I'm already planning my next visit...YUM! First time here and it did not disappoint! I'm so glad I found yummy homemade ice cream at a family owned spot. There's so many yummy flavors - it's hard to choose! I ultimately went with the rocky road (my classic favorite) and the cheesecake with rainbow sprinkles (because why not!?) and enjoyed every bite! I think the rocky road could've used more marshmallows but that's my personal preference for my favorite childhood fave ice cream. Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! It's only street parking so get ready to search for that when you come to visit - but it's worth it! And read street signs so you don't get towed or ticketed. read more

Definitely be ready to stand in line, My friend and I waited for 30 min to get our ice cream fix. It was worth the wait. It was creamy and soft and delicious. A nice go to spot especially if the weather is nice! Staff was nice even though it was busy. Fun fact , the guy helping us said that 30 min was considered a "short" wait and is usually crazier. I came here for the first time after apartment hunting for my first Hoboken/JC apt many moons ago and even after leaving the area, it's still a favorite and a must visit when I am in town. It's a local family owned spot, so already beats out the B&J, Haagen Dazs & Van Leeuwen's that make the up the main aves. The ice cream is amazingggg and I have never ever had a bad flavor. My last visit was a scoop of coconut cream & vanilla was graham cracker and coconut flakes and *chef's kiss* perfect combo. I always try a new flavor when stopping in and it is always tasty, so you can never go wrong in my opinion. On hot days or the just any day with good weather, the line can go out the door so be prepared to wait if it is even just a little nice out. My motto is it's never too cold for ice cream, so make the trip over now while it is chilly if you want to beat the crowd. When we arrived, the wait wasn't too long, but there was a good sized crowd for a Thursday. I was craving Rocky Road with sprinkles, and I decided I needed a waffle cone. Service wise, they unfortunately train their employees to be curt and sour in telling you with the deadpan expression that sampling is limited to three. Shout out to this local icecream business. I've visited for the past 3 years. My only gripe? The vegan/plant-based options. Every visit, I hold out hope for new flavors or improvements, but the current selection still falls flat. The chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry vegan scoops unfortunately lack flavor and excitement. When there are 28 indulgent dairy flavors and custom cakes on the menu, it's a little disheartening to see 4 vegan options available--and no vegan cones either. It feels like the plant-based offerings are just there to say they exist, but not crafted with the same love or creativity as the rest.
