Sitting on my new Joybird sofa in absolute cozy heaven as I type out this review! My last sofa purchase was back in 2016 and it made it's way through like 5 apartments before I finally said goodbye and decided it was time to pull the trigger on something new. I still loved it veryyyyy much so a new couch had big shoes to fill! Joybird caught our eye for awhile from mostly Instagram ads, but we confirmed with the couple people we know with one that they are good couches that they would 100% get again. I am never ever one to buy something as expensive as this without an in person sit test so we planned to go check it out at this showroom and I am so so happy we did. We were confirmed that they are beautiful couches, and we also discovered that the couch we originally liked was wayyyyyy to firm for our taste. After a few more sit tests we found one we loved. And after lots of deliberation we found a fabric we also loved. The Anton Sectional (basically just a big chaise) looked great in the store and even better (if I do say so myself) in our living room. And so much love to Aiza, the saleswoman who had been extremely attentive to us during our search. She gave us info when we needed it and space when we wanted to keep looking/chat amongst ourselves. There was another woman there who was extremely kind and helpful as well, even after she knew we were already working with Aiza, she was just there to chat, offer opinions on colors, etc. They helped us see the color swatches we liked in different lights, took a look at pictures of our rug and offered suggestions on what would look best and made a big decision a lot less intimidating. We left with a couch purchased and ready to be shipped! And even after warning us that they very rarely will be shipped earlier than expected, our came about 2 weeks before we were initially told, a holiday miracle maybe?? Delivery was easy. Scheduling it was no problem at all and now we have a big, beautiful, comfy new couch that our dog is fairly obsessed with. read more

To whoever is thinking of buying anything from joybird- DO NOT. Just got my couch, the pieces of the couch don't match. Absolute garbage. And costumer service is awful. read more

We purchased the Colette Dresser from Joybird about four years ago and were initially very happy with it. The design was beautiful, and it felt like a quality piece. Unfortunately, our experience with Joybird's product durability and customer service has been disappointing. Recently, the ball bearings on the drawer runners rusted and fell off, making the drawers unusable. When we reached out to customer service--willing to pay for replacement parts--we were told that Joybird doesn't offer support or replacement parts for furniture older than six months. No repair options, no parts for purchase--just nothing. For a $2,000 dresser, that's unacceptable. Furniture at this price point should be built to last, and if issues arise, there should be a way to fix them. Unfortunately, Joybird seems more focused on selling new pieces than supporting their existing customers. If you're considering buying from them, be aware that if anything goes wrong after six months, you're on your own. read more

Had a really dissapointing experience with the company, specifically with the delivery that was delayed 4 times in one day causing me and my wife having to scramble for last minute child care. To add to the frustration, the couch was never taken out of the boxes by the crew. They just left the pieces standing there in the middle of the room. Initially, the company responded to my complaint and the manager from Manhattan store-Jessica, stated that she is very sorry and offered to compensate us in some way but after the initial communication, we never heard from her again despite emails and voicemails left. I was not expecting that when I ordered the couch for over $5000 from Joybird. I rarely do it but I am going to BBB and will consider other actions. read more

My husband and I did A LOT of deep research on couches. Like most NYC residents, we live on our couch when we're not in bed. As much as we wanted to buy a couch and have it the next day, Joybird was well worth the wait. The quality and comfort is unmatched. The sales are fantastic. Plus, there were many instances where customer service shined: 1) they willingly changed the credit card on file for us after we made a payment in store, because we wanted to get credit card points with a card that we didn't physically have when we were shopping 2) they gave honest, helpful advice when we wanted something durable and pet friendly but also modern and sleek 3) they were responsive over email throughout the process 4) when the couch we originally ordered didn't fit in our apartment (ugh), they refunded us fully and helped process our new order for a smaller model. When we moved into our new house, we needed a big, luxurious couch that would fit two adults and two big dogs. Couches these days are EXPENSIVE and this was SUCH a big purchase that we were pretty nervous about getting it right. We did a lot of shopping around, but when we went to the Joybird showroom in Manhattan, my partner plopped right down on the Holt sectional in Royal Forest and said this was it - even the color. I really appreciated the free swatch kit which let us see how the color would actually look in our house. We had to save up a bit, but we are LOVING this sofa. It's deep and soft and soooo comfy. Delivery took a while, but the couch actually ended up arriving a week earlier than they originally said, and the white glove delivery was fantastic. We've hung onto the swatch kit - we're going to need more furniture and I would 100% order from Joybird again. read more

Had a great experience at Joybird working with Eli. He helped me find a couch to fit the small dimensions of my studio apartment. I went with the 68" Preston sofa which was perfect for my space and is very comfortable yet firm. Picking out the perfect fabric was overwhelming with so many fabric options at the showroom, but Eli helped me find the right color and material for my space. My sofa arrived in about 5 weeks which was hard to not have a couch for a month after moving, but it was well worth the wait. Dealing with another couch that breaks from Joybird has been a traumatic and dispiriting experience. Not only did the company make using store credit difficult, but they also did not even allow us to use all of our credit. It has truly been a horrible experience working with Joybird reps who gaslight, lie, and do anything they can to steal customers' money. Know also that you will never be able to speak to a Joybird representative--they will never give you a number or opportunity to explain your situation. Joybird is a bad company that sells bad products and needs better customer service. I wouldn't wish a Joybird customer service experience on my worst enemy. As of this writing, Joybird has stolen from me. Will report them to the Better Business Bureau. Avoid at all costs. read more

I am very happy with my decision to go with Joybird's Carin sofa. I was looking at Casterly, Floyd, Bo Concepts, and a few others, but I liked the variety of styles and fabrics available with Joybird. I upgraded the fabric to Sunbrella because the sofa is in a sunny spot and I didn't want it to fade. I finally purchased a Joybird Lewis Sectional after having my eye on it for months and I have not been disappointed! I got the color Royale Forest, which is so beautiful in person. It is such a comfy couch, with plenty of room to stretch out on. The ordering process was a breeze, and I loved being able to track it throughout the building and shipping process. It even arrived earlier than the estimated date, which seems unheard of these days when ordering furniture!
