I visited the store with intention to get help finding a suitable work shoes for my problem (flat foot, planter fasciitis, and small bunions) feet. Grayling warmly greeted me immediately as I entered. I informed him the purpose of my visit. First he measured my foot on a speciality digital foot machine. Then helped with picking out several pairs of shoes to try on. My options are limited due to restrictions we are allowed to wear with our company uniform. The ones he selected was perfect for comfort and meets company standards; however we both agreed they were basic but not stylish. Grayling was so patient and helpful during the lengthy time I was there trying to find something. He's super knowledgeable about feet and gave me a few helpful pointers to get the maximum comfort from my shoes. Wonderful first time experience and won't be the last. I was disappointed that I just didn't find anything that day cause I really wanted to purchase something from him. Highly recommend this location! Note - Grayling suggested checking out the Rockville location as they have more selections and stylish options due to the location. It was a totally opposite customer service experience. Didn't get her name but I believe she maybe the owner. Tall brown skin full figure mature women that was so RUDE. She refused to help me in selecting shoes or trying anything on. Only told me (in the most rude manner) " I can come back in two days cause they just got shipment but she's not putting it out, her husband will do it". I mean it was hundreds of name brand sneakers to choose from. I was with my oldest granddaughter and this was our second stop for new shoes. She couldn't find a style she liked at the first store. Well, we had a moment of silence, JK, before looking up and down the rows of sneakers. She tried on several pairs and fell in love with the Reebok's. Now, I have to say that $85 dollars is the going rate for a pair of nice sneakers for a teenager. So, I think it was a good value. This is a clean and well organized store. The service we received was mostly at the checkout counter and that went smoothly. I am really happy to see the big smile on my granddaughter's face as she left with the shoes she loved.

They're more of a gray, but they are genuine leather with a super soft suede lining & they are the most freaking divinely comfortable Birks ever! FYI ~ Not all Birks are leather - they offer vegan, eva, & recycled material options as well. I love the little bit of bling the sparkle brings to them & this was a trip well spent, literally. The food court is huge and continues to grow, with some older spots being replaced by newer options. I was first introduced to this mall in a pretty unconventional way--at a dance event hosted by Urban Dance Artistry. The space was large enough to host a big crowd and still allow for smaller performance pockets, which showed me how versatile the mall space actually is. As far as cleanliness goes, the mall itself is generally clean and bustling with a very diverse crowd, which I love to see. The only downside? The bathrooms could definitely use some attention. They can be messy and not the freshest-smelling at times. Although I do really like that they have a separate area for kids to wash their hands. I'm not much of a mall shopper these days, and a lot of the stores aren't necessarily places I'd go out of my way for. But as a parent? This place is gold. My son absolutely loves the play area. There's also a paid bounce house spot near it (which he thoroughly enjoyed), and they have the indoor train that rides through the mall--which is basically a core childhood memory waiting to happen. It's also a great spot for teens to meet up at. I love that they have a little photo booth to print out 4 pictures on a strip, very nostalgic vibes. It's also super convenient. The Wheaton train station is right there, but it's also a hub for a lot of buses, making public transit access incredibly easy. On top of that, you've got nearby restaurants, Party City, a grocery store, and plenty of other essentials within walking distance. There's even a CVS Pharmacy nearby. Overall, it's a solid, practical, family-friendly mall. Not luxury, not glamorous--but convenient, affordable, and full of things to do--especially if you have kids. Four stars from me.

Line is brutal and sad. People are dropping things they want to buy. While store features a few good brands, it is useful for trying on if you do not mind undressing in front of others since fitting rooms are locked and finding a willing store associate with keys is not something one can guarantee. If something fits you and you want instant gratification of purchase, you must stay in a line where store associate chats every customer up to demonstrate family like environment while marinating you for an hour waiting. You should consider if you want to wait or better order online. If you decided to buy, then after 20-40 minutes of waiting you are pressured through attack on why you do not want to become a member. REI, I do not want to become a member of this environment exactly because you are not considered about people. Those people in the line behind me want to enjoy their Saturday and you do not care about it. This is all I need to know. It is exactly the environment that I avoid as plaque as it is inconsiderate, often rude, entitled, pushy, and fake.
