I visited Spice Wing on yesterday and ordered the wing special with the Chezzi sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was so overpowering that I couldn't really enjoy the flavor of the wings themselves. It completely dominated the dish. The customer service was also disappointing. There was a help wanted sign outside, which may explain some of the staffing issues, but when I walked in, the girl at the register never greeted me. I told her I had an order to pick up, she grabbed it, handed it to me, and that was the entire interaction. No "hello," "thank you," or even a smile. The wings may be better with a different sauce choice, but based on this visit, both the food and customer service left a lot to be desired. read more

Wings, Wings and more Wings!!!!!! This was my first time visiting this establishment. It was very clean, fresh and smelled good as I entered the door. The owner JAS was busy preparing food when I walked in so I waited patiently at the counter. He walked out and greeted me with a smile and offering to explain the menu. He was very knowledgeable of the flavors and suited my needs very well. I described exactly what flavors I was looking to try and he made it very easy to choose and make the right decision. JAS, was very kind and friendly. My order included a 6 piece wing order which consist of 6 wings one flavor and one dip. fries of choice, vegetable sticks (celery and carrot) and drink of choice. Wing flavor: CHeez - Hot, dry lemon pepper and Cajun all mixed together. It was so tasty, tangy and hit of bursting flavors. I was very pleased and cannot wait until I go back again. The wing containers separate the fries from the wings and a holder for the sauce. (VERY UNIQUE) Fries - I inquired of best seller and he expressed the waffle fries with garlic parmesan seasoning. I choose the curly fries with Cajun seasoning. I have to admit they are not curly like (Jack in box) but more like shaped in a letter of C. I expressed this feedback which I believe has a lot to do with the distributor. They were hot, fresh and seasoned well. The fries come : Waffle, curly, straight and wedges. Four seasoning, Salt n Pepper, Cajun, Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper. Drink - Tea (Sweet and Unsweet ) and Coke products. I was very impressed with how clean the machine seem and there was a coke maintenance worker there cleaning and making sure drainage was working properly. Lastly - I was inquiring about the size of wings vs Halal wings and Jas was very informative and honest. He explained the Halal wings are marinated separately but fried in the same fryer and he is very honest with customers who inquire about HALAL. The wings are natural therefore the size is normal compared to the wings at other places that are manipulated. I am excited about being able to eat GOOD AND FRESH CHICKEN. The restroom is nice, modern and very clean. It literally looks like a hotel restroom or BUCKEY's it is so clean. Ms SONIA is the lady I met while I was eating as previously she was busy but made sure to greet me as well. Truly a family affair and their customer service is top notch!!! I was at a birthday party at Activate Games. I needed something to hold me over, and this place was not too far. It wasn't your typical chained fast food place, and I noticed it was a small business on Yelp. My first impression, the menu was a little overwhelming. So many different options to choose from. The folks at the counter were nice enough to help me navigate through the options. I ended up with just 6 wings with the Chezzi sauce (I didn't want to go with anything extreme). As I sat down, I noticed how spacious and clean the inside was. I was the only one there, and it looked like they just opened recently. The wings were good...nice and crispy. The Chezzi sauce tasted like Louisiana Hot Sauce, which was fine for me. Over all, this a great place to grab some good wings. read more

The menu on the app says "Friday to Sunday Special 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM Free 5 wings on order of any Big Box 30, 50, 75, or 100". I ordered the "30 pc Big Box" for $29.99. She told me that that was only for the "Wing Box" order for $42.99 & that it would then ask what flavor you would want the 5 wings. I showed them that is not true because when you applied the "Wing Box" to the order it doesn't ask what flavor you want the 5 wings just like the "30 pc Big Box". She continued to argue with me & I told her it was fine...I'm not going to argue over free wings, but I wanted her to know that the menu is deceiving and it needed to be fixed. She then says we are going to give it to you and I said it's fine it just needs to be fixed on the app. She then says "we already made it what are we going to do with it?". That comment was not needed especially after making a big deal that the order doesn't come with 5 free wings. Why even agrue with me if you already made it? After I left they ended up deleting the "Free 5 wings" and left "on order of any Big Box 30, 50, 75, or 100". Also, in the description it says it is a "30 wing combo" & there is also a pic showing fries. Yet they didn't give me fries & a drink. If you look at the description for a combo it says "combos come with fries, dipping sauce, veggie sticks, & a drink". The guy told me that corporate makes these app descriptions & doesn't tell them of these promotions. It doesn't make any sense to me that when I showed them what the app says they say it's wrong. How is it when I leave they are able to remove the "Free 5 wings" off the special right away but didn't fix the 30 Pc Big Box description saying it's a 30 wing Combo. I thought it was corporate they had no way of fixing it. And it was an incomplete fix. Tried the new Spice Wing place and it was beyond our expectations! We ordered the tenders and they were humongous (and Halal to boot!) with the super crunchy, crispy coating very reminiscent of fish from fish n' chips. They even brought complimentary waffles for our kiddos as it was our first time here. The lemon pepper wings were amazing but that jalapeño ranch with the kicker bourbon wings so good and the seasoning on the wedge fries. The wings are great, they are within the same tier of quality as wingstop/buffalo wings, and for a fraction of the price. The fries are cooked perfectly (I had wedges, they allow you to choose between like 4 types, at no extra cost which is great) , the only issue was that the lemon pepper wasn't to my liking, it was a bit more sour than conventional lemon pepper, but that's a preference issue, NOT a quality issue. Unfortunately they were out of Dr. Pepper in the machine, but hey, stuff happens, and I still enjoyed my experience there. read more

I have ordered delivery from Spice Wings three times, trying the bone in Red Chili, Ghost Pepper, Kicken Bourbon, Korean BBQ, and Jamaican Jerk flavors. The Red Chili had good flavor, but was more sweet than spicy which was disappointing. The Ghost Pepper lived up to its name with a nice flavor with a heat that slowly builds. The Jamaican Jerk was a bit bland for my taste and did not have the heat I expected. The Korean BBQ was good, with a good balance of sweet and spice. My favorite in all three orders has been the Kicken Bourbon for the best balance of flavors. All the wings are decently sized and are consistently crispy, however they can be extremely dry if not eaten fresh. The store has also been out of sweet tea every time I have ordered and the replacement Coca Cola has always tasted too syruppy and flat. read more

My wife has ordered from spice wing a few times, but the one in Webster. On the way home from work I figured I'd stop at the one in Katy to cut down the drive time home. This location does seem to be a bit newer and ran by what I assume to be a husband-wife team. I ordered honey lemon pepper wings extra wet extra crispy, bbq wings extra crispy, and 3 corn nuggets. The lemon pepper felt like it was missing the lemon pepper for one and no extra honey was applied either. I might've settled for that mistake, but my wife mentioned the corn nuggets were off as well. I like to save those for last as if it were a dessert item so when I bit into it I instantly identified what she meant. I'm sure that they used the same oil for the chicken on the nuggets. If you've ever ate any food cooked in old or over used oil then you understand it's not a pleasant taste and can kill the experience of a food quite easily. Please be more mindful of your customers in the future, not undercutting their food experience to save a few extra dollars. read more
