This company is a joke. We schedule service with them and the technicians either don't show up, show up on a different day, or show up at 7:30 pm. The services don't work. They get you by getting you to sign a contract and then they do nothing. I've never seen a company with worse customer service and value. read more

So, the fast talking salesman sold me what I thought was a 1-time application for $99.00. Apparently, what I had actually agreed to was much more expensive. It seems that I had also agreed to allow them to 'steal' money from my bank account via my debit card at any time they wanted. I cancelled 1 application and 3 days later when no one was home, they say they came ad did the application - in the rain - and then drafted my account for $152. I contacted them via email and said I wanted to cancel and stated that they were not authorized to use the card again. So this morning they used the card to get $364 for early cancellation. I'm working with my financial institution to get my money back. In my opinion this is fraudulent business practice. read more

Canceled my account, a few months later got a bill for breaking my contract. the soliciting agent sold me with, you can cancel at anytime. The operator I called to cancel failed to mention I would have to pay another month according but according to section 11c I broke my agreement. The service is average and over priced. Do not use this company looking through reviews I see a lot of bad experiences and also the same bad business practices. They are overpriced and you don't get what you pay for. They lock you in a contract without explaining much just somebody with an I pad that makes it sound good and has you sign. They come when you don't want them to and if you cancel service you are charged an early cancellation fee because they say you saved it on your initial service of $299 not worth it someone comes for 15 minutes takes a duster around your house then sprays and it doesn't work we still had a wasp infestation. Unfortunately, the service was not effective (I still had bugs), and customer support was very poor. In addition, hidden fees are worked into the contract, which is the primary reason I severed my contract with them. I really didn't have a problem with Joshua's until they came out to do my 1st "quarterly" session. I had called to schedule them a week or so later than the original day they scheduled. We discussed that payment would be made the Monday following the session, as that was when I got paid. They ran the payment the next day. I called and left a message before it cleared my bank to ask for them to stop the payment. But then it went through and there was a NSF charge, which is there fault. Usually they call back within an hour if I leave a message during business hours, but I have called twice and emailed, still no response. And they comment stating they have left several messages and called numerous times, which is a lie! read more

I have nothing good to say after a frustrating few months of having uneducated workers coming into our home putting our children and animals at risk. They first put our chickens at risk after spraying then the next visit someone new told us they weren't supposed to do that. Then we have another worker start spraying in our house without seeing or asking about the baby items we had in the house- asked nothing if children were present. Starts spraying then sees our 2 month old baby and says "oops" we had to evacuate our house for the rest of the afternoon. Now we have a pest problem they can't seem to be honest about and not checking bait traps, taking them away when we said we needed more. None of the workers they send out seem to know what they are doing. This company is not doing their job for us but keeps offering more services for more money. We are firing them after many attempts to talk with staff and visits to our home. read more

Update: Joshua's really has turned our service around. A manager called me, I discussed my concerns, and someone came out and treated much more thoroughly. We have seen very few pests since. I am so upset, mostly with myself. Last spring my husband was out of town, and while my pest control guy was here, he saw wood that had termites in the back of the yard. He, of course, gave me the whole commentary about termites, and I sort of freaked. it was not an easy thing to get a hold of my husband, so I just committed and said OK let's do the treatment which came with signing a plan. After all these months I realized I am paying them over $600 each year for the next two years for maintenance...WHAT! so I called around different companies and they don't do that. I am upset. Just doesn't seem right. I wish I could do something but I spoke with them today and nope I have to continue to pay them. But I canceled their bug service. so sad read more

The service and the service people are good but when you complete the contract and they come back with a discount, to keep you on board, they send an invoice with a regularly priced quarterly fee and then calculate your sales tax on that amount and then apply the discount. Per the IRS you can only be taxed on the amount you pay the retailer and NOT the discounted amount. Try explaining that to them and they immediately do not want to do business with you. It may be only $5-6, but if you used them 4 times a year someone is getting $20-24 and it's not the government!! But I'm the only one who has 'squabbled' about this miscalculation. read more

I'm a current customer and I do not recommend the service. My primary objection is the occasional, pushy, insensitive solicitation from their "termite expert". When badgered for a time to perform a termite inspection, I told the rep very clearly that I *will not be home* before 6PM. She scheduled my appt window starting at 5:30. The tech/salesperson showed up at 5:15, stated that I booked the appt for 5:30, informed my wife I was late for my appt, did a walk around, rang the doorbell and demanded to speak with my wife about findings and a contract. At that point, things went really wrong. My wife stated clearly that she would not listen to or commit to anything. The seller began to badger and speak disrespectfully to my wife, saying among other things, can't you make decisions on your own? Unreal. Your rep has been persistent and knocked on our door several times and he's told them we do no want your services each time. Now, twice in the past three days, I have had the displeasure of chasing him away. The other night he knocked after sundown and my dogs went crazy. I pointed out the no soliciting sign (again). My spouse works 12-hour night shifts, seven days in a row, in a trauma ICU. Our family goes to great lengths to keep the house quiet during daytime hours those weeks, and the sign is a huge part of that. To pretend not to see it each time is getting ridiculous. Today (again with the dogs going crazy while my spouse slept), he tried to tell me he used to take care of this house for the previous owners (who cares? we've been here 10 years!). DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The person who did our initial service poured pest control fluid on our windows; one of which was difficult to clean as it was hard to get to the spots. I gave him a good review before my wife spotted all the mess he made on our windows. I immediately cancelled any further service. I paid for the initial service but they keep billing me for additional work that is not being done even though we have no signed contract. Total scam. Door to door sales guys gives heavy pitch. Sign contract. Two applications with no change. I communicate to cancel with no response. Then they call with automated collection recordings. Then they send email twice and I explain the situation and they don't respond but the recordings continue, over and over. All over $150. Then it repeats and I explain that Im not paying for service not provided and crickets. Now it started all over again. Total scam.
