Gave Josie's Housekeeping a try based in Yelp reviews and i was in no way disappointed. A team of three arrived at my house on time and quickly got to work. They exceeded my expectations. Windows cleaned inside and out on downstairs and upstairs floors. She showed me how to remove them. I had no idea. Never did this before. In fact i have paid for a window cleaning service in the past. Don't have to do that now. Screens were cleaned too. Glass shower door cleaned. No hard water stains. Ovens, fridge, blinds, floors...all clean. I usually expect a light cleaning but feel I got a spring cleaning. Her team is very honest. A cord for one of my blinds came loose in the course of cleaning and she said her insurance would replace it. And while it was in review with the insurance I didn't need to pay for the cleaning. We would settle up after the blind was corrected. Her offer really impressed me. I can trust her. Completely recommend her and will hire her again. (BTW I didn't take her offer. I emailed the designer who ordered the blinds to help me out with Hunter Douglas customer service. I really like this team and didn't want her to be out the money while i was taking care of something so simple.) read more

I have used Josie a few times in the past without any problems. However, I called Josie last Friday 1/22/16 to have her come and clean my house for a gathering that I am having this weekend 1/30/16. We agreed that she would come and clean on Wednesday 1/27/16 between 2:30 and 3pm. I normally work during the week, so I had to take the afternoon off to let them in. At 1:45 on the day of our appointment I received a text (not a call) from Josie telling me that she was canceling our appointment because "I only call her from time to time and she has "regular" customers that need her." I tried texting her back and calling to reschedule and to let her know that I took the day off from work for our appointment. She never responded to my text message or voicemail. I completely understand that she has regular customers but canceling (via text) 45 minutes prior to an appointment that was made several days in advance is completely unprofessional...not to mention disrespectful. Since moving to the LA Area I have hired different groups to clean my homes and found that Josie's was the best, and by far the most reasonably priced, especially for the excellent service you get. The house is always SPOTLESS when I come home! With other services I kept having issues with low time efficiency (i.e. charging by the hour for deliberately slow work) or just cutting corners (i.e. not doing the ceiling fans, etc).
