There is a pickle stand too that had loads of pickles, olives, and other brined items (free samples too). There is a bread vendor on occasion though they do run out quite often and by the time the 9-5 crowd gets over there not much is left. And then there is Lima family farms which sells meats and eggs - excellent quality but also can run out of things after 5pm. I'd love to see something else, a bit more variety, though I certainly appreciate the offerings that are there. The space is a little awkward but I am sure it works for the farmers because of the high traffic area. Bring cash because most vendors prefer this method of payment. You'll be sorry if you end up there without any in your pocket!

Corn, greens, and herbs are available basically as soon as it opens in June, but it's best late in the summer/early fall when there's a dozen types of (heirloom) tomatoes, all kinds of squash, peppers, greens, onions, beets, squash, melons, stone fruit, apples, etc. I think the nuts stand is the only place with protein (no eggs, beef, chicken, pork, fish), so that's kinda weak, but you can get all that stuff at the other markets (Thursdays Uptown on Hudson St. and Saturdays on Garden btw 14 & 15), though I don't think the produce selection is as good as downtown Tuesdays.

It's much smaller than the Hoboken and Riverview farmers markets but I was able to find much of what I needed. The market hosts Alstede Farms from Chester, Jersey Pickles, Caniglio's Bakers and some artisans. In addition. a food truck sells tacos, quesadillas, etc which you can take home or consume at one of the small tables.

I am in between a 4 and 5 really, but I think I am going to stick with a 4 for now since I know there is room to grow for this market, and I know they will, perhaps even by the end of the summer. This unique market is a friendly place for people to come visit to buy some fresh veggies, delicious homemade pies, freshly picked mushrooms, or fresh meats and more on one side of the lawn! On the other side, is kid heaven, from games, and bbq, to bake sales, and homemade crafts. A few features they have are fitness classes in the AM, usually yoga, and a new addition of a cold brew coffee cart that has some of your fav carby items such as bagels and muffins. They also have tables where community members can sell their "stuff" hence the rummage component. It is community run, so I am thrilled to support as much as I can. You can tell the organizers take great pride in what they offer to the community and that their vendors are happy to be there. My only challenge is that you dont always know what vendors are going to be there and sometimes there are only a few. You may need to hit up other farmer markets if that is your main reason of going to supplement on occasion. I've also been there right when they open and some of the vendors haven't set up yet. This is something that the organizers cant always help. Some vendors are there faithfully every week, so thats always something a visitor can rely on. This is by far one of the most charming and unique markets in Hoboken. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. It is worth it!

The problem is that the people working there were so unfriendly that it made us uncomfortable and hesitant to go back! Othe than the vegetable stand, there was a decent (and friendly) bakery stand, plus a couple of other small businesses and a few rummage sale tables. I hope they can resolve the vegetable stand issue, as I would like to return.

There's only about 5-6 vendors, so it's a relatively small market. But Stony Hills Farm takes up about 4 booths of space, so there's a lot of selection there. We only picked up some slices of pies - but they have apple cider doughnuts! I'll have to make sure I visit next week to get some. Their produce looks super fresh and if we weren't going out of town soon, we'd be picking up some of their cherries and strawberries. Rabble and Lion had a stand and I picked up an iced coffee while heading out of the park. Great coffee!

Every Tuesday, from 2-7pm, there are various vendors at Bayonne farmers market selling produce, hot foods, baked goods, and other edibles. Lizzmonade is here and there's also a fellow who sharpens knives and a table set up for face painting. I was very impressed with the variety of veggies here. Brussel Sprouts, all sorts of zucchinis and squash, and of course great Jersey Tomatoes and Sweet Corn. It's actually located at 23rd and DelMonte, but this address is almost on the dot. Just west of Broadway along 23rd street... right by the mini-golf course.
