We were trying to buy a refrigerator for one of our rental properties, as the current one was on…read moreits last legs. After a week of dead ends we agreed to buy a fridge from this place, the online ad stating it was 'In excellent condition' and 'works like new' - note that! I drove over and was led to the fridge. 'In excellent condition' and 'works like new'?? As soon as I opened the refrigerator I was hit with a strobe light effect that was like a 70's disco! The guy shrugged and said they would 'fix it'. The cover that runs across the bottom was missing, and I was told that he would 'find it'. A fitting for the water dispenser to the left, at the bottom, was also missing - another 'I will fix it' excuse. Two of the shelves were missing, one from the freezer and one from the fridge - another 'we will fix it'. Finally I asked where the handles were, and the guy walked to a box of them, and spent 15 minutes trying to find them. One he managed to attach, the other he couldn't manage - he couldn't find the 'right screws'. So this 'In excellent condition' and 'works like new' fridge had an insanely defective light, four items missing, and a set of handles that couldn't be attached for lack of screws - in a business that makes a living repairing and selling appliances and is, apparently, run by the Keystone cops. The owner promised the screws for the handles and other parts would be ordered in and that the repair guy would be out within a week to effect the work. I asked that a receipt be forwarded, and the owner texted that one would be on the way. Taking the fridge I left, and took it to the rental property where I explained the situation to the tenant, joking that if they felt like dancing all they had to do was put on some music, turn the main lights off, and open the fridge door. I texted politely for the receipt a couple of times, and finally got exasperated at the stalling. The woman, in what proved to be typical fashion for her, tried turning herself into the victim by sending me a picture purporting to be from her hospital bed, claiming to be in the middle of an important procedure that she had dramatically halted in order to respond to my obviously untenable demands. A week later, the repair guy showed up at the home and was let in by the tenant. The new light was installed, but hey presto, it made no difference - the strobe effect remained. The missing part for the water pump at lower left, plus the cover, were at hand, but when the idiot tried putting the handles on the doors it transpired that he'd brought along the wrong pair - AFTER having located them the previous week when I was at the place of business! So off he went again, promising to order in ANOTHER light and bring back the correct handles. Of course there was no sight of the missing shelves. I texted the business owner again and told her that the whole thing was turning into a shambles, that her business was a mixture of chaos and dishonesty, and that we would take the matter to small claims court. She promised that the parts would be ordered, that the handles would be sourced, all would be well, and that the repair guy would return the following week. The following week duly arrived, no one showed, and I texted the business owner again to ask what was going on. First she refused to deal with me and outrageously claimed she would only deal with the tenant. When I reminded her that I was the purchaser, as well as the landlord responsible, she tried reversing the situation again by playing the victim and saying she was 'too stressed' to deal with me (never mind it was self-induced by her dishonesty in the first place) she even took it a step further by claiming I was making fun of her English! Real piece of work. She tried wheedling out of it again by claiming that the parts were still on order and would arrive the following week on the Friday - another 10 day delay on top of what she had said. I jumped on her about it, suggested she go back over her text history to look at her previous assurances on when the repairs would be effected - she then went silent. After repeating that we would have no problem taking her to small claims court she texted back that they would take back the fridge, issue a refund, and give me a two-week window to find a replacement. That was little more than a week or so ago. A refrigerator has been sourced, I'm getting it delivered tomorrow, and advised this slime bag operator via email when they can pick up their defective unit and leave the refund with the tenant. No response of course, which should hardly surprise. So if you've read this tale so far, heed the lesson and stay away from this operation. They are as shady as hell, unscrupulous, and dishonest to a fault. How anyone could go from 'In excellent condition' and 'works like new' to what we bought, plus all the prevarication, incompetence, self-justifying pity and drama, is almost beyond description.

That said I did not get a great deal on my bike. The person who closed on my sale is gone. He was unwilling to budge on the price even after I told him there were better deals at other dealerships. I broke down and bought from him since I developed a relationship with him and a former salesman. The two men let me test ride many bikes and take long test rides of many bikes for 2yrs. Even after the guy I bought it from left, I was treated well every time I brought my bike in and received A+ service, in the parts and service depts. . After hearing horror stories from friends about other dealerships & shops I think the extra money spent to cultivate a relationship was worth it. Now that my prior salesman, Orlando, is back I hope to get a good deal when I upgrade. Minus one star for the lack of movement on MSRP, but again my treatment & pricing in follow up serice and installing goodies. worth it to me
