They always had good reviews and seen them mentioned many times on a local foodies FB page. And my brothers ofc is near by so we met here for lunch. 1- bring your appetite. 2 - you might need a to-go box. I did. They had so many choices. All look so appetizing. I went with the bacon avocado burger and onion rings. The pics don't lie. The burgers are massive I barely got down 1/2 and 2 ORs. Lots of bacon and chunks of avocado all held up by a huge patty and delicious bun. The rest would be for dinner. And it was. My brother went with the Lonestar. BBQ sauce, grilled onions and jalapeños and against, that huge patty. He was able get get all his gone but not sure how. Food was awesome and if you're a burger person, this is a bucket list stop. Pricing - we each got out as a combo meal and each was $16.95ish. So they're a bit pricy. But for portion size and quality it's a good deal. I got 2 meals off mine. Again, bucket list burger place. I was really excited to try Joy Love Burger. I know this place has been around for a while, but they definitely missed the mark for me and my coworkers. I ordered the cheeseburger, and while the burger is big, it still has to be put together well--and the bread should not be soggy at the bottom. Mine was, and the whole burger ended up being pretty messy. The onion rings had a cake-like texture--soft and sweet--but I think they could improve the batter so they stay a little sweet while still getting that crisp bite. The steak fries were not fresh at all and were extremely salty to the point of being uneatable. We only ate about half of our burgers, and the rest had to be discarded. I had never been here before but had heard good things about it. Placed my order at 7:37 and planned to eat my food at the restaurant, which closed at 8. The food took about 15 minutes and the person had put it in a to go box. I told him that I had planned on eating it at the restaurant. He told me that I couldn't because they are closing in 10 minutes. I have never in my life been asked to leave a restaurant 10 minutes before they close. I drove home which took about 10 minutes. The burger was ok. It was mostly bread, I guess they are famous for their oversized buns. The fries would have been better if I could have had them at the restaurant, while they were still hot. Sooooo disappointed! I used to order from the one in Spring Branch and it was my go-to burger joint. About a month ago, I ordered from the location in Katy and it was good but the cheeseburger didn't have enough cheese on it so today I ordered the same thing, cheeseburger with EXTRA cheese at an additional cost with tea and utensils, condiments, etc. I did not get extra cheese, the bun was so soggy, I had to take it off, the burger was messy and didn't hold together and if I remember from before, this isn't supposed to be a SMASH burger although it was this time. It had an unripened tomato slice and a roma tomato slice with hardly any lettuce and more pickles than anything else. The tea had NO ice and I did not receive the utensils or ketchup. Decent place to get burgers around the Katy area. The burgers were huge, if you get a deluxe burger, I would probably recommend sharing, especially if it comes with fries. This has to be the best burger joint I have ever been to. The food is amazing, and always come out very warm and fresh. The burgers are HUGE you will have to squish them down to eat them. Other foods like the steak wrap or shrimp wrap are also amazing. Staffing is the nicest staff from any food place I have seen in a while, I have never had one rude or unpleasant encounter coming here. This is a great lunch spot. Service was very friendly. I had the catfish burger with fries and it was delicious! The buns are ginormous and very fresh and the fish had so much flavor. The rest of the group got burgers and they really enjoyed them. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of is that they use Styrofoam cups. On 6/29 about 6:30 I ordered the cheese burger combo without condiments. I also ordered two Cajun wings and four shrimp. When asked how I would like my shrimp (corn mill or flour) the guy taking my order suggested I get two of each which I thought was a great idea. I'd like to give recognition to the man behind the counter taking my order. I mentioned to him that it was my first time in the establishment and he was very patient, pleasant and engaging. He definitely made my experience a great one! The burger was fantastic. It's huge! The patty had lots of flavor. The buns they use are amazing. All of the toppings came through in a great way. The fries were nice and there were plenty. The Cajun wings were underwhelming. Not to say they were bad but with the cajun description I was expecting more. The shrimp was cool and for my preference I'd go with the corn mill batter. I can't wait to go back and try a more interesting burger and explore more of their menu. I gave four starts initially, but they've fixed every previous issue (it was very small inside, but they've expanded and now you can sit easier to eat). The food is the best and the service is even better. My standard is the Cheeseburger with grilled jalapenos added. My husband is crazy for the Crazy Burger fully loaded. We decided after reading their reviews to go and we're very disappointed. We ordered the Cajun wings and when we got them we noticed a huge wing that was bleeding over the breading. I let them know, they took the basket and came back with the same huge wing refried. Now we could see the burnt blood since we could plainly see it was refried have refried the other regular size wings because they tasted dry and the breading was too dark, almost burnt. I told the guy again and he offered to make me some more to which we declined. No manager came out to apologize or anything! Hamburgers were good but the fries were soggy.
