One of the managers, I think named Daniela, helped my son and me during our visit, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was friendly, patient, and had a great eye for finding exactly what we needed. It's not always easy to shop when you have specific preferences, but she made the process effortless. She took the time to listen, offered great recommendations, and made sure we left completely satisfied with our purchase. The only downside was that it took a little longer than expected to get assistance since the store seemed short staffed. However, once Daniela approached us everything went smoothly. DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BUY USED SHOES. I came here and bought some shoes assuming they were new but nope they weren't I noticed they had scuffs and the soles were dirty. Obviously I'm not paying for somebody's returned shoes so I go back to return the shoes and the manager DANIELA inspects them and says they look new then shortly after speaking with an associate with orange hair who was whispering in her ear does she out of nowhere claim that they're "used". I told her clearly you sold me a pair that was returned because how are they gonna be dirty if I haven't even worn them yet? She then THREATENS me and says no store is gonna take them back that all she can do is exchange them and while she's "checking her system" no shoes are in stock HOW CONVENIENT. Thankfully a district manager from another store helped me with my return. Customer service extremely bad... ... We walked in..no one approached us to ask if we need help..there was 4 employees just standing for decore... Until I approach one and ask for help..I asked another guy if some chucks design were available in adult sizes...he points at toddlers shoes..don't know why..I say it gain adult... He says oh the adult converse are over there...so I say..don't u know what kind of shoes u have..he said NO..WTH..so u need to get some training and do homework son.. I should have read the reviews before I came to this location. Long story short, I went in to return an online purchase. I brought everything that came in the package with me but apparently the slip of paper that looks exactly like a receipt isn't a receipt (it has everything but the form of payment on it). Basically, showing my email receipt wouldn't suffice and I was told that I had to print one out. The guy (I think his name is Sergio) said to me that unless I carry a printer with me, I'd have to go find one or go home. ARE YOU EFFING SERIOUS??? Firstly, his attitude and smart-ass was definitely uncalled for. I did nothing but ask a simple question and it's not like he was busy with other customers. He was just standing there when I walked in and there was only one other customer in the store! Secondly, isn't your job to sell your store's products and not turn potential buyers away? Don't you guys have sales goals to meet every hour or so? I'm sorry you're stuck in a retail job but don't blame it on your customers. We didn't force you to work there. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was trying to be funny and make a joke. I'd say he's got his work cut out for him because his "joke" cost his store $100 and repeat business. I guess it doesn't matter to the store since they're still in business after all these years. So my wife and I went to purchase a pair of vans but they were dirty and we asked for another pair and of course it was the last pair so the worker offered to clean the shoe and we declined to purchase the shoe. The attention was Fucking horrible and you can't be mad at someone for not buying and dirty or damaged shoe. Whoever she was snatched the shoes up and walked off. Was looking for some shoes for my daughter. Called all journeys and this one was the only one with the size we needed. I told the employee to please put them aside for me and that I was on my way to purchase them. I get to the store and ask her for the pair of shoes, she looks at me laughing and then looks at the other employee and tells me I can't sell them to you cause I forgot to tell you that they were already put aside for someone else. I should have followed my intuition before shopping at the Journeys store in the Brea Mall, Ca. I ordered two pair of timberline boots. Tito did not know customer service. I was asking for his assistance in explaining the difference between two boots and in the middle of the conversation he walks off to help another customer (who by the way did not purchase anything). I asked for the order to be completed and that it be shipped to my home. They sent the wrong size on on pair. I immediately called and "Tito" who identified himself as the store manager said he could not help me. I told him I need to exchange the item and he said that he was to busy to help me. I asked him find me another pair and call me back. He never did. I called back again and spoke with Beni who identified herself as the store manage who did locate another pair but refused to have them sent to her store so I could pick them up. She said if I wanted them I would need to go to a mall 32 miles away and pick them up today. I had to bargain with her to please have them hold them until at least the next day. I told her this is out of my way and that I should be compensated with a discount or something. She said we don't work on commission and it is the company policy to not give discounts.
