He's also very pleasant on the eyes. :-) I just want to personally THANK, Dr. Rajiv Datta for performing a successful Total Thyroidectomy surgery on 5/23/2018. I was very concerned, especially being a Motivational Speaker. My VOICE is not 100%, but I am confident that after my recovery (3-weeks) it will be back strong. My scar is healing nicely, my concern is a keloid appearing. I'm looking forward complete HEALING my from this health challenge. The gross unprofessional I have experienced is so disheartening. The head Nurse Jill has no business treating cancer patients. She is rude and disrespectful. The atmosphere is so negative. I saw Dr. Schwartz for the first time a few months ago, the exam was not through and I never received a call to review my test results. I had to send multiple messages and call several times before getting her on the phone. How can I trust my life with these unprofessional people. I would recommend you find an oncologist office other than here!

Great bedside manner, dry sense of humor, no rushing to get you out and open to answer 9,00000 question that you might have. He's also been on the "Top Doctors" list for many years. His office is located inside the satellite Valley/Mt Sinai cancer center in an easy to reach location. No need to go to the hospital for chemo/bloodwork etc. I'm extremely happy with my choice.

There is tunnel between parking garage and main building. Try to park on 4th level for shorter mazes walk to it. Elevators pretty much right there to take you down one level to 3 where their suite 365 is at.

Dr. Ian Horkheimer specializes in hematology and medical oncology and is board certified in both. For many years, he has been treating patients in the Little Silver community. Dr. Horkheimer received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at Washington University-Barnes/Jewish Hospital in internal medicine and conducted his fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center in hematology and medical oncology.

He was patient, informative and has a fantastic bedside manner. I was a mess at the time and he looked past it and helped to settle my nerves. As for the staff, you had some good and some bad. Most of the nurses are great. The woman who make the appointments were always helpful as well. Once and a while I had or saw someone else have some trouble with a particular girl at the front desk. I also had some issues with a couple of the woman giving transfusions. For one they would barely introduce themselves and then Im hard to stick and they would make it obvious when they were annoyed. These things make an uncomfortable situation worse. I add this in because no matter how great a doctor is he is only as good as his staff will allow. Overall my experience here was a 7 out of 10 and if I had any problems I would go back without hesitation.

I have been going to MSK Middletown for two years now (breast cancer)…read more When I called there the day I heard the dreadful words from an outside radiologist saying the MRI was not good and I needed a biopsy, the MSK team has been incredible. The scheduler, hearing the tears in my voice, said "We've got you." I have felt that way ever since. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kerstein and Dr. Park. Clear, patient and compassionate, they have guided me through my treatments without once forgetting my humanity. Yes, sometimes you need to wait an extra 10-15 for your appointment time, but this is a cancer hospital not a restaurant. If someone sick needs a little more time with your doctor so be it. It will be your turn to need the extra 20 minutes at some point. We are blessed in central NJ to have such an incredible medical facility right here. There's nowhere else I would ever go.
