I hosted 5 people at Jot India last night, and it was as fantastic as ever. My favorites were the Vegetable Pakora, the Kadai Ginger Chicken, and the Chicken Kabab (the most beautiful dish on the table), all washed down with a refreshing mango lassi. The food was amazing, the service was personable and impeccable, and the setting was absolutely perfect. Thank you again, Jot India, for an amazing evening!

A friend and I met up for an early Friday dinner and were stunned at how delicious jot India was. We had read and heard good things, but actually being there to taste it is different. I had a massive plate of lamb, perfectly spiced with flavor and an appropriate amount of heat, and the appetizer sample my friend ordered had tons of good food, though a lot of it fried which was a surprise. Service was attentive fast and friendly, and the environment was comfortable and clean, a step up from the quick grab and go style of most Indian restaurants in the area.

Found this gem on a yelp search. WELL worth the trip. I took a friend, with whom I've eaten Indian food all over the world. And, like all the best food, it's in a little strip mall. I was expecting the quaint Mom & Pop shop, but it was actually very well appointed. Well lit, football game on the TV, bar & robust menu. Friendly staff, excellent service, and high quality food. We closed the place on a Saturday night. Chatted with the staff on the way out. Open minded and curious about what we thought. I'll be back..!

This restaurant has awesome food, good service, and is always so nice and clean. I usually get spice level 3 which gives a good amount of kick but not overpowering.

This restaurant was recommended by someone I met at a grocery store so we gave it a go. The staff is friendly, will chat with you and make you feel welcome and comfortable. The food is good too. I expect the food to be of this quality from most Indian restaurants. We were told their garlic naan was an award winner, so we tried it out and it was as good as any other garlic naan you get at an Indian restaurant. I usually order saag paneer at any Indian restaurant during my first visit to be able to compare with my previous experiences. It was good. Not great, but good. The restaurant interiors are like how most Indian restaurants are in America - a few tables and chairs to sit and eat. Don't look for a 'Dining Experience' while eating here. All in all, an average Indian restaurant that serves Indian food you won't have any complains about, but you won't leave the place writing poems about it.

Jot this down.....Euphoria with every bite! Based on their strip mall locations, you might be hesitant to try Jot India. However, that would be a short sided and close minded decision. Everything about this business exudes excellence. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was how spotless the restaurant is. Immediately, I was greeted with a friendly smile and invited to sit down. Without hesitation, I ordered my go-to lunch dish Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of Bhatura. The dish was delivered with such confidence and delight that I was already convinced it would be the best Tikka Masala I would ever have without even taking a bite. It was as if they knew what was about to happen in my mind, body, and soul. The rice was fresh and steaming, creating a blank canvas for the side of vibrant burnt-orange masala sauce. The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and buttery. While some Indian restaurants cut costs during the pandemic and watered down their sauces, Jot India seems to have done the opposite. The bold flavors painted my soul with the same feeling you get from a mindful inhale and exhale. This dish forced me to be fully present with every bite. At this point during my lunch I was already drafting my 5 star review. Then one of the owners, who is also the chef's son, payed me a visit. After chatting about my first time experience, he smiled and said "I'll be right back. I have something I think you'll enjoy." He returned with a curated dish of bone-in chicken curry. He continued to explain that he was sharing the cooks and crew "family meal." This was the food they cooked for each other that isn't even on the menu! Unlike the classic Tikka Masala, this dish hits different. It appeared to be more broth based vs butter. It was light and coated with a thousand spices. The first bite was subtle and approachable, and then after thirty seconds an explosion of unique flavors with just the right amount of heat opened up my palette to another level. Jot India transformed what would have been an ordinary lunch into a moment that I will never forget. They inspired me to try new flavors. They made me feel appreciated in a way that is typically reserved for close friends and family. It is apparent that they cook with their hearts and serve with joy and respect. Thank you chef.

Good Indian food here - close to Ambar / Baba / Guru good and I'm picky. Service was decent, and it is a really cute place inside.

More people came in but the restaurant was pretty empty all evening. Our server, Rachel was very friendly and helpful, going over the menu and made sure our waters were filled and we had what we needed throughout the evening. I asked her opinion between two cocktails and went with her suggestion of the chai espresso martini which was delicious! We started with the sourdough bread that came with treacle and honey butter which I thought would be more remarkable, if pretty much tasted like run of the mill butter. For dinner, my husband and I split the pachadi salad and the short rib vindaloo. The salad was crunchy and fresh and very flavorful, I would definitely get it again. The vindaloo was good but I would probably choose something else next time.

When I went to make the reservation, I found that that if we show up with 3 instead of 4 we would pay a $20 per PERSON fee. I have heard of no-show fees for a whole missed reservation, but a missing person is offensive. Do I get a discount if my service is slow because a server called in sick? What if the entree I came in for is sold out? I bet not. We were able to find a table at a different restaurant that puts an emphasis on the experience, not the profit times seats times turns equation. It's a shame. I liked the food here, but a policy like that puts in on my no-go list.

Because it is so exxxxxxpensive, this is not a restaurant you casually dine at. But since it was my sister's Bachelorette weekend, my group of 7 treated the bride-to-be to a luxurious dinner here in May 2026. And she had a wonderful experience! The interior is gorgeous, elegant, and smells amazing. The staff is professional and runs with the efficiency of a Michellen-starred restaurant. I always enjoy watching a staff of 7 deliver the table their food like they are performing a choreographed dance. I ordered the cheapest drink on the menu - a yummy local beer from MadTree for $7. The others had much more expensive cocktails that were $20+. You won't have to worry - while their food menu is small and selective, the drink menu is HUGE. They surprised us with glasses of in honor of my sister's upcoming nuptials. That was a lovely treat! I kept to being a cheap-o and ordered the $18 "Arpege" salad as my main. It didn't have any meat but it had a lot of cheese! Yum! Others ordered more substantial mains like the scallops, the beef tartare, the halibut, etc. All were plated beautifully. I had a bite of the bolognese, and while a small portion, it was superb. You do have to pay for bread service but it is unlimited refills so on $8, the 7 of us went through 6 loaves of bread and 6 trays of delicious salted butter. I personally probably had 2 loaves on my own. My god, it was the best thing I ate the entire trip! After we ate our mains, we then ordered a variety of desserts. Most of us got ice cream (get the strawberry!!). My sister and another girl got the famous "candy bar" dessert and the cheesecake. I had a bite of the candy bar and for $15, it was the most dense candy bar ever! Sooooo much chocolate! I'll end here but with tax and tip, we paid about $630ish. My portion was $51, by far the lowest of the group. I got out relatively cheaply because I filled up on bread but feel free to treat yourself and indulge a bit more!

Everybody, each member of the staff was fantastic. The pomme soufflés are out of this world. They are such a treat. We always love their Hamachi, specially, when they have it with the grapefruit and slivers of jalapeños. Right now they have a truffle Hamachi, which was really fabulous as well. Their foie gras torchon is also exceptional. We cannot wait for them to bring back the cod in buerre Blanc sauce. But last night we opted for the hamburger, which is quite the treat there. If you are a bourbon drinker, you should try their buffalo trace single barrel right now. My husband thought it was more delicious than most other buffalo trace, more of a cherry and vanilla hint. Anyway, we had a perfect night.
