Updated Review: Gerber Collision - Workmanship Warranty Experience…read moreBottom line: Their "one-year workmanship warranty" appears to mean little in practice. When I brought the car in for a clear fitment issue related to their prior repair, the response was a quick visual/feel check only--no lift, no parts removal, no review of the original paperwork--and an immediate assumption that the problem was my fault. About six months after this location repaired my 2025 vehicle (damaged in a parking-lot hit-and-run that was covered by the other driver's insurance), the front bumper cover began popping out from under the headlight. The clip holes were visible, and the cover would not stay seated. Online references and common sense indicated the bumper attaches to the underside of the headlight assembly; the original impact that tore the bumper off could easily have compromised those tabs. The issue was purely cosmetic at first, so I waited until roughly two months before the warranty expired to schedule an appointment. The same appraiser who handled the original repair came out. She felt under the bumper, immediately mentioned "curb scratches," briefly looked underneath while lying on the ground, tried (unsuccessfully) to push the cover back into place, and then stated there was nothing they could do because they could not rule out a curb scrape as the cause. She offered no further inspection, no verification that the tabs or related fasteners had been properly addressed during the original repair, and no willingness to take the car inside for a proper look. Photos I took the day I picked the car up after the original repair already showed imperfect alignment at the bumper-to-fender seam, visible clip holes under the headlight, and an uneven gap at the lower plastic pieces. The bumper looked acceptable and was the correct color, so I relied on the stated workmanship warranty if anything worsened. It did. A light curb scrape is common; a scrape forceful enough to dislodge the bumper cover from under the headlight is not. Yet the shop defaulted to that explanation without checking whether the problem stemmed from their own work. The interaction left the clear impression that the priority was avoiding any warranty obligation rather than determining whether their prior repair was still sound. I understand businesses must manage costs. However, a warranty that is dismissed after only a superficial look and an unproven alternative explanation does not inspire confidence. I cannot recommend this Gerber location, paid or under warranty. At least the bumper is still the right color and has not fallen off--yet.

My particular repair was on what they call a "body line," and admittedly I was concerned that nobody would/could return my tailgate to the factory specs, but I must write that not only did Rick's Paint & Body do just this, my vehicle was ready five days before the agreed upon due date. And as a man with an eye for detail I just write that I was impressed with their attention to detail. Also, never once did I have to wonder about the repair process as their staff kept me appraised of every aspect of what was going on with daily updates. In closing, for any collision repair- large or small- Rick's Paint & Body should be your go-to shop to ensure your vehicle receives the tender- loving care you desire.

I went back home and did the work myself in 15 minutes. Now, I'm happy that I didn't let them keep my car after reading the horror stories about other people's cars being joy ridden and being damage. I just couldn't shake the feeling about leaving corvette with them. I will never go to that business ever agai.

I cannot recommend Cushman Paint & Body based on my experience…read more I paid for the repair of a church member's 2024 Lexus after accepting responsibility for damaging the vehicle. Because it was a self-pay repair, I specifically asked about the estimate. I was told it included everything that might be needed for the repair so there would be no surprises and that the final price could even be lower if some items were not necessary. However, when I went to pay the final bill on July 14, it was several hundred dollars higher because I was told additional broken brackets had been found. That contradicted what I had been told when the estimate was prepared. I paid the additional amount anyway so the vehicle owner could pick up the car on time. After the vehicle was picked up, we discovered the trunk liner and rubber trim had not been installed correctly. The shop told us to bring the vehicle back, but I inspected it myself and was able to correct the improperly installed rubber trim in just a few minutes. We also noticed the replacement rear bumper was missing the Lexus emblem that had been on the original bumper. I emailed the employee handling the repair several times and never received a response. When I finally reached a supervisor, Sarah, I was told they would install the missing emblem only if I paid an additional charge. I explained that I had already paid the full amount, including the unexpected additional charges, and that I had been told the estimate covered everything needed to restore the vehicle. I was told it was a "human mistake," but the shop would not correct it without charging me again. Mistakes happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of communication, the lack of accountability, and the expectation that the customer should pay to correct the shop's own oversight. If you choose this shop, inspect your vehicle carefully before accepting it. Check every trim piece, emblem, liner, and detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cushman Paint & Body and would choose a different repair shop in the future.

Called and talked to Sarah ( a manager). Met her at 1:30. Basically gave me a run around, said there tech said the air box was anchored (a lie). I will be fixing these issues myself. I received my car back with small scratches on the whole passenger side of my car, scratches on my new chrome bumper, a chipped tail light, and a few paint chips missing. The shop was extremely rude to me and my family member when calling to ask what had happened. They tried to blame me for these damages but were caught when we asked for the photos at drop off that they took. After further investigation and realizing these damages were not previously on my truck, Cushman's did offer to try and buff the scratches out or paint the whole passenger side of my truck. I expressed multiple times there is no way I will be bringing my truck back to a shop that was rude, dismissive, and careless. I asked them to pay for a detailer who specializes in these scratches and to replace my new bumper-which I could put on myself. If they agreed to do this, I would not be writing this review. They told me they would not pay for a detailer to fix these damages and to call nationwide if I have a problem. So currently I am working with nationwide to get my truck fixed... AGAIN. I have yet to speak to a shop manager. I'm so upset that I got caught up with this shop just to have a simple rear bumper replaced. Now I have body damage on my truck and I will have to come out of pocket to fix it.
