before you leave. All that said, I'll absolutely keep coming back. I've tried to find somewhere closer that does as good a job, and so far, I haven't.

I dropped my car off at 8:30 AM on 8/4 for what should have been a straightforward process. Instead, I was treated to a masterclass in disorganization, zero internal communication, and passive-aggressive customer service. It starts the second you walk in. The front desk lady (whom I'll call Karen) was standoffish, rude, cold, and completely disorganized. They apparently don't use a scheduling system because I had to give her my full name, phone number, appointment time, and the reason I was there. She had no clue who I was meeting with, so she sent me to a guy at a nearby desk. I then had to repeat everything I had just told Karen to him--even though she was standing ten feet away. He also had no idea who I was. Finally, Howard (the person I actually booked with over the phone) came over from the next table. When I originally set up the appointment on 7/28, I gave them the exact make, model, and year of my vehicle --so they had all the details well in advance. Howard asked if I wanted additional work done while they had it, so I agreed to a full detail, which pushed my pickup to the next day (8/5). Completely fair. What isn't fair is the complete lack of basic automotive foresight. At 9:16 AM, I got a text saying the two tires needed more work than expected. I approved it by 9:31 AM, and they confirmed at 10:11 AM. Then... radio silence until 12:02 PM, when my point of contact texted asking for my wheel lock key. I admitted I didn't know what that was, but here's a thought: wouldn't it behoove a professional auto shop to ask about the vital key required to remove my tires when I booked the appointment on 7/28, or when I dropped the car off at 8:30 AM? So, at 12:30 PM--four hours after drop-off--they hadn't even started on my car. Howard called to ask if he could drive to the local dealership to get a key. Shortly after, he informed me the dealership would have to order the part (3-5 days out). Realizing Park Place Auto Salon is completely incompetent, I decided I was done. I texted Howard the next morning (8/5) letting him know I was cancelling the detail and picking up my car at 8:00 AM. I showed up at 8:00 AM. Howard was late and nowhere to be found. I was left waiting with Karen, who--true to form--was cold, unbothered, and didn't even offer me a seat, water, or coffee while I waited. When Howard finally rolled in, he went to check on the car, came back, and asked me, "Do you need the car today?" ...It's MY car! Why is that even a question?! He pulled the car around and casually mentioned he left the tire caps off so the dealership could see the wheel lock. I had to explicitly ask him to put my car back together and put the caps back on. To top it off, as I was leaving, he had the nerve to ask if I was "even going to go to the dealership." Brother, it doesn't matter what I do next. You messed up, wasted everyone's time, and showed a total lack of professionalism from start to finish. I remained polite through the entire nightmare, but this business is a joke. This job took 1.5 days longer than anticipated and that could've just been addressed by being more conservative when telling me how long it may take. We had already put down a deposit and agreed upon the price of the Escape, so we were committed to completing the purchase once the vehicle was ready. We also were not financing the vehicle. We had the money in the bank and were prepared to pay the full purchase price in cash. There was no financing approval to wait for and no uncertainty about whether we could complete the purchase. Unfortunately, while we spent months waiting for the Escape to be repaired, the used-car market declined. As a result, our trade-in lost thousands of dollars in value during a delay that was completely outside our control. When the Escape was finally ready, we spent more than two hours at the dealership, only to be offered $700 for our trade-in which an estimated its trade-in value over 3 K when we stated this process. After waiting months and being ready to pay cash for the Escape, a $700 offer felt insulting. The pricing made the experience even more difficult to understand. A used 2024 Escape with approximately 18K miles was advertised online for around $25K, yet AutoNation still wanted approximately $44Kfor the Escape we had been waiting months to purchase. Think about that: we had put down a deposit, agreed upon the purchase price, waited months for their vehicle to be repaired, watched our trade-in lose thousands of dollars in market value during that wait, and arrived with the ability to pay the entire purchase price without financing. After all of that, we waited another two-plus hours to receive a $700 trade-in offer. We did everything a dealership could reasonably want from a buyer: we were patient, committed to the purchase, had already provided a deposit, and had the money available to complete the transaction immediately. Instead of feeling that our patience and commitment were appreciated, we left feeling that AutoNation Ford Bellevue was simply trying to extract every possible dollar from both sides of the transaction. So, what did I do? I RAN AWAY! I walked away from the deal rather than spend approximately $44,000 under circumstances that made me feel I was not being treated fairly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AutoNation Ford Bellevue. Anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here should research the vehicle's market value, obtain independent offers for their trade-in before arriving, carefully review every number, and be prepared to do exactly what I did -- RUN AWAY if the numbers don't make sense. P.S. -- A Tale of Two Dealerships! It should be noted that AutoNation Mercedes-Benz Bellevue offered us $1,300 for the same trade-in, nearly twice the $700 offered by AutoNation Ford Bellevue. That certainly puts Ford's offer into perspective! And here's how the story ended: We purchased a brand-new 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Platinum from Roland Toyota in less than TWO HOURS -- completing the entire transaction with an all-cash purchase! After spending months waiting on AutoNation Ford Bellevue, only to endure another two-plus hours of frustration and a disappointing trade-in offer, it was refreshing to work with a dealership that made the purchasing process straightforward and efficient. I highly recommend Jesus at Roland Toyota. He was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with throughout the transaction. AutoNation Ford Bellevue lost a cash-paying customer. I scheduled a Mini Detail for my car which has no spills in it or major messes. He went out for 5m and came back in to say it wasn't possible as a mini detail was for vehicles that were cleaned often, about twice a month on average. Really? This car is not very dirty, the reasons he gave were that he saw crumbs in the door jamb. I could vacuum the car in 15m and fix that problem. Then said he would only clean the vehicle for the most expensive package which was nearly twice the price. The car is not very dirty, I just wanted to get it cleaned a bit to post it for sale. When I pushed back on this he said hey if you don't want to do this you could choose to take you car somewhere else. No hesitation, cool, I'm out. What a waste of time. Won't be going back there. I have had my cars detailed at several different places and I have never had a problem like this.

Glass smeared, door jambs not dry, trunk rubber still dirty, back cup holder not cleaned, some headrest not wiped down. Door storage not wiped out, cup holder not wiped out, carpet on onside of seats not vacuumed. I would have done just as good minus the great trunk vacuum job taking it to Brown Bear and save myself a few hundred dollars. Lesson learned.
